Foxete's POV:

Stress. It's all I can feel. The Evonian army is not on our trail and Kreko will only be angrier now that we took out his ship. The ship is at a stand-still. Most people are just hiding in their rooms, too afraid to come out. Is this the army I have to take on Freddy? Who am I kidding. I had a panic attack post-battle! It took a lot of convincing to let Illoha allow me to leave my room. She says I need rest, bull crap. What I need to do is fix this ship or we'll all be dead within the next few hours. We'll run out of air by tomorrow. I haven't told anyone other than Dex.
"Hello? Earth to Fox?" Keori materializes into the control room in-front of me.
"Ah, sorry. I'm just in my own thoughts." I joke lightheartedly.
"Well, I fixed the engine. We need to land someone soon though, we're almost out of gas." Keori sighs.
"Davis?" I ask out loud, hoping he'll hear me.
"Yes, Foxete?" He asks bluntly.
I ignore his bluntness, "How far away are we from Macola?"
"About a day away." He responds, "We'll make it... barely."
"Crash landing?" I groan.
"Hold on to something." He chuckles.
"Oh brother." Keori pouts.
"Go make sure the kids are in their rooms Keori, I'm gonna initiate launch as soon as everyone is ready." I command.

"Yes captain." She grumbles walking out of the room.

I exit the room after her. First, find Illoha. Next, find Dex. Then, make sure Ru and the boys are safe. Finally, announce the launch and initiate it. I go over the list in my head. Illoha, Dex, Ru, Crew.
I knock on my door, "Princess?" I ask. She opens the door. Her hair is tied in a messy bun. She looks cute. Shit. Wait, she can read my mind. Fox don't feed her ego.
"Yes, you dork?" She chuckles.
I forgot what I had to say.
"Are we going somewhere?" She asks.
"Ah! Right, yes. We are flying to Macola on low power and are gonna crash land." I sigh.
"So you want me on standby?" She asks.
"That would be lovely, Princess." I smile.
"Great. Thanks for telling me." She kisses me and closes the door quickly.
What am I doing next?
God she's a distraction. I should've gone to her last.
"Why are you standing outside your room?" Dex asks puzzled from behind me.

"Oh, I was just talking to Illoha and am now going to talk to you. We're crashing onto Macola. Be prepared. Make sure Josie and Kean are safe. Yeah, that's it." I say bluntly.
"Fantastic. That is just wonderful news, thank you Foxete." He says sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
"Yes, of course. Now I need to check on my son and then make a public announcement." I sigh.
Dex laughs.
"What?" I ask.
"When did you start calling Ru your son?" He smiles.
"Since he started calling me mom." I grinned back.
"How's it feel to be a parent." He jokes.
"Remarkably irresponsible." I smirk.
"You seem to be doin' fine." He laughs.
I roll my eyes, "I mean the kid practically raised himself. I act more like his older sister than his mom."
Dex shrugs, "Well you are only 10 years older than him."
"I guess so. Still, it's cute he started calling me mom." I smile.
"Yeah, it is." He agrees, "I won't keep you, I need to check on my family."
I nod, "Alright, see you around Dex."

Oh how the times are changing.
