I had to do the resit today and to say I was nervous was an understatement. I felt in a way more confident about my own ability to do this test successfully, mainly thanks to Jungkook's tutoring but still...

It was scary.

Han and Chris were both in the utmost spirit not as if this was an important exam. It did have a positive effect on my nerves I guess so that was positive.

I finished even before time ended which came as a surprise. and foremost I had a good feeling about this exam.

     'How did it go?' I heard Jungkook's voice echo as soon as I walked outside the classroom as if he had been waiting for me. 

      'I think a lot better than before but I don't want to get my hopes up.'

       'We'd just have to be patient then' Jungkook said as if it truly was a team effort. it was kind of alien to me, someone actually caring about my school results.
        'yes, hey why are you still here?' I then asked.

Jungkook looked a bit nervous as if I caught him doing something he wasn't supposed to. 

       'uhm I studied a bit and then I thought I could just pass by the lecture hall see if you're already finished to walk back together.'

       'Good thinking' I said but factually we were already making our way back to our apartment

A week after I received the grade from my resit.

      'Well done miss y/l/n' the teacher gave me a proud smile as he handed me the paper, and my heartbeat rapidly as I read the A.

Maybe it was silly because in the agency I was considered one of the best and I never failed a test but this A meant so much more. I was super hyped and impatient for the class to end, even when it was only 5 minutes of waiting.

Finally the redeeming sound of the bell

I left the classroom and I saw Jungkook walking in the distance.

      'Jungkook' I shouted and he turned around. I excitedly hurried his way and when I finally reached him I showed him the paper overexcited, a wide smile also appeared on his face.

    'Congratulations y/n well done!'

I threw my arms around him in a hug. 

     'Thank you so much, it's all because you helped me.'

I then sort of froze and awkwardly let go stepping back. As I looked around I was painfully aware that we were surrounded by many spectators. The annoyed faces of the girls especially stood out.

Ugh if he wasn't like a prince nobody would give a shit.

The striking thing was that Jungkook's cheeks seemed to be flustered.

     'Uhm I was about to go back to the apartment do you want to join me walking there?' he suggested as the spectators around us seemed to be overly interesting in what we were doing and discussing.

     'Yeah sure' when we were finally outside and away from other people I jumped excitedly

    'You should celebrate this y/n' Jungkook laughed at my silly behavior.

An idea popped into my mind

      'I have an idea' I declared

      'Which is?'

     'You, me, overwatch and beers?' I said and I suggested it the same way as I would suggest it to my other male friends. Without any hinting that this could be a date.

     'Really?' Jungkook asked his face lit up.

     'Yes, that sounds like fun, if you want at least' I indicated.

     'I'll take care of the beers because you took care of my grade.'

Jungkook laughed again 'sound like a plan'

I had a hard time getting food through my throat. I wasn't hungry but I couldn't say why not. Jungkook would arrive at 20:00 and I had bought way too much beer but I wasn't sure how much he normally drank. better safe than sorry I always think

Finally the door bell rang and I excitedly and slightly nervous opened up. 

       'Woah you have a PlayStation 5?' he asked overly surprised.

       'Yes it was a gift from prince charming' I joked back.

       'The question is, is prince charming actually good at this game?' I added a bit too overly confident but I actually did think he wouldn't stand a chance. I was good at this game and he was well he was a prince. How much time would he have any way to game?

      'We'll figure that out won't we?' he replied back.

I gave him a cheeky smile

       'oh by the way you want a beer?' I asked and he nodded.

We took place on my couch and I put down the beers. After I handed him the controls.

After approximately an hour of playing, I realized I didn't have the upper hand here. My self-confidence was painfully misplaced. We finished a game and decided to take a short break. like a "biobreak" and I replaced our empty cans of beer with new ones.

      'How are you so freaking good at this?' I exclaimed. 'Aren't you busy with I don't know... prince classes?' 

Jungkook chuckled 'yes I have prince classes every day' he said in a super sarcastic tone.. 'No, what would that even be' he added.

        'I don't know.. maybe how to eat properly or walk properly or how to rule a country' I suggested, being aware I was more chatty as I was tipsy from the beers.

Jungkook now full-on laughed 'how to eat' he repeated while laughing.

       'Don't laugh' I pouted feeling stupid 'sorry it's just funny sometimes to hear what people think that my family does.'

      'What is your family like?' I asked, which was a pretty personal question and I wasn't too sure if he would answer it.

He stared at me but soon started talking  'my brother is actually my half brother, I mean we share the same father but my mother died when I was 1 and he remarried soon after and had my brother with my stepmom. I mean she is really awesome and I see her more as my mother because she raised me but yeah. and my brother is also really cool, but he is sometimes seen as the good one, like he is doing good in school and he recently got engaged, I mean what else is needed from a prince.'

The last part he said with a sarcastic tone, or with a loaded sadness in there.

      'Good eating and walking manners' I joked and he took the couch pillow next to him and threw it at my face. as it was so unexpected it was a proper hit and I screamed as a response.

    'Did you just throw my own pillow at my face?' I screamed again

He was laughing,

     'Yeah you deserved it, I am opening my heart and soul here and you answer with a joke.'

I laughed as well 'my deepest apologies your royal highness, please forgive me.'

     'Hmm I'm not sure maybe I'll remember this and when I become king I will arrest you and you'll be fed to my crocodiles.'

     'You are fucked up young prince' I laughed.

He also laughed out loud and it was really comfy.

     'Can I tell you a secret?' he then asked softly.
