It didn't look like he was all to eager to let me in, which in itself was quite suspicious.

'Can I come in?' I eventually asked after a moment of silence.

He hesitated, but eventually opened the door wider for me to come in.

'You want something to drink?' he asked me as I stepped inside his home.

     'No thank you.'

'I wanted to ask you whether you know where y/n is.'

Again another silence, my patience seemed to decrease by every minute that passed.

'Did she make a stop here?' I asked, now more irritated.

'Maria told me that she has informed you so I am pretty sure you already knew y/n did.'

For some reason his answer annoyed me even more. His answers very non informative and it made me realize I probably had to pull the information out of him.

     'Why did she come here?'

Taehyung sighed 'she needed a friend.'

    'I am her friend too'

'a friend that's not her boyfriend.' Taehyung specified while rolling his eyes. I guess it wasn't just me that was a little bit irritated at this point.

We both still didn't sit down but stood right there in the living room. For a moment I wondered where Maria was but my mind was too occupied with getting my answers. Any answer that could me lead to more information.

'Did she say where she was going?' I asked, perhaps it was better if I didn't ask for the content that y/n discussed with Taehyung. I mean I was dying to find out but on the other hand I'd rather ask her when we would see each other again.

Taehyung shook his head. There were no words that answered my question, just that shaking of his head.

I am not sure why but for some reason this was the last straw, the last point in which I could speak to him in a civil manner.

'WHY CAN'T YOU JUST FUCKING TELL ME? OR DO YOU WANT TO KEEP HER FOR YOURSELF?' I shouted angrily .

Taehyung tensed up and balled his hands into fists.

'Are you serious right now? Are you that insecure?' Taehyung growled out 'I want what is best for y/n, that's the only thing.' he replied bitterly.

'You know that I also want what's best for her!' I exclaimed, very offended.

'You might want what's best for her but your family surely doesn't.'

My family?

'What the hell is that supposed to mean?'

'no nevermind' he replied while looking away.

'look I know you want to protect her but I don't know why she left so suddenly and I can't find her and it's driving me crazy. What if she is alone somewhere, I don't want her to be by herself when she is already having a hard time. I mean with all the media stuff. I also know the ball might have been too much, the people whispering behind her back and so forth.'

      'It's not about that.'

'It's about my family?' I asked and Taehyung nodded.

'Can you please tell me?' it was as if I almost begged and I couldn't care. I needed the answers, I needed to know what or who drove her away.

Taehyung sighed deeply

'Your father had a conversation with her.'

      'What?'

He shrugged without really answering

'What do you mean?' I repeated more elaborately.

'That's what she said, like eventually. She first didn't say anything, she was only crying and telling me that it was too much. I tried to calm her down because I didn't truly understand. but then she said something " all the things the king said to me.."'

Anger stirred within me. He drove her away.. again.. He had acted so innocently the past few days that I had no suspicion that he might be involved in any way.

Taehyung stared outside the window and sighed 'I've never seen her that upset before.'

I glared at him, my heart dropped at what he just revealed. I could see y/n sitting at this table, crying her eyes out.

all because of me, or rather because of my father but he did it to get her away from me.

'Perhaps it's better if you give her time, and perhaps it's even better if you let her go.. because of all of this, with her parents and dealing with all the criticism in the media and from the people. It's too much. Especially if she also experiences this resistance to her presence within the palace walls.'

I shook my head 'no.. no, I love her.. she loves me...'

'Yes she does, but like this, it's slowly taking its toll on her.'

I let out a long sigh.

'Please just tell me where she went' I begged him.

He shook his head

'Why can't you tell me where she went?' I repeated with a raised voice.

'because I don't know where she went!' He let out with frustration.

It was obvious that he wasn't lying, and it dawned upon me that he really was kept out; she didn't even tell him. That is why he was so distant and annoyed compared to other times I met him. She also left him out.

     'I am sorry.' I said

'for what?' Taehyung looked at me confused.

'She is like your family but now she disappeared without you knowing and it's all my fault.'

Taehyung's eyes finally softened

'It's not. I mean it's not your fault. but I can't say the same for your father. I know y/n, and she will be fine. I mean she is devastated and broken hearted but I know she is safe somewhere with bono. I just wished I could visit her for support.'

'Thank you, and I appreciate your advice before but I can't let her go, not now, not like this. If in time she gets bored or sick of me then yes, but not when someone else tells her to.'

A little smile appeared on taehyung's face

'I can't deny that I am happy you two met. You clearly love her and she deserves someone like you but sometimes I really wished you weren't a prince because it would have been so much easier. '

I also faintly smiled 'yes me too'

I looked back at the door

'I think I will make my leave now. I have a family member to talk to.'

'alright, and I will let you know if she contacts me. I guess she should tell you in person what happened, and being alone somewhere when there are people here that love her isn't the best solution either.'

     'Thank you Taehyung.'

I walked out of his place and headed towards the car. Although I still had no clue where y/n was, I at least knew why she had left so suddenly.

It was my father who had chased her away.

I arrived back home and Seokjin informed me we had a family dinner. I immediately rushed towards the dining room as that would in this case be the place where I would find my father. All six eyes looked my way as I stormed in.

'Any news on y/n?' My father asked innocently and my blood started to boil already.

This two faced conmen.

    'You tell me' I answered

     'What?'

'I know that you talked to her at the ball'

My mother looked at my father 'honey, what is he talking about?'

My father put down his fork. He looked at his plate guiltily.

'I did talk to her, yes.'

'I will never forgive you if she leaves me over this.' I exclaimed with a raised voice.

    'please Jungkook compose yourself'

I slammed my fist on the table

'No, I am done with that. I thought you started to accept her and now you told a girl, who is already going through a lot, to leave?'

     'Jungkook'

There seemed to be something that he was hiding. He didn't look angry but rather upset or hurt.

'What? Don't think that I will give up so easily. just because you don't like her.'

'It's not that' father exclaimed and all our eyes turned to him.

All surprised and confused at the same time.

'What do you mean? WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO IT THEN?'

Father looked down defeated.

'I think you should tell us all father, what happened before your conversation with y/n' Yeonjun stared down at his plate, it was obvious he also knew something.

'What?' We all asked at the same time.

And Father was having the biggest shock on his face.
