I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later. I got in and I was stopped by someone.

"Reservation?" The blonde lady asked

"Uh, no. I was asked to meet up with someone here"

"Name please?" she asked

"Belle, Annabelle Vaughn" I said as she scanned her pad.

She looked at me and smiled
"Right this way Miss Vaughn, Mr Cooper is waiting for you" she said and made her way inside

I followed her, right behind. She stopped at a table where a man sat. I couldn't see if it was Nick cause his back was to me.

"Thank you" I smiled at her as she left. I moved forward a little and looked at the man.

It was Nick.

He looked up and stood up.
"Annabelle, so glad you could make it" he said

"It's fine" I sat down and he did the same

Okay, he is a gentleman. But that doesn't mean I like him.

"Hope the place wasn't hard for you to find?" He asked

"No, wasn't a problem" I said

He smiled and placed his hands on the table

"So, you wanted to meet up?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to talk to you and apologize"

"For what?" I asked, even though I knew

"For thinking you were with Matt for his money" he said

"Why would you think I'm with Matt for his money?" I asked

"Every girl he's dated has been with him for his money. I didn't think you'll be any different" he said calmly

"My mum's sick and in the hospital. Yes. That would not make me be with Matt for his money. So I'll tell you again. I'm not with him for his money. You can start minding your business and leave mine and Matt's alone" I was getting angry "Cause he wouldn't like you poking in our business. He wouldn't even believe you if you told him cause he trusts me that much" I got up and took my bag

"The truth always comes out" He smiled

What the heck was he talking about? What truth?

"Matt doesn't need this from you. To know that he loves me, that is everything to me and I wouldn't let you put that idea in his head. He trusts me, and it wouldn't even cross his mind that I'm with him for his money, even though you think I am, but I am not" with that I walked out of the restaurant.

I was boiling with fury and Kat would know what to do to calm me down, so I drove off to Kat's.

Nick's POV

I smiled after she walked out. That was all I needed. I thought it was gonna be hard getting her to talk but she just kept on rambling about how she loved him and how he loved her and trusted her.

She messed up my sister by being together with Matt, I'm gonna give her a piece of her own medicine.

Let's see if Matt trusts her as much as she says he does. I watched her get into her car.

I picked up my phone.

"Follow her" I said "Don't call back without the pictures" I hung up and left the restaurant

Anna's POV

I parked the car in front of Kat's. Locked the car and made my way inside.

"Anna?" I heard someone call my name before I could make it inside

I turned round and saw who it was.

"Jason?" I smiled and hugged him "What are you doing here?"

Jason was from my English class. We became fast friends since day one when he bumped into me trying to rush into the class. Since then, we hung out together and did assignments or went for lunch together in cafes near school.

"I live not to far from here and I work at a bar three blocks from here" he said "What about you?"

"I live kinda far from here, I came to see my friend Kat" I said

"Kat" he looked at the sign hung on Kat's cafe. "As in Kat's"

"Yea" I smiled at his facial expression "She owns the place"

"The cute girl with pretty emerald eyes and long blonde hair kinda petite" he said

Looks who's whipped? Wow! How long did he stare at her?

"Yea" I said smiling inwardly

I was so gonna hook them up

"Wow! She's beautiful, mayb..." his phone rang. He looked at the caller's I'd "I have to go" he looked at me "Gonna be late"

"Sure. No problem" I smiled

"See you at school" he hugged me and ran off

"Bye" I called after him.

He waved his hands as he kept running. I entered Kat's and heard someone yell

Not hard to guess who!

I looked and smiled at her. She got out from behind the counter an made her way to me. She had a big smile plastered on her face as she gave me a big hug.

I missed her so much.

"Hey" I said letting her go

"Hey, what are you doing here?" She asked

"I came to see you. Needed to calm my head down. But I guess after I talked to Jason, I forgot my problem" I told her as she pulled me into a corner of the cafe near the window and sat opposite from me

"Jason?" She asked

"Yea, the guy who left a while before I walked in" I said

"The guy you were talking to outside?" She asked "The one that had brown hair, green eyes and a killer smile"

The door was glass so that explains how she saw me.

Woah-ohh. Where did that come from. She was smitten by him. Aww. I'm so hooking them up.

"Yes" I smiled "You know, he said the exact same thing about you"

I could have sworn her cheeks turned pink. I've never seen Kat blush over a guy.

A baby, yes.

A puppy, yes.

A romantic scene, yes.

A guy, never!

She tried to cover it up
"So why did you need to calm your head?"She asked

"Nick wanted to meet up"

She had a shocked and confusing expression on her face.

"Nick?" She asked "The same guy who hates you for being with Matt. The one that works with Matt?"

"The one and only" I said

"Does Matt know about it?" She asked

"Matt was the one who called to tell me that he wanted to apologize"

"Did he?" She looked curious

My curious little Kat.

I just hope curiosity doesn't kill 'this' Kat.

"Oh, he was miles away from apologizing" I got angry just thinking about it. I told Kat what happened

"You should tell Matt" she suggested

"No way. Even though Matt pretends not to care that his best friend hates the girl he loves. I know it hurts him a little that we aren't getting along, so I'm just gonna let it pass" I sighed

She nodded

We talked for a while longer. She asked about the surprise visit to his parents. I asked how she knew and she just said 'Elsa'

I got home late.

"Matt?" I called as I entered the house.

No answer.

I walked into the parlour and passed the kitchen.

"Matt?" I was about climbing the stairs when someone grabbed me from behind.

"Hhaaa" I screamed. I closed me eyes trying to get the energy to fight off the intruder. I felt my back against the wall and screamed louder.

"Can you scream any louder?" I heard the intruder say

Wait! Why does the I intruder sound like Matt.

I opened my eyes and saw Matt's cringed face. I stopped screaming and calmed down. His smiled at me. I sighed deeply.

"Scream much?" He huffed

"Sneak-up much?" I was still edgy

"Sure you don't wanna join the scream queens?" He asked

"Sure you don't want to break in and entering?" I asked

He laughed.

I hit his chest
"It's not funny. You almost gave me an heart attack"

"Your expression was priceless" he rested on the wall and laughed even louder.

I walked out and went up the stairs into my room.

I took my clothes off and went into the shower. I closed my eyes and let my thoughts flow with the water. I tried to clear my mind and forget what happened with Nick today.

I switched the water off and went out of the shower to take my towel but it wasn't there.

"Looking for this?" I looked and saw Matt holding my towel resting on the closed bathroom door.

I covered my breasts with my left hand and my crotch with my right palm.
"Give it back!"

I saw his eyes run all over me and watched his eyes darken.

Yea, I still have that effect on him

"I've seen it all, there's no need to cover it up" he said and moved towards me

"You don't need to tell me that now" my heart was beating fast with every step he took closer to me.

I'm like, hello people. I'm standing naked in front of a man who can do 'it' like a pro.

He was now standing in front of me with my towel behind him.
"Why? Are you getting wet?" He asked

Oh yes I was.

I parted my mouth just an inch to breathe better.

"Yes I am, that's why I need my towel to dry up" I pretended like I didn't know what he meant

He had a smirk in his face.
"The only thing that can dry you up is a part of me inside you"

My heart pounded. My pulse throbed. I swallowed hard and licked my upper lip and bit my lower. His eyes followed the movement, then I saw him swallow to.

Two can play this game.

I didn't want to do this. But he's making me do it.

I sighed inwardly and slowly let my hands drop away from my body.

His gaze widened at my action as his eyes ran up and down my naked body. Before he could look at me again, I walked pass him to the bathroom door. As I opened the door, I felt his strong arm grab my waist as he jerked me to his body and he crushed his lips on mine in a hot passionate kiss.

I moaned his name and he groaned. I felt the towel drop at my feet and his hand went to my ass as he lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around him and he rested me on the wall.

I was now between two hard rock surface with his 'you-know-what' poking down there.

I kissed him back with everything in me. My tongue darted in and out of his mouth which earned me a growl not a groan. We moved in sync.

Before I knew it. My back rested on a soft surface. We stopped the kiss as we stared at each other for a few seconds. I unbuttoned his shirt while he unbuckled his belt.

We began kissing again, I arched my back to feel his naked chest on mine.

"Mattt..." I moaned

On Monday, during lunch hour. Jason and I went to our usual place. We ordered our usual as well and began talking about class before he diverted to Kat.

"She's nice" he said

"She's amazing. I can't believe I've had her this long. She's like the sister I never had" I smiled thinking about her sense of humour

"How long have you guys know each other?"

"Hmm, since we were kids. We went to the same high school and college but I knew her since we were in diapers"

He looked distracted

"What?" I asked

"I think that man just took our photo" he was looking outside the window. I followed his gaze and saw a man with a camera.

He looked right at me and turned away and took someone or something else's picture.

"Maybe he's just a photographer who likes the view and setting of this place" I smiled

He shrugged and looked at me
"So, do you think she could hang out with me tonight?"

I smiled
"We'll see"

Nick's POV

"I told you not to call me" I snapped at him

"I got it" he said

"You should have said so" I softened "Meet me at our spot in five" I hung up and smirked

This was gonna be fun. He got the pictures earlier than I expected. I thought it was gonna take forever to get them.

But the earlier the better.

Sorry Matt, but I just have to do this.

I laughed.
