Yesterday I told Kat that I wouldn't be coming to work cause Matt's sister is arriving today. So after I jogged, I showered and called Jim to tell him I was gonna take the day off.
He asked if something was wrong and I told him I had an important meeting.

Technically, it wasn't a lie. I did have a meeting...with Elsa; Matt's sister.

After the call, I went back to bed and slept in.

After what felt like days, I finally woke. I shifted on the bed and placed my arm across my eyes to prevent the light from hitting my eyes directly. I turned away from the curtain and stayed still for a moment before I finally opened my eyes.

Matt sat on the couch in the room staring at me.

"What are you doing?"

"Watching you sleep"

"For how long?"

"Two, three hours"

"You're kidding, right?"

"No" he said seriously

"You're just watching me sleep...for three hours?"

"It's fun" he smiled

"Only a stalker would say that"

He became sober. He got up and came towards me.
"Did you just call me a stalker?"

"Did I?" He was closer now "I'm sure I meant to say something else"

"Like?" He climbed the bed and put his hands and legs on either side of me.

"Like...ugh...you know...ugh..." I was smiling

He smiled "Time's up"

"What?" I was the sober one now

He put his hands on the sides of my waist and tickled me

"Matt?!" I shrieked aloud laughing

"Stalker uhn?" He continued tickling me

"Matt please stop" I was laughing and moving from side to side to make him stop. Tears were running down the edges of my eyes.

Happy tears.

He stopped tickling me and smiled a little
"Am I a stalker?"

I grinned and slowly nodded my head.

He made a dramatic sigh "You asked for it" he began tickling me again

"Okay, you're not" I was laughing so hard "You're not"

He stopped and laughed
"Thank you Miss Vaughn"

I scoffed with a little hint of smile still playing on my face and lips.

He was sober after a moment and so was I.

I knew what was coming and I was expecting it so bad.

"Matt..." I whispered before he crashed his lips with mine.

It was deep and passionate. He tilted his head to the side to get more access to my mouth. He bit my lips and I moaned. He groaned and went to my neck. My hands went to his back as he kissed my neck.

"Matt" I moaned his name without meaning to.

He stopped and looked into my eyes.
"If you do that one more time, I won't be able to stop till the end"

I put my hand behind his neck and pulled him down to me and initiated the kiss for the first time. He kissed my neck at my sensitive spot again.

"Mattt..." I moaned

"Shit Anna, you're gonna be the death of me"

"Please don't stop" he kept on kissing my neck and went down to my collar bone then down to my...

Ding Dong!

We both paused. He looked at me.

"Elsa" he said getting up

"How long did I sleep?"

"It's past eleven Anna"

"Shoot" I scrambled out of bed

Matt looked at me. Well more like checked me out.

"What?"

"You look beautiful"

I smiled
"Thanks"

He smiled back

"Lets go meet your sister" I said

"Like that?"

"Like what?"

"In PJ's?"

"Yea, so?"

"Most girls would hire an entire make up artist and buy dozens of designer clothes to meet their boyfriend's sister and you want to meet her in PJ's, sexy bed hair and a face that says 'I almost made love with your brother'" I was blushing hard

"Well like my boyfriend once said, I'm different, other girls aren't me and I'm not other girls"

He smiled

"Yea, he's the best"

He leaned in and kissed me slowly and softly unlike the last ones we just had.

"Lets go meet my sister" he held my hand and I followed him downstairs.

We went to the door together, Matt opened the door.

In entered a beautiful blonde, petite and pretty. A small oval face with long blonde hair. She had the biggest smile on her face when Matt opened the door.

"Matt" she jump on him. He lifted her and twirled her

"Hey you" he said putting her down

"I missed you soo much"

"Soo much that you couldn't call?"

"I've been busy"

"I heard" He looked at me "Anna?" He held out his hand to me

I went to him and looked at Elsa

"You must be Elsa" I smiled scared to death that she might not like me

"And you must be 'The Anna'" she smiled

"The Anna?" I asked confused

"Yea, the Anna my brother can't stop talking about. It's Anna this, Anna that"

"Oh" I looked at Matt who was smiling at me

"My God, its nice to finally meet you" she gave me an unexpected hug. I hugged her back.

"Yea, me too. He talked about you a lot"

"Nah, impossible" we moved to the sitting room

"He said you work at a fashion company"

"Yea, I do. It's not as easy as it looks. Looks could be deceiving" she said silently like people were gonna hear her

"How's work anyway?" Matt asked her

"It's okay. Gotta work to earn a living, no other option" she said to Matt

She looked at me "So tell me more about you Anna"

"Hum, really not much to tell" I smiled

"I'm sure there is. Matt told me about your parents, I'm sorry"

"It's fine, still trying to get used to it though. Its not easy letting go of something that has been in your life for a long time"

"How's your mum?"

"The same" Matt squeezed my hand "Haven't seen her for while. I'm scared of seeing her in the same position as she was the last time I saw her. I'm just waiting for the doctor's call"

"Everything's gonna be okay, alright?" Elsa said

I nodded "Thanks"

Matt's POV

I watched her as she talked to my sister about her parents. She still hasn't gotten over it. Who could blame her? She loved them so much. I see that every time she talks about them.

Ring Ring!

"Oh that's my phone" Anna said "Excuse me" she said

"Sure" Elsa said

Anna went to take her call.

"So?" Elsa asked

"So what?"

"Tell me. You never tell your women about me, why her?"

A moment passed
"I love her"

"I figured. Just wanted to hear you say it. Didn't think you were man enough"

I scoffed and smiled

"Does she know?"

"Yea. I told her two days ago"

"And?"

"She's still deciding on how she feels about me. After what happened to her parents, it seems she's never been close to anyone except Kat; her friend/sister. Being this close to me terrifies her. So I'm gonna give her all the time in the world to figure it out. I know she loves me but she just hasn't admitted it to herself"

"You'll be stupid not to. She's different from all your other women"

"I know. That's one reason why I love her"

"...I'll talk to you later...okay, bye" Anna hung up and came back to join us.

"Sorry about that" she sat next to me

"Kat?" I asked her

"Yea" she smiled at me.

She looked at Elsa
"So what's your job like?"

"Ugh" Elsa rested on the couch "Stressful, Tiring, Time consuming but Fun. I love it" she smiled "What about you?"

"What about me?" Anna was smiling

"School" Elsa said

Anna became sober for a moment
"Uhn, I plan on going back when my mum's getting better. I had to take a break after the accident"

"Oh, but I thought Matt would help you with that"

"Hmm, I...Haaa..."

Ring Ring!

"Sorry, that's mine" Elsa fished her phone from her bag "Work, excuse me...Hello...oh...when...no...it's okay...I'm on my way" she hung up "Fashion problem, gotta go"

"Thought today was your day off?" I asked her

"Yea, but my partner called in sick so I have to cover for him" she got up

"Okay" Anna and I got up and saw her to the door

"Anna I would love to have a drink with you sometime" Elsa said

"I'd love that too" Anna said

"I'll call you on where to meet"

"Sure." she hugged me and I hugged her back "It was nice meeting you"

"Same here. Bye"

"Bye"

"I'll see her out" I told Anna and followed Elsa out

Anna's POV

God.

The question that I avoided all my life came back to bite me.

What about school?
Are you done with school?
Have you graduated?

Anything relating to school I dreaded. I wanted to go back to school and finish but I didn't have the time or the money. I envied people like Elsa who had graduated and already have a job.

I went to my room and willed my tears to go. But it came anyway.

"Anna?" I heard Matt calling me "Anna?" He opened my room door "I was looking for you"

He came towards me and I tried to avoid his gaze.

"Your sister's nice"

"I told you she was gonna like you"

"Yea, she's happy with her job"

"Anna?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you crying?" He sat on my bed

"Noo, why should I?" My head was still bent down and my hair fell around my face

"Don't lie to me Anna" he tucked my hair behind my ear then put his fingers under my chin. He lifted my face to his.

Our eyes met. I sniffed, tears running down my face.

He moved closer to me and pulled me in his arms
"What is wrong Anna?"

"Your sister's happy with a job and a degree, and I'm still here without either. I envy her. She got to finish school. I want to but I can't"

"Why can't you?"

"I have my mum to look after and bills to pay. I would've had more bills to pay if you hadn't taken care of my mum's"

"What if I took care of all the bills and made sure your mum was looked after, would you go back to school?"

"No, I wouldn't let you do that for me. It's too much."

"Anna, I'm gonna tie you to the bed and tickle you endlessly until you agree. So what's it gonna be?"

I sat up and looked at him. I placed my hand on his cheek.
"You've done so much for me already. I can't let you do anymore"

He looked at me silently
"What if I give it to you on a loan?"

"I'm not following"

"What if I lend you the money and when you finish school, you get a job and you pay me back"

"Hum...maybe"

He smiled "Then it's settled. You're going back to school"

I smiled at the man I admired and cared for soo much.
