When Jamila woke up her eyes were puffy and she sounded sick. Mikah fist were swollen but I didn't question him.

"Here." I said handing Jamila an ice pack.

She put it on her eye and laid down. I place an ice pack on Mikah fist and walked out the room. I went into the kitchen and saw Cameron sitting on a stool drinking.

"Soooo..." he said

"So what?" I asked

"I don't know." He said

"You drunk?" I asked

"A little." He said

"Well don't get too drunk." I said

I got two bottles of water from the fridge. When I turned he was standing right behind me.

"Where you going?" He asked

"I'm taking our siblings water." I said

"You always worrying about them. Worry about me sometimes. I feel neglected." He said

"Cam you're 21." I said laughing

"But I'm your boyfriend." He said

"Okay once I give them their water I'll come and worry about you." I said

He smiled drunkly and I shook my head. I went and gave the kids their water and went back downstairs. He was laying on the couch and I sat on a chair beside him.

"Coommmmmeee heeeerrrrreee." He said

I walked over to his couch and laid down. He wrapped his arms around me tight. He started rubbing my thigh which made me sleepy.

"Your hair smell like cinnamon." He said behind me.

"Stop sniffing me." I said laughing.

"You smell good." He said

"Thank you." I said

"You welcome. So you single or you got a man?" He asked

I turned to him and he was looking at me half asleep.

"Imma let you sleep." I said

"I guess you taken. Well imma leave you alone." He said

He actually got off the couch and walked up the stairs. Then he turned around and walked slowly back to me. He started to take his shirt off and threw it on the ground. He stood over me and looked down.

"Listen fuck ya man. You beautiful as fuck. He ain't shit cause he wouldn't have left you here all alone." He said

"Cam lay down." I said

"Oh I'll lay it down alright." He said

"No boy." I said

"You scared yo man gone find out?" He asked

"You are my man." I said

"Bout damn time girl." He said not slurring anymore

"You ain't drunk?" I asked

"No I just wanted to hear you tell me I was your man." He said

"Childish." I said laughing.

He walked around the couch and sat beside me.

"But you want this childish man." He said

"You half right." I said

"Half?" He asked

I just nod and he look at me.

"You a boy not a man." I said

"I'm all man boo boo." He said

"No baby just no." I said

Me and him laughed.

Next Day

"Miya?" I heard.

I turned and saw Jamila and Mikah standing at the door of my room.

"Yeah?" I asked

"Can we stay home today?" Jamila asked

"Yeah." I said

They walked away and I turned back to the mirror. Am I turning into a mom?

Cameron

"You know that lil nigga Mikah beat up?" Ice asked

"Yeah." I said

"Guess who told him to do that?" He asked

"Who?" I said

"Wayne." He said

"How you know?" I asked

"My cousin lil niko stay on the same block. He said he saw Wayne come by a couple times. After Mikah beat ol dude up Wayne ain't ever came back." He said

"So what you gone do?" Mario asked

"Do what I did last time." I said

"Nah you need to do something that'll show him you ain't playing. You fucked him up at the mall and he still trying it." Ice said

"Like what?" I asked

"Burn him." Mario said

"Your Mexican ass would want some burnt flesh." Ice said

"Get that girl you was fucking with to fuck him. Don't she got HIV?" Mario asked

"Now what the hell is that gone do?" Ice said

"Look he wanna fuck Kamiya cause she young, thick beau-" I cut him off

"Aye ." I said

"Or you could shoot the middle of his back and paralyze him for life." Ice said

"Richlyn ain't talkin to me and I damn sure ain't bout to talk to her. But I could paralyze him." I said

"You could do both." Mario said

"I don't wanna std." Mario said

"Then shut yo ass up." Ice said

"Imma think this over and I'll holla at y'all." I said standing

"You leaving?" Mario asked

"Yeah gotta wife at home." I told them.

"Wife? Tryna be all unniggerish and shit." Ice said

"You keep coming up with those imaginary words gone get you put in a hospital." I said walking out.

I walked to my truck and began to drive home.

Kamiya👸🏽- Can you stop by the store and get pain medicine?

Cameron- Yeah

I put my phone down and sit it on the side. I pull up to Walgreens and get out.

I search the shelves for pain medication. I don't know which one to get so I get Advil, ibuprofen and Tylenol.

"Hey handsome." I hear

I look up and see Kayla standing with a deep smile.

"Wassup?" I said about to leave the isle.

"Wait what's the rush?" She asked

"Don't worry about it. Why you touching?" I asked pushing her hand off my arm.

"Listen Cam you were my first love and I'll always have love for you." She said

"Okay? Why you tellin me that?" I asked

"You maybe wanna hook up?" She asked

"Ain't you married?" I asked

"Fuck him, let's have fun. We're both too young to be tied down." She said

"Nah me and my girl straight." I said

"She 18 Cameron." She said

"And? Yo nigga 38 he should be in jail." I said walking away

"You know what? I was wrong we can meet at your house." I said

"Really?! I'll text you my address." She said

I shake my head.

She still a dumb bitch.
