"Ezra, get out now!! My dad is gonna be home any minute and you're not Hailey!" I shouted, pushing him out of the kitchen.

His brows furrowed, confusion being crystal clear. "What? Why would I be Hailey?"

"Because, I'm not allowed to have guys over without my dad supervising so I lied and said you were Hailey." I shrugged, like it was nothing.

He smirked, "Oh, so you snuck out to go to my party and you lied to your dad? I didn't know you were such a rebel. I like it."

"I'm not a rebel." I argued, rolling my eyes at the ridiculous statement.

"Whatever you say, cupcake. Speaking of food, I didn't even get to eat any of my salad."

"Get some and go!" I exclaimed, shoving him towards my front door.

"I had fun tonight. See you at school tomorrow."

Just when I thought he was gone, he turned around and smiled.

"Kylie, Austen is an idiot. You're too beautiful to be cheated on. If you were mine, I wouldn't let you slip away." And then he walked out of my house, leaving me dumbfounded.

Did Ezra just call me beautiful? Nah. Probably just another one of his playboy moves. No way he actually meant it.

"Hey dad. How was work?" I asked, kissing him on the cheek.

"It was work. Nothing fun happened." He replied, walking towards the kitchen. "Where's this delicious salad you and Hailey made?"

"I put it in the fridge. I'm going to bed, I'm tired. Love you. Goodnight."

"Love you too. Goodnight."

When I entered my room, I plopped down on my warm inviting bed. Just when I started to relax, my phone chimed. I let out a loud groan and walked towards my dresser. When I picked up my phone and saw the message, my eyes widened and my mouth dropped.

From: The Cheater

'So I heard you and Ezra are interviewing me for your little project... This should be interesting! ;)'

I seriously hate him.

'Ezra is interviewing you. Not me. Delete my number.'

'No. I'm good.'

We went on and on arguing over the stupidest things. I finally got tired of it and just turned off my phone.

I got out my iPod and went to music. I went to my playlist and hit shuffle. The last song I heard was "Fix You" by Coldplay before I drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

The next morning, I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. I dragged myself to my en-suite and looked in the mirror. I was horrified by my reflection. My hair looks like a rats nest and my face has marks on it from my pillow. I turned on the shower and while I waited on the water to heat up, I turned on my phone to check my Facebook and Instagram.

I didn't have any new notifications on Facebook but I did have three follow requests and five likes on Instagram.

John Hemings....... Ewwww. No. You look like a creep.

Luke Walters........ Ooooo. You're cute. Accept.

Ezra Johnson....... Wait what?!? I didn't even know he was on any social sites. I debated with myself back and forth until I finally decided to let him follow me and I followed him back.

I stepped into the shower and was instantly relaxed. The warm water traveled all over my body. I washed and rinsed my hair and washed my body with coconut scented body wash. This stuff smells amazing!

I hopped out of the shower and brushed my teeth. After that, I blow dried and straightened my long brown hair. I added some base and powder to my pale skin. I applied two coats of mascara making my eyelashes reach my eyebrows. I've been told I have really pretty eyes and long eyelashes. I decided to just add a little eyeliner to my waterline to enhance my green eyes. After my hair and makeup was done, I walked to my closet. Since I love clothes, my dad made sure I got a room with a walk in closet which I'm very thankful for. I looked through my skirts and decided I'm just not up to wearin' a skirt today. I made my way to the blue jeans section of my closet and chose a pair of distressed skinny jeans and a light blue piko shirt. These shirts are so comfortable. If I could, I would wear one everyday. I paired it with a dark blue lace scarf and since it was a little chilly out this morning, I slipped on some knee length black UGGs. I wanted to get to school early this morning so I ran down stairs and grabbed a cookies and creme pop tart. My favorite. I jumped into my truck and drove to Brooklyn's house.

"Hey Boo. Where's Cody?" I greeted Brooklyn as she sat in the passenger side of my truck.

Cody never misses school. He's known for his perfect attendance. Even when he had the flu, he didn't miss.

"He's in the shower. My mom made him study for his History test this morning so he's running a little late."

"Oh, okay."

Their mom knows Cody is smart and they won't let him slip. If he gets below a ninety three, she flips out. I'm lucky if I get a ninety.

"Hey, guess who sent me a following request on Instagram this morning...."

"Just tell me. You know I'm not good at guessing."

I giggled. She's right. She's horrible at guessing.

"Ezra...."

"Wait, you mean Ezra Johnson.... The one who ran into you and bruised your wrist? Austen's new bestfriend?"

"That's the guy." I replied, averting my gaze to Cody who was walking towards my truck.

"Wow. What did you do? Did you let him follow him? Did you follow him back?" She asked curiously.

"Yes and yes." I replied, as her brother stepped into my truck.

I gotta admit, he's lookin' pretty good this morning. He's wearing a black fitted Hollister shirt with ripped jeans and some black Jordan's. His hair is spiked up in the front.

"You're lookin' good Cody." I smirked, glancing at him.

His cheeks were burning red. I know I shouldn't mess with him, but it's so much fun.

He shyly replied, "Thanks."

"You really should stop messing with him. You're gonna make him think you like him back." Brooklyn whispered to me so we were the only ones that could hear.

"I know but it's just so much fun. His face turns as red as a stop sign." I giggled, causing her to burst out laughing.

"What are guys laughing at?" Cody questioned.

"Nothing." We replied in unison, causing us to laugh even more.

"Y'all are weird."

When we got to school, I got a message from Drake.

From: Him

'Remember our date tonight. Dress nice! ;)'

Ohh crap! I forgot all about that.

'See you tonight. ;)' I replied, shoving my phone into my pocket.

"Hey Brooklyn, I need you to do my hair and makeup for my date tonight."

"Oh yeah I forgot about that. We are gonna make you look like a freakin' super model." She winked, bumping our hips together.

"I sure hope so."

I'm so nervous for tonight.

The bell rang, indicating we have two minutes until first period begins.

"We better go before we're late." Brooklyn stated.

"Alright. Off to the hell whole we call class!" I stated, skipping arm in arm with Brooklyn.

"Bye Cody!" We both yelled, causing a few people to stare.

It's currently eighth period and I am beyond nervous! All I can think about is my date with Drake. This is like a dream come true.

Ring Ring Ring.

The final bell rang and I rushed out of class towards my truck. When I got there, I noticed a figure standing beside it. Oh my gosh. I'm gonna get kidnapped.

"Hey Kylie. We need to go get you dolled up for your date." She smiled, hopping into the passenger side seat.

"You scared me to death! I thought I was gonna end up on the news for getting kidnapped by some freak!" I exclaimed, punching her shoulder slightly.

"You're too paranoid."

"Nope. I'm just aware of who is out in our crazy world."

"Whatever. Let's go!"

I drove off to my house thinking of all the possible ways my date could go bad. I don't think I'm ready for this.
