"Oh, no!" The woman shrieked. "No, this is all wrong!"

"Mom," Michael rested his hands on his exhausted moms' shoulders. "Calm down."

It was three days before the wedding, and Rosie decided the day before to book the reception hall online, based on the gorgeous pictures.

Let's just say, when we got here, it was nothing like the pictures. In them, it showed luscious green gardens, a fairly large dining area with tables dotting the outskirts, and a nice sized dance floor plastered square in the middle. When we got here, it looked close to the pictures. So close, it would've done just fine. But Johanna found a quirk, and boy, she threw a fit.

I thought that was the brides job.

The grass was green. A little short, but it was there. The tables were placed correctly, even though they were square shaped instead of a traditional round one. And the dance floor? Hah. What dance floor?

"But--but, I..." She started, her lip quivering the slightest bit.

"Mom, we could always just use our backyard as a reception hall." Michael spoke softly to her, comforting her until she was calm again. She began to zone out, probably over thinking what she was just told. Her face lit up, scrambling out of his arms and over to the man who owned the place we were in.

It was sweet; the way that Michael spoke to his mom. He always spoke in a soft tone, as if she were to break if he spoke any louder. He absolutely adored her; you could tell by the way that he smiles whenever she's mentioned in a conversation, that he loves his mommy.

He smiled, watching her as she trotted away, babbling on and on about the event coming up.

"Michael," I spoke up, getting his attention. I waved him over to me. He obeyed, shuffling over to me. "April!" I called out. Her head turned in my direction, her curls bouncing from the movement of her head. She ran over to me, wrapping her arms around my legs. Michael stared down at her, a small smile appearing on his face. "Michael, meet April. Your new sister in law."

She grinned up at him, "Gruncle Mikah!"

After an hour of being tired out by my sister, Michael and I took a seat at a table.

"So," he drawled out, playing with his fingers. "We never really got to know each other."

I rolled my eyes.

"Want to play twenty questions?" he looked curiously at me.

"Uhm," I started, "sure. You first."

"Okay. Birthday?" he asked.

"November 1st." I nodded once. "You?"

"June 28th." He responded cooly. "Uh, hobbies?"

I shrugged. "Painting, I guess?"

**********

After three games of twenty questions, I learned that his favorite color is blue, he plays baseball, football, and soccer, he loves kids, his hobbies are to play sports and "get the girls" -his words not mine- and I mainly learned stuff that is relatively similar to that.

This Sunday will be very stressful.
