Nathaniel had arrived for the meeting.

"Beta Nathaniel." Tyler nodded acknowledging his presence.

"Alpha Tyler, Beta Aidan."

"I'm not going to beat around the bush as we need to make decisions relatively quickly. Alpha Byron has been killed."

Beta Nathaniel looked stunned.

"When did this happen? I didn't even see him during the battle? God knows I tried to find him."

"He found me and well lets say he has now been disposed of. I wish to discuss the probability of your return back to the Crescent Moon Pack as Alpha?"

Silence.

Beta Nathaniel was in deep thought.

"So what do you say?"

"I, I never thought myself an Alpha, but I would be willing to do this to save the future of the Crescent Moon pack."

"Beta Nathaniel, you have my full support and I will assist you the entire way. Lets gather everyone including prisoners from your pack and explain that Alpha Byron is deceased. I believe all the pack members who fled would want to return home."

"And what if they don't?"

"They're welcome to remain in our pack but I feel we shouldn't give them the opportunity to doubt the Crescent Moon pack under your leadership. A meeting will be called at noon."

"Ok. ... Alpha Tyler?"

"Yes, Alpha Nathaniel."

"Thank you."

"My pleasure."

"Alpha Tyler, ... I have one more question?" He was hesitating.

"Sure. Fire away!" Tyler encouraged.

"My Uncle, was once the Beta of our pack, Beta Jackson. His death was said to be by the teeth of your Father, Alpha Dominik."

Tyler nodded.

"My Uncle was a good man, but he was tightly controlled by Alpha Nicholas who was Alpha Byron's Father. He died saving his own Alpha's life. I want to know is Hunter my cousin?"

Tyler nodded his head.

"Yes she is, but she has no idea about any of this right now."

Tyler took a breath in looking over at his Beta Aidan, then continued.

"She was promised to Alpha Byron once they managed to kill me off. Then Alpha Byron would gain our pack and a new Luna. How very convenient!"

"I thought as much. I was told her mother was pregnant when she left our pack but I was only 12 when it happened. It all makes perfect sense now. I would like to meet Hunter before I go, she is my only living blood relative."

"That won't be a problem. Her parents are still in the holding cells."

"What are you going to do with them?"

"I want Hunter involved in that decision so we can ensure both our packs safety against the hunters in the future."

"If you need me I will be there for you in any way. She was my Aunty if only for a short time. I now realise why she looked so familiar when I first saw her in our territory."

"We meet at noon in the square please inform those of the Crescent Moon Pack."

Both Alpha's shook hands and bid farewell until midday."
