"Daniel, she's waking up, her eyes are opening."

"Mmmmum, Dad?" It was only a whisper. She felt warmth around her hand, she looked down and she saw her Mother was holding it gently.

"Hey Gorgeous, you're finally awake?" Daniel her Dad kissed her forehead.

"Where am I?" Hunter asked taking in her surroundings. The walls were white, the floors were silver and the place was cold.

"You passed out and you're in a hospital." Her Mother replied.

"When did you guys get back? How long have I been here?"

"A few hours now. We got a call and we drove straight back." Her Mother raised her eyebrow.

"Sorry I spoilt your weekend away."

"Don't be silly. How are you feeling?" Her Mother was now stroking her cheek moving a stray hair off her face.

"Groggy and really tired."

"Rest sweetheart, rest, this will soon be all over."

She wasn't sure what her Mother meant by those words but she was way too out of it to question them right now. Hunter fell back asleep.
