Tyler just froze. He was unsure how the hell Alpha Byron had successfully managed to get so close to Hunter. He'd only just found her and wasn't going to give up until someone in the room would be dead by the time they finished. He was hoping it wouldn't be him.

"Alpha Byron, what a pleasure." Tyler cocked his head to the side sarcastically smiling.

"Alpha Tyler, been such a long time, has it not?" He smirked at Tyler.

Pleasantries were meaningless at this point but for two Alpha's it was a way of giving themselves time to put a plan in place to attack and kill.

"So what brings you here inside my bedroom?" Tyler's eyebrow was raised.

"Oh, I was looking at maybe making some changes to the colour scheme and decor it's a little woody for my liking." Cocky bastard Tyler thought.

"I'm surprised you're here. Your pack and friendly group of Hunters are either dead, captured or have fled. Why don't you do the same?"

"Oh I would, but there is one Hunter that's still here that I want." His voice became dark and low.

"SHE IS MINE!!!!." Tyler shifted into his wolf form as did Byron. They were trying to get a kill shot in but both were good fighters. They bit, nipped, pawed, pushed and pulled for almost an hour. Until finally Tyler pinned Byron down.

"Why?" He asked Byron.

"Because your stupid Father, killed my Father's Beta and that Beta was Hunter's father." Tyler was stunned in his daze Byron overpowered him and Tyler fell onto his back. "Hunter is a werewolf and was always promised to be in my pack once she changed. When my Luna died and we discovered she was your mate you had to be removed so she could take her rightful place in our pack as my Luna."

"Over my dead body." Tyler screamed.

"Easily arranged." Byron smirked.

The two were again embroiled in a fierce battle when suddenly Hunter came into Tyler's view. She was holding a gun which was loaded with silver bullets. Tyler had given it to her in case someone else opened her chamber. Tyler saw Hunter step closer to the two and with all his strength he pushed Byron onto the wall, Hunter quickly removed the safety and pulled the trigger instantly killing Alpha Byron.
