Charlotte ended all her chores, and she was about to take a time to relax.

She had prepared some snacks and drinks for her "romantic" movie night, Marvin was asleep, Victor in the studio, so she enjoyed the silence around her.

While the movie was playing, she began to question her life, she remembered her previous relationship with Victor, and then Sebastian.

That man, his thick brows, those lips, those eyes, his deep voice and everything about him send chills through her spine. But one thing was for sure; it seems that he forgot about her, she was capable to see him but always in company of Madeleine. 

Drowning in her thoughts, a pinch of jealousy appeared, maybe he didn't want her anymore. She hugged her knees, and tried to get away those feelings, jelousy and confusion; she need it in that moment peace, but her mind don't allowed it. The scene of a intense kiss made her thought in Sebastian's kiss, she missed his touch, and yet she had to do what she need it to, satisfy with her husband.

Her cellphone popped and she took it in her hands. She saw a notification and she realized that her period was late for two days... She hoped that it was just late.

Days passed by and she was feeling uneasy, she bought a pregnancy test and she waited a minute, and another second and the damn line didn't appeared. She looked at the sink, it was white and clean, a day before she cleaned intensely.

She bit her lip and saw that it was negative... but she had to be sure.

The woman at the phone was in an intense talk and then suddenly ended the call after she saw Charlotte.

"Sorry, Mrs. Griffin, but I had to attend"

The doctor said as she was trying to compose again, with her severe look and those glasses that fit perfectly on her. Taking a glance to her computer, she released Charlotte for her burden.

"You can be calm, you are not pregnant, the lack of period is not only for pregnancy, it can be for  many factors, stress, over exercise, now you can stop your period with a dosis of hormones. If your case is stress, I recommend you, to take a moment and relax, stress is a hard enemy and can kill you"

Charlotte smiled and thanked to the woman and left the place remembering the advice.

Now, a smiling Maddeleine waited for her.

"Charts hurry!! my ass is freezing!!"

"Well is almost winter" Charlotte smiled back to her and entered to Maddie's car.

"So, now we have to go and buy food"

Maddie said in a serious tone, Charlotte only nodded waiting Maddeleine continued talking.

"What are you going to cook?" Charlotte asked to Maddie after she observed how nervous she was.

"I have no idea, I bought a cooking book so I want to try" Charlotte laughed about her friend, and finally she reached the market.

Maddeleine walked in front of Charlotte and took every fruit that she liked. Charlotte grabbed an orange observing the perfection on the fruit.

"Can I ask you why this sudden desire to cook?" She really wanted to know, because Maddie was a mess in the kitchen. Maddie smiled to her after picking some tomatoes.

"I was scolded by Sebastian, he said to me that a beautiful woman like me, should take care of my beeauty, I told you, the guy is gay."

The jealousy after hearing Sebastian's name dissapeared quickly thanks to Maddie statement. Maddie was a bright person, and Charlotte really wished that she could be like Maddie, for the bottom of her heart.

"I'm home" Charlotte said out loud,  but there was no response. She looked the pile of mail on the little table. "Marvin, honey?"

"Oh, you came early!" Nina appeared with Marvin, smiling to Charlotte.

"Mommy, you back!" Marvin lifted his arms to his mother.

"Nina, you can go, thank you for today" 

"Okay, but do you feel bad or something? I mean look at the hour"

"Is fine, Maddie said that I need a free day"

Nina only nodded and stared at the floor, then she said with a really soft voice.

"Today is my birthday, but, I don't..."

"Cakeeeeee!" Marvin yelled after hearing Nina, and Charlotte laughed about it.

"Let me treat you then, let's go for lunch and then we look for a present and a cake, ok?"

The innocence in Nina's eyes was obvious, after she heard Charlotte's words and the warm smile that was the sweetest present to her.  They took their things and quickly went into a good restaurant to celebrate Nina's birthday.

"Charlotte" That voice called enchanting her ears, Sebastian was standing in front of them, with that seductive and relaxed smiled, dressed with a navy blue suit and a red tie, his hair was a little bit longer that Charlotte remembered.

"Sebastian, nice to see you" Actually was the truth, they haven't look each other because the busy agenda of him. He put his hand on Marvin head, movin the little's boy hair. "Oh dear, where are my manners; let me introduce you Nina, she is the one who help me to take care of Marvin"

"Nina, this is Sebastian, a good friend of mine, and Victor's boss."

"Sebastian Carmine, at your service miss"

"Hi, I... wow I'm Nina, I ..." Nina was really excited and nervous to meet one of the most famous business man.

"I have to go, have a nice day." 

Both women, were absolutely pleased with Sebastian's presence. Charlotte thanked to the heaven the opportunity to see him again, in the other side, Nina was happy to meet the man that she admired so much.

After a good meal, Charlotte bought some presents for Nina, and a train ticket so Nina could visit her mother in her hometown. Nina hugged Charlotte and Marvin, before entered to the train, and thanked with joy tears in her face. 

Charlotte say goodbye to her friend for a few days.

She opened the door of her house, and let Marvin went inside, it was around five of the afternoon and she let her purse at the floor.

"Daddy!" Marvin told out loud after he said Victor coming out from the studio, to see them. "Let's play"

"Later, little champ, I'm working." Victor carried his son on his arms and then smiled to Charlotte.

Charlotte took the mail and begun to see where they come from. Then she saw a blue envelope with Ericka's letter on it.

"Do you have a paper knife?" She showed the envelope to him waving it a little bit.

"Yes, is in the drawer on the desk, I go to the bathroom"

He dissapeared and she look for the papaer knife, she saw that Victor was working into something, but with a quick glance, she notice the tab with the description and a "V". Charlotte moved the cursor, and clicked to see the tab, and she read the fatal mail.

"Such a good news my love, my doubts dissapeared. We're going to have a baby!! I hope is a girl, so we can call her Victoria. I want to see you soon to celebrate.

Ps. I love you.

The words were like knifes stabing her chest and she hide the tab again, took the paper knife and tried to remain calm.

"Charlotte... Charlotte... hey, amm what is this?" Victor was showing her the pregnancy test, and she want him to scare him a little bit so she decided to tell barely the truth.

"Is a pregnancy test Vic..."

"I know but..."

"I'm late, but I want to be sure, so..."

"Ok" Victor smiled and gave her back the test, and she saw Marvin playing happily on the floor. She sat on the sofa, and exhaled deeply.

The blue envelope was the first to be opened, Charlotte show Marvin the invitation for a party, it was Ryan fourth birthday on a few days, and probably Valerie will be there.

"Honey, good news, we have a party to attend." Charlotte smiled brightly and evilly to Victor, who was going for something to drink, and only nodded.

"We have to buy a present, then."
