Metropolitan PD/ Detective Howard Locke/ AQ Case

September 30th 1992

Seven subjects were put in a death game this year. The bodies of six and a single survivor were discovered in an abandoned building in D.C. The building used to be a super market before it shut down. The conditions of this game were different than before. Two teams of three were asked to kill the seventh player in thirty minutes, or else bombs would detonate all over the building. The first two to successfully kill the seventh player would be spared. Like the game last year, all of the exits were boarded up from the outside.

We were able to talk to the sole survivor of this year to see if we could learn anything about AlfendQ. The survivor's name is Myra Fiskin. She was the one who managed to kill player seven. The interview with her revealed very little of the killer himself. She had no idea who AlfendQ was or why she was put into the death game. Her testimony revealed the following.

In the first ten minutes two teams decided to kill each other before someone killed the seventh player. Two were stabbed to death before a third killed the fourth with a pistol. Myra's partner in the death game then murdered the one with the pistol. Player seven got into a fist fight with Myra's partner whose neck was broken in the process. Myra then managed to grab the pistol and shoot player seven.

That is all we know of the situation. What we did discover was a camera network set up around the building. AlfendQ was watching from a locked room in the building. The locked room was used as a security room when the building was a supermarket. No DNA evidence discovered. The room was most likely wiped down. The same sedative was found in the bloodstream of all the players, suggesting the same method of set up. Nothing else has been revealed about AlfendQ's identity or plans. The date September 22nd is still relevant in the case. We have been unable to determine the significance of the date.

November 3rd 1993

The following is the report on my trip to investigate the murder that took place in Odietamo (A small town outside of D.C. limits) A man by the name of Andrew Sedgewick was found dead in his home with his throat slit. We are unsure of what weapon was used. My guess was a piece of glass from a broken picture frame. Unfortunately, because of the large amount of blood on scene, we cannot give an accurate answer. The murderer could have taken the weapon with him. We have dusted the body and surrounding area for DNA evidence. Nothing was clear. Either the suspect didn't touch anything or they wiped down the place before they left.

The man's daughter, Jacklyn Sedgewick, was missing from the scene. We assume kidnapped. The neighbors claim to have heard large amounts of screaming from both the man and the daughter during the day the crime took place. We suspect that the killer and the daughter is in town still or fled to D.C. We are currently searching the town and the chances are small. If the killer took her to D.C. we may never find her. A picture we found on the premises will be given to all officers. Hopefully, we will be able to recover her.

September 23rd 1994

Unfortunately, Commissioner Werston was subject to being the latest AlfendQ victim last night. Six bodies were discovered in a large cabin complex near lake Anna. Two survivors were found. Testimony is similar to other survivors. They were asked to find seven pieces of a puzzle over the course of three hours. It was soon discovered by one of the survivors that the pieces were sewn under the flesh of their limbs. When some subjects refused to cut themselves open to grab the puzzle things took a turn for the worst. Five people were murdered and dissected. The two survivors managed to place the puzzle together. Commissioner Werston was among the dead.

The camera network was again discovered on site. We are unsure of the location that AlfendQ won the game from, but we have reason to believe that he took part. The two survivors claim to have seen an unidentified figure kill one of the players and then leave the site. They are unsure, but we can guess that this was AlfendQ claiming a life for himself. No patterns in method or location have yet been discovered. We will continue analyzing these death games in the hope of stopping next years killings from happening.

The services for Commissioner Werston will take place on September 30th and the presence of all officers not on duty is requested. I know that many officers are afraid that they will be next on AlfendQ's murder list. I wanted to send a word to all of those officers asking them to understand the sacrifice and continue serving their country. I would also like to remind them that Commissioner Werston was not on the case at his time of death, so it will not make a difference whether or not they are involved. You are still a possible target and must continue working to avoid having anyone else meeting the same tragic fate as the late Commissioner.

Metropolitan PD/ Detective Howard Locke/ AQ Case

September 25th 1995

Nine subjects were discovered to have been involved in a fifth death game three days ago. Seven bodies were found on the premises of an abandoned building . There were two survivors, whose testimony claimed that they were told to compete for three antidotes to a powerful virus they were inoculated with prior. They were provided with chemical agents. Three of the seven bodies are unable to be identified or studied due to the large amount of sulfuric acid that had been dumped onto them. One of those three bodies were suggested during an interview to be one of the consumers of the antidote. The two survivors claimed to have sat and watched the others die from the virus.

This death game in particular has raised some questions on the danger of AlfendQ's continuous evasion of us. The virus that killed five of the subjects cannot be identified. The agents involved are nothing like we had ever seen before. This virus attacks the nervous system and reproduces at an alarming rate until it infects the tissue. The subject will then die when the tissue is contaminated and it spreads to the brain through the spinal cord. A subject dies nearly three hours after inoculation. If this virus is used on a larger scale we could be looking at the death of our entire nation. Due to the sensitive nature of this virus's existence we must classify this document to make sure the information regarding it does not release to the public.

Despite the antidote being injected into the surviving subjects, a small part of the virus has remained active. The smaller dose of this will still prove to be fatal. The tissue contamination started from a vain in the arm and should reach the spinal cord and then the brain in the course of a decade or so. They will be paralyzed from the waist down as soon as the infectious tissue reaches the spinal cord. We are going to research an antidote to this virus as soon as remotely possible. We took blood samples from the surviving candidates and found the antidote given by AlfendQ himself had already cleared the blood stream. We are going to have to make our own.

The nature of this virus is detrimental. If AlfendQ decides to kill on an even larger scale than he already does, he will have a biological weapon that could bring the world to its knees. The thing that will buy us time, is the fact that the virus is not infectious and is difficult to spread to different hosts. AlfendQ will most likely be working to spread the virus through inhalation, or ingestion, rather than an injection. If we can make an antidote before the virus is fully developed we can have assurance that the nations security will be saved. I recommend making this document, and other reports related to the AQ Virus, IAS L5. I know that the public has requested that less information related to AlfendQ is classified, but there is no doubt that we cannot allow information to reach the public. They will panic and vote against us for a replacement and all of our work will be futile.

Development of an anti-virus will begin now and will hopefully be created in time to save current hosts.

Metropolitan PD/ Detective Howard Locke/ AQ Case

June 26th 1996

I have decided to document this as soon as remotely possible. It will change this case as we know it. In fact. It will crack it. I have taken a large interest in a new recruit that just graduated from the academy. His name is Marcus Scott. He has shown a large amount of promise. His knowledge of the AQ case is immense and his observatory skills are some of the best I have seen. He has been working with me for awhile and I have noticed some strange things about his records. He has none. He has no history. I found it strange, but despite that, I ignored it for awhile. But recently, It has come across that he has no school records. I don't know how he got into the police academy but he did. In fact, I can't find a Marcus Scott with his paperwork in the system. He isn't who he says he is.

About four years ago, I investigated a murder case outside of D.C. A man named Andrew Sedgewick was murdered and his daughter was kidnapped. We never found the daughter. Her name was Jacklyn Sedgewick. We have DNA records from a door knob we dusted. We had the finger prints of the father, the daughter, and also a pair of finger prints that we couldn't identify. I ran those and compared them to Marcus Scott's finger prints. They match. And not only that. I met Marcus's wife the other day. Her name is Jacklyn.

There is no doubt about it. Marcus killed that man four years ago. He also took Jacklyn with him. Apparently, it wasn't against her will as we thought. But now, I have also discovered a coincidence. A boy, who was about twelve years old, was staying in a motel by himself at the time for about two years. After the murder of Andrew Sedgewick, he was gone. A coincidence? Definitely not. So what this information tells me, is that Marcus was in town for two years before the murder. This matches up with another event.

Six years ago, only a couple days before Marcus showed up in the town, two miners were murdered in a coal mining facility in the Rocky Mountains. One of the miners spelled out the word AlfendQ in his own blood before he died. It was the event that named him. I have found this evidence and came to this conclusion. Marcus Scott is AlfendQ.

We must do something about this fast. AlfendQ has been in the same building with us, working on the AQ case with us. We need to communicate this without the information being intercepted by Marcus. When you receive this report, I want you to lock it away. Do not let Marcus get his hands on this document. Put it as IAS L8. He has killed many others and cannot be underestimated. We must gather people, evidence, and then isolate him. Once that is done, we can confront him, and at last arrest him. I will make sure Marcus doesn't intercept this letter before you do. If that happened, everything would fall apart, and I would be as good as dead.

Metropolitan PD/ Detective Marcus Scott/ AQ Case

September 24th 1996

Unfortunately, this document will be used to disclose the information relating to the death of previous lead investigator. Howard Locke was a victim to one of AlfendQ's death games two days ago. His body and the bodies of two others were found in a small cottage about two miles outside of the D.C. limits. His body was found with various bruises and wounds that appear to have been done with a scalpel and a wood cutting ax. The biopsy revealed more of the unidentified sedative. No progress in the lab related to creating an antidote has been made.

What we are able to determine thus far from this crime scene, was that the cabin was bolted shut and all the windows were boarded as well. All three bodies found in the cabin had the virus in their bloodstream. What we can assume by the instructions we found written out to them is that they were required to search for the antidote. One player had secretly been instructed to end the lives of their two companions. We have reason to believe it was Howard Locke himself. Two subjects (Including Howard Locke) were killed by the third with various weapons.

This year's game did wield some information that we can use. Our investigation has revealed a letter from AlfendQ himself revealing that he is much younger than we expected him to be. I have been looking through some reports documented by Jason Polson before his murder and was able to find a document that told a story about a boy, similar in age to AlfendQ himself. This may be a coincidence, but I will look further into it.

Due to the death of Investigator Locke, I will be taking over the AQ case as lead investigator from this moment further. We will be holding services for Investigator Locke next week. I will continue to look further into Jason Polson's work and hopefully will find some connections to the Hanson murder case eight years ago.
