I walked out of the room alone because my loving best friends were getting bored waiting for me.

Hey, it's not my fault that I took a half hour long shower. I loved the feeling of water against me.

But nevertheless I got out and got ready. And now I am famished and all ready to attack food. Because of shower my hangover subsided a little and I am not feeling like puking by my every move. I walked straight to the garden where guests were having breakfast. I started searching for some known faces but no one was in my sight.

Where the hell they went? I started dialing khushboo's number on my phone. Suddenly I bump into a girl.

"I am sorry, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do this." I apologized and looked up from my phone and saw who the girl is. I regret it now, apologizing to her.

"And we meet again." Malaika said in annoyance.

"How lucky I am to be in the presence of your bitchy persona." I said sarcastically.

It didn't take Einstein's mind to know that we both don't like each other. I and Malaika are enemies. She used to hate since the college days. I don't know why she always hated me. I am not the one to be bad to someone but she tried to ruin so many important things and occasions of my life when I did nothing wrong to her. I never got that why she is so twisted in her mind.

I know she is just saying all this to get a reaction from me and whatever she is doing is working. Because I am losing my calm but I know better to stoop down to her level. I was about to say something but suddenly Vinita aunty walked to us. I smiled genuinely when I saw her.

"Good morning sweetie." She said to me. I smiled and wished her.

"Hello Malaika. How are you." She asked her. Malaika deliberately hugged her and throw a smirk to me.

Ha she thinks that aunty likes her. But the truth is aunty never liked her when samyak used to date her. She told me once that she will never approve of her as Sam's wife.

" HI Mrs. Chandra. You look young from the last time I saw you." She said flattering her.

"that's so sweet of you ." aunty replied.

"Aunty where is samyak." She asked to her.

"OH he went to pick his future in-laws from the hotel." She answered. I smile at his gesture of taking care of my family.

Another reason why he is a perfect guy to get married. He treats my family just like his own.

"Look at her. How she is blushing just by the mention of his name. I always knew these two are going to end together. Such a perfect match." Aunty said to Malaika who nodded and faked smiled.

"Who's the perfect match." I heard his voice joining us, so I turned my head to the direction of voice and next I know he is standing beside me looking very hot in yellow kurta and cream overcoat as per the theme of haldi. I smiled at him and he did too.

"You take the name of the devil and devil is here." I joked. Aunty laughed.

"As I said the perfect match. You kids enjoy I have to meet with other guests as well." She said and left to another guests. I smiled at her and when I looked at Malaika she was looking..... Wait let me rephrase it, she was ogling samyak.

"Hello samyak. It's been long since we last met." she said and trowed herself in his arm. He hugged her back and it was clear how uncomfortable he is. If I wasn't feeling angry because of malaika's action I would have laughed at this.

How can a girl be this desperate.

" Yeah. " He said awkwardly after freeing himself from her hug.

"So how are you." She asked.

"I have been good."He said. Someone called his name from behind.

"I will be back in few minutes. Enjoy yourself Malaika." He said.

"Wait." I said and kissed his cheek . I felt him getting tensed under my touch. He was looking so shocked. I giggled a little. "Thank you for taking care of my family." I thanked him genuinely.

"They are mine too now." He said and smiled. "I will see you in a bit. Please get rid of this bitch fast." He whispered in my ear. I laughed but nodded and he left to recheck all the decorations.

When I looked back to Malaika she was looking so furious. "What do you think ha. That he will......" She started but I was fed up with her so I cut her off in middle.

"Look Malaika. I don't care what you think. I successfully waisted 15 minute of my day on you and don't want to waste more. So enjoy yourself and as I said before hope to never see you again bitch." I said and left her to join my family. My stomach groaned. I definitely need to eat.
