Dallas: He just calls you whenever, so getting a drunk late night call from Dallas was more normal than not on the weekend. At least he thought enough of you to call...

Ponyboy: He waits until his brothers are snoring in bed to sneak into the kitchen and ring you up. He hides in the cupboard with the phone until you fall asleep or Darry catches him, which ever comes first.

Soda: Darry lets him do whatever he wants, so sometimes he will spend hours on the phone to you, he loves to hear your voice before he heads off to bed.

Steve: You have tried to do late night phone calls with Steve but he is always dead asleep and never hears the phone so you gave up.

Darry: He is dead to the world by 9 PM, so you don't even bother anymore. Early morning calls are more his thing but you're dead at that time.

Two-bit: He loves to sit in the kitchen and narrate a movie to you on the phone, or you both watch the same show together, and talk about it.

Johnny: He runs all the way down to a payphone and dials you up in the middle of the night to tell you little things about his day, or ideas he has had.
