Eli went home before 9 o'clock. I had offered for him to stay a bit longer and hang out but he said he didn't want to interrupt our vibe.

What vibe?

Anyways we sit on the sand as the cool breeze walks over us. My toes dig into the sand as my head leans against Kylo's chest. Azariah and Athena on my right, we all watch the sunset fade into pink than orange and then red.

Sometimes I wonder if 'this' what me and Kylo have will turn into something more or will it stay the same?

But again I did tell him that we'll take it slow. Come on Lina.

Azariah and Athena went on a date. Leaving me and Kylo at the beach.

"You wanna go home now?" I ask.

Kylo looks at me and then looks back. "Do you think we could stay a little longer?" I look at him as he looks out into the ocean.

"Yeah.. yeah we can."

It's dark out and it's cold. But we stay wrapped underneath the blanket, bodies huddled together. Kylo wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"It's pretty." I breathe.

The stars come out and the moon shines against the water as it sways back and forth. The breeze is faint but it's there. "It is isn't it, that's why I wanted to stay," he replies. "I wanted to show you them. Since they rarely come out anymore."

"Who knew you'd like stars?" I laugh, but stop once I see that he isn't returning the same laugh. "I'm sorry."

He picks up my chin with his finger. "Don't apologize, I don't mind," he says. "I really don't. But yes I do like them. They're pretty."

"Tell me why you enjoy them so much, Kylo."

He takes a deep breath before continuing. "My mom use to take me out late at night to watch the stars, but as time went on and as we grew up." He pauses but still continues. "It stopped. And the thing is, I don't even know why we stopped, you're never too old to watch stars."

I hum as a response allowing him to continue. "I mean me and my mom I think we're close. But sometimes I have those doubts y'know."

He nods slowly. "Stars are fascinating, they're dead right? They shine so bright yet they're dead. And to be honest I don't know why but that interest me."

Looking at him I grab his hand without looking and use my thumb to feel his soft skin as he explains his likes for the stars. It's adorable.

"They are, I can't keep my eyes off of them."

Kylo grabs my chin with his finger and turns my head towards his. "I can't keep my eyes off you. You're more interesting more exciting."

His thumb runs over my bottom lip slowly. "I'm sorry."

Feeling confused I scoot back a little but he holds me in place.

"Why are you sorry?"

"For everything? I just feel like my apology before wasn't good enough. You're everything I want and you deserve more but you're here with me." He looks into my eyes and then pushes a strand of hair behind my ear. "I'm sorry for everything I put you through-"

I cut him off. "It'll be okay," I say, grabbing his hands and putting them in my lap to rub his knuckles. "We'll be okay, this is a new chapter, flip the page and leave all that behind. Stop worrying and start believing in yourself, in us."

Kylo inhales slowly and gives me a nod. "Okay," he breathes. "Okay."

The sun is fully under and the moon has taken its place in the night sky, we don't move, not for another five minutes.

He's apologized so many times before but tells me that his sorry's aren't enough. So he continues to say sorry and I love that. I'm thankful, even for the past because we wouldn't be here if the past wasn't the way it was.

"Promise me that you'll always be by my side, no matter the circumstance, Katalina."

That's pretty big but I did tell him to leave everything behind and to look forward. So I can promise him.

"I promise, whatever happens, I'll always be here just don't be a jerk." I laugh. "I'm kidding, you're not a jerk, at least not right now."

He mutters a thank you and quickly leans in and plants an innocent kiss on my lips. "Let's go home."

We both get up and grab everything and head to the car. Placing everything in the trunk. Kylo opens my door and I step inside and buckle myself while he walks to the driver side and places himself inside.

Off we go to the other side, the place we call home.

"Hey besties!" Azariah greets us with a hug right as we enter. "I missed you guys."

"We were gone for two hours, Zariah." I mumble into his shirt. "It wasn't that long."

Athena comes up and pushes Azariah out of the way and embraces me in a hug. "To him it's a million years."

"Alright hands off, she's mine."

Athena puts a hand up and makes an offended face. "Alright Storm calm your tits, not that you have any but shut the fuck up."

Azariah quietly mutters something along the lines of 'thats my girl.'

We all laugh, the blondies move out of the way so that we can settle in and get comfy. 

Once I'm in my room I start to undress and put on some soft pajamas, starting with my shirt. I grip the hem and start to pull it over my head until the door opens revealing Kylo standing in the middle.

"Kat-" He stops. "I-I'm sorry, uh-"

Resuming the action I fully pull the shirt off. "Come in, I don't bite."

He lets out a shy laugh. "Righttt..." He shuts the door.

I put on my t-shirt and look at him while slowly sliding my pants off. "Your my boyfriend after all." Grabbing the pajama shorts I slide them on. Grabbing the other clothes and putting them away joining Kylo on the bed. "What do you need? Hm?" I say looking him dead straight in the eyes.

"I wanted to relay the message Thena told me to tell you, 'ask her if she wants to bake with us tonight, you too.' That's all." Kylo swallows a lump in his throat.

Bringing my lips to his neck I place my lips where his pulse is strong and leave them there feeling his heart rate pick up. I back up and look at him. "I would love too, let's go?"

Before he can reply I get up and start walking towards the door I look over my shoulder. Kylo sits there speechless so he nods but points to his neck.

"What? I just wanted to feel your heart rate." I shrug and walk out.

"Katalina, Katalina, the things you do to me."

A/N: Here I am back again. I know I haven't wrote for DIYL but that's because I'm getting a writers block every time I go back. But maybe it's because I'm finishing up Kylo and Katalina's story and having to start with Athena's and Azariah's but who knows.
