It's been a routine. When it isn't raining we go and watch the sun set. But today we opted for the pool.

Kylo said he looked it up and it said that it was a covered pool, but once we got here it was uncovered. I mean I don't mind but I just wanted it to be covered, just in case it were to rain.

But it isn't raining so we'll be fine.

I slap his shoulder. "You said it was covered!"

He cocks his head forward and shrugs his shoulders. "I thought so too, but look I'm confused as well."

I make a random sound and place my stuff on the beach chairs. Laying out my towel and putting my bag on top so that it doesn't fly away.

I don't hear Kylo move or unpack anything instead I hear water being splashed. I slightly move to the side so It doesn't get on me. "Hey!" Laughing I grab the bottom of my hoodie and slowly pull it over my head.

Kylo hasn't said a word so after I fully take off the hoodie I turn around and see Kylo quickly dive underwater.

Weird. What happened?

Brushing it off I slide off my shorts, leaving me in my bathing suit. I throw the hoodie and shorts onto the chair and dive into the water.

As soon as my hands hit the water my body feels like it's turned into ice but only for a few seconds before I fully emerge myself under.

I position myself to sit on the tile floor and hold my breath. Until a pair of hands grab me by the waist to the top.

"What are you doing?" He looks at me with hands still on my waist, my bare skin. I shiver, not because of the breeze that suddenly hits me.

"I was holding my breath? What else?"

He tilts his head to the side and puts his hands back in the water. "Swim with me?"

We swim a couple laps and just talk. Kylo rests his arms on the edge of the pool, stretching his shoulders out. While I'm on the other side of the pool resting my chin on my arms as I watch a bird fly away.

Too focused on the bird, I don't hear the water start to move until I feel warmth behind me. A hot breath hitting my neck. Hands slowly wrapping around the top of my shoulders and a chin landing on them. "Is this okay?"

His voice is soft. "Yeah." I whisper. "I didn't even hear you."

"What's your favorite color?"

"Grey."

"Really?" I turn my head to look at him, our lips inches away.

I nod.

And I swear, I swear he moves his face closer. Just a little.

I don't move, I just watch. I stare into his brown eyes, the sky making them darker than usual. Right now I don't know what to think; his body pressed up against mine, his lips inches away or the look he's giving me.

He flinches. "Are you okay?" I turn around, the water starts to ripple from my sudden movement.

"I'm alright." Kylo laughs, he try to wipes his face with the back of his hand. "Wait- can you like... rub the drop of water by my eyebrow. It's itchy."

I reach for his face, using my left hand to steady it. And using my other hand to wipe the drop of water off. "Where did this come from?" I say. "I didn't move or anything."

Right as I said that, drops of water start to fall. I close my eyes in return and open them again. "It's raining?" I use my hand to shade my eyes and look at Kylo who's drenched in water even more. "Should we get out?"

He shakes his head. "Let's swim in the rain," he turns away from me and dives underwater. He comes back to the surface but in the middle of the pool. "Come on, Lina!"

I stand in place not knowing if I should move or not. "Won't we get sick-" I try and shout but it's no use the rain makes it almost impossible to hear. "Oh fuck it."

In no time I meet him in the middle. My body starts to shiver, the water now turning even colder. "It's cold." Jumping in place, Kylo puts both hands on my arms and starts to rub up and down to try and warm me up.

"Look at me."

"I can't dumbass, the rain is blocking my view."

"Dumbass?" He asks in a tone like he's hurt.

There's something about this moment. Like I've never felt this way. Something just... I don't know.

Anyways, I look at him, I try to look at him.

"Yes Kylo?"

Theres a pause a long pause. The sound of the rain hitting the water, the trees brushing against each other.

"When the rain stops, will you go on a date with me?"

The words that come out of his mouth make my heart flutter. And to be fair it doesn't make me have butterflies.

I feel happy.

He says that with intentions that are good. His thumb rubs in a down and up motion above my forearm as he waits for my response.

"You're asking me on a date?"

He looks away slightly shivering. "I am." Kylo brings me closer to him, enclosing me in a hug. "Please say yes, Katalina."

"Why when the rain stops? Why not now?"

"Eager are we?" When he smiles, he shows some of his teeth. "Maybe it's because we have to go home and get ready or that I don't wanna go out in the rain since we're already here."

I hum in response. "Let's go home?"

"Let's go home."

Kylo said he'd meet me in the living-room. Here I am in front of my mirror while Athena finishes curling my hair.

She had just came back from a date of her own and had screamed at the top of her lungs when she heard I was going on a date with, Kylo.

Can you believe that?

"Lina, I still can't believe you're going on a date!"

"Shut upp."

Athena curls one last piece. "There you are princess." She says, smiling. "Have fun will you? You deserve it."

I stand up and hug her. "Thank you."

Smoothing out the dress. I wear a silk blue dress, with some tan heels. My hair falls nicely against my back.

"You're so gorgeous."

"Stop gassing me up!" I playfully hit her in the head. "I gotta go now."

"Alright fine. Go! Go!"

I step out into the hallway, my breathing becoming heavier, my steps becoming lighter.

Kylo sits on the couch in a all black outfit. A black button up shirt that hugs nicely against his body, the slacks that outline his thighs.

"You.. you look good."

He stands up and walks over to me. "I could say the same to you," he says, his eyes scanning me up and down. "You look beautiful, Katalina. Absolutely so fucking beautiful."

My cheeks start to feel hot, I raise my hand and touch them. Kylo grins as he takes away my hand and replaces it with his. "Let's leave?"
