I look into her eyes as she holds my face in place.

My hands caress the back of her arms, we just sit in silence, staring into each other's eyes.

A smile dances across my lips as her eyes explore every inch of my face. Taking in every single detail. I want to keep my lips on hers, forever.

But I can't do that, not right now. Because I have something I need to do first.

"Enjoying the view?" I grin. She shakes her head with a shy smile. "It's okay. I don't mind."

"I am." Her head tilts to the side as she drags her fingers against my jaw, outlining it.

Using my free hand I reach up and put a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "What's on your mind, hm?"

"You."

Me? Nice.

I give her a hum in response. "Katalina?"

She looks up and raised her eyebrows. "Yeah?"

I plant one kiss on her cheek another on the other; her nose, forehead, left eye and then her right. And lastly a kiss on her lips.

Katalina smiles into the kiss. "What was that for?"

Not knowing what to say I just shrug my shoulders. She giggles at the movement.

My heart picked up it's pace at the sound of her laughs. My heart was ultimately hers and only hers.

I wanted her to be mine and be mine only. But she wasn't mine.

I needed to make her mine. But how?

Being so lost in each other. We weren't aware of the two blondes in the room.

Azariah stands behind Athena as his arms rest around her shoulders and chin on top of her head.

He puts a hand up. "We're just passing through. But Kylo speed it up man, comeon."

Speed it up? Shut the fuck up Riah, please.

Hiding my face in her neck. "Fuck off guys." My voice comes out muffled.

Katalina shivers from my lips that stay on her neck.

"Bye guys!" Athena says as she runs into her room, Azariah following her.

"Hurry up with what?" She questions, genuinely confused.

I laugh. "Just something you'll know innnn...." I drag the word out. "A few seconds."

"O-kay..."

"Katalina Nai, I have a very very important question for you. Listen closely, do you like strawberries?"

God I am nervous. I am so fucking nervous. I said strawberries, who doesn't like strawberries?

Her mouth drops open at the question. "Uh- I have a feeling that, that wasn't the original question," she says. "But I do. What about you?"

"Me too."

Letting out a shaky breath. I put both hands on each side of her face, my thumb rubbing the same spot over and over.

"I'm just gonna," help I don't- I don't think I can ask. How do you even ask. "Rip the bandaid off."

She gives me an encouraging nod.

"Will you, Katalina Nai be my girlfriend?" Finally letting the question out I stare at her waiting for a response. "I know I'm not perfect, I know sometimes that I can be an ass but for you... I'll change, I'll become a better me. Because you make me feel things no one else could make me feel. You're the only girl who's been able to put a genuine smile on my lips, a girl who takes away my worries-"

Her lips land on mine cutting me off. Her answer is clear. She uses her tongue to lick my bottom lip, slightly biting down.

She gives my lips repeated kisses. "Yes." One. "Yes." Two. "Yes, yes, yes. Of course I will."

My mind fuzzy, my thoughts hitting the walls and falling down each time. My mouth opens but I don't say anything.

Katalina just stares at me and plays with the front strands of my hair. I look at the necklace she wears: a  butterfly.

My eyes reach hers, she's mine, my butterfly.

Beautiful, lovable and full of joy.

To be honest that was an ass way to ask her but... It just felt right.

Feeling so secluded from the world we don't even hear the whistles and claps that come from the hallway. Azariah and Athena step outside and start sprinting to where we sit on the couch. I quickly pick Lina up by the waist and sit her next to me so that the impact of Azariah doesn't hit her.

Azariah opens his arms and jumps on me, earning an oomph. "Fuck, Riah." I say, my mouth catching a strand of his blonde hair. "Are you for real?'

He slaps my back as his cheek lays flat against my shoulder. Big baby.

"Lo-lo! You did it!" He exclaims while fake crying. "Please I am so happy for the both of you."

"Thanks. We can talk more when you get off of me- I can't breathe."

He ushers a rushed sorry as he pushes himself off of me.

Athena's screams can be heard from the other house and we sit right next to her as she shakes Lina. "MY BEST FRIEND HAS A BOYFRIEND!?"

Katalina shushes her but it doesn't work.

*****

- FLASH BACK -

"Dude, I'm telling you that it's different."

My brows furrow in. "Different? How?"

"It's like every time you're with her you're in a different world. A world where only you and her exist." Azariah uses his hands to draw the world and two stick figures. "And the only sounds that you can hear is the beating of your heart and her laughs, it's amazing Lo."

How amazing can it be and how long will it last for?

"How are you so sure?"

Azariah makes a frustrated face. "Because," he says, thinking if he should say more. "I've been there and I still am. I know you want that kind of love you see everyone else have and you can have that, stop doubting because I believe that you can have it you just have to believe in yourself." 

- END OF FLASH BACK -

All four of us walk on the beach, Azariah and Athena far up ahead as me and Katalina stay behind. The sun sets as we walk, it's warm not cold. The water runs up and touches our feet every so often only to return back to itself.

The warm breeze wrapping us in a blanket.

"What's going through your mind?"

Katalina looks at me through her long lashes. "Just the moment."

"The moment?"

"Are you that slow?"

"Yes?"

"The moment," her free hand goes in a circle and points to all of us. "Do you see now?"

"I do."

A small smile grows upon her lips she faces straight and lets go of my hand and runs towards the other two.
