A/N before you start reading this i just want to say..

I think i broke my neck..

So i felt super hype and jumped in my bed but because im an idiot, my head landed in an awkward position and now it hurts so bad oww

Okay im dying but you can keep reading...

*Flashback*

I felt...different.

I felt happier.

I haven't felt like that in a while. And it's all because of Zach.

Apart from Alec, I've never felt this way about someone.

Me and Zach are already 4 months into the relationship and I couldn't be happier. Granted, i starved myself weeks before we got together to lose weight and rid myself of the insecurities before i could properly be seen dating him, but still. I was moderately happy.

Zach was a decent guy. He called me pretty when i needed it and took me out on dates. What more could i have asked for?

Everything is taking a turn for the best.

Of course i still have the annoying voices at the back of my head that keep reminding me im not good enough, and he will leave me. But i choose to ignore those and just focus on being happy.

I was supposed to go to Zach's house today, so i felt giddy and excited as i walked up to his door. I had even dressed myself with my favourite pink sweater and put the slightest amount of make up on. It probably isn't even noticeable, but as someone who rarely ever wears it, it's enough.

I was about to knock when my one and only boyfriend opened the door.

"Oh, hi Zach." I smiled brightly as i let my hand fall to my side.

"Sofia." He whispered and cursed under his breath.

"Are you okay?" I asked his with concern lacing my voice.

"Uh, i think it would be best if you left." He said. My brows furrowed.

"What? Why? Is something wrong? Didn't you tell me to come over after school?" I asked, trying not to let the way he was hiding inside the house with his half naked body discourage me.

"The thing is-"

I heard a feminine giggle behind the door.

I craned my neck to see Rebeca Wells in Zach's shirt. She came behind him and hugged him from behind. My stomach churned at the sight. I could feel my face draining of its colour.

"Is everything alright babe?" She asked him as she kissed his cheek. The contents in my stomach were slowly but surely making its way up my throat at the nickname. Babe? He didnt even let me call him that, claiming pet names are gross and he's not a fan of them.

I swallowed the bile down, not wanting to embarrass myself more than I already have.

I took a look at who would now be my ex boyfriend, his big stupid face apologetic. I ignored his calls for my name and turned around to leave.

Zach's voice behind me got louder and louder, shouting stupid excuses like 'i can explain'. I turned a sharp corner and jogged away from him.

I never wanted to hear his voice again.

* Flashback over*

I could remember everything perfectly.

How i still went to school the next day and everyone gave me dirty looks claiming that i was the one who cheated.

I was so mad at him. I let him in and talked to him about stuff that i never said to anyone and he betrayed me.

He was the only guy who i ever allowed myself to have feelings for apart from Alec.

A few days later he had to leave and go to New Jersey with his parents. I only knew this cause Wesley told me (his brother).

I hated him.

The worst part though was that I didn't hate him at all.

"What are you thinking about?" Justin asked as he plopped down next to me.

"Nothing." I answered simply as i laid my head on his shoulder.

"Why am i so tired all the time?" I asked basically no one and yawned.

"Are you pregnant 'Fie?" He joked.

"Oh, yeah definitely. Thats why i'm here actually, my parents have disowned me."

"In your case, you disowned them." Justin said. I had told Justin everything that happened over banana pancakes and chocolate milk. He had been understanding and.. perfect. Like he has been ever since he came back. It's aggravating.

"Its not called disowning if they didn't want me in the first place." I felt good enough about it now that i could joke about it. Im grateful for Justin however, I wouldn't have been if it weren't for him.

"I know you're annoying 'Fie, but not that annoying. They wouldn't have taken you if they didn't want you." He answered logically.

I hummed. "You're right, Catherine definitely must have wanted me so much." I was being sarcastic, which is why Justin pinched my arm lightly.

"Im sure she did," he was trying to be supportive but we both knew it wasn't true. Which is why i snorted. He snorted with me.

<><><>

I was taking much needed nap on Justin's very comfortable shoulder when he suddenly rose off the couch, making me sit up, wide awake now.

I groaned in protest. "You were so comfortable." I think a pout accompanied that statement, which was very uncharacteristic of me but I couldn't bother to care as i rubbed at my very swollen eyes. All the crying i did seemed like a terrible idea now. I looked like i had baseballs for eyes.

"Okay, time for us to go out." Justin rubbed his hands together.

"Out? But I don't want to go out. I want to lay here and... Sleep." I got myself comfortable again and closed my eyes to continue my nap.

"With me?" I knew Justin well enough to know he was wiggling his eyebrows without opening my eyes. I opened an eye to see that statement was in fact correct.

I laughed and made a disgusted face.

"I'd rather drink bleach."

"Come on 'Fie, we have school tomorrow. Don't you want to do something else other that lay around and sleep all day?" Justin asked.

I pretended to think about it and then shook my head.

"Well you know what? You don't have a choice. Now lets go lazy pants. Do you want me to drive you to your house first? You know, so you have a change of clothes?"

I hesitated and he saw that. "I mean, you can always wear my clothes forever, i think you look great." He grinned widely.

I rolled my eyes dramatically at him. "I look good in everything Justin, this isn't news."

"Okay then, leggo." He said then chuckled at his own joke and picked up a lego that was laying on the table.

"Dork." I muttered.

"Why do you have legos anyway?"

I asked as i walked to the door.

"I dunno. I just find then everywhere around the house." He shrugged.

<><><>
"How about...this?" I asked as i picked up the nearest shirt i could find.

"'Fie, you can't just choose something without looking and expect me to actually wear it." Justin deadpanned.

"You're too picky." I said and walked behind him. "I think pink looks great on you." He stopped and my body bumped into his. "Justin fucking walk man, i stubbed my toe cause of you." I groaned and pushed him forwards.

"You think i look great in pink?" He grinned.

I gave him a death glare. "You murdered my little toe because i said you look good in pink?"

He smiled sheepishly. "Sorry 'Fie, you rarely give me compliments, my body forgot how to react." I gave him a light smack at that and bend to rub my wounded little toe.

By the time i lifted my head up again, Justin was waiting for me. With the pink shirt i had picked out in his hand.

"Let's go." He walked ahead, going to pay.

I tried my absolute hardest not to blush at the fact he bought that shirt simply because i said he looks good in pink. But, i'm only human after all.
<><><>

I laughed at Justin's miserable face and skipped to the door.

He was so excited to go out, and because its Sunday nearly everything was closed. After lots of begging he finally agreed to go home and just overdose on junk food while watching a movie.

I was shuffling through the items in the bag, excited to try the cotton candy ice cream we bought while he struggled to open the door.

When he finally managed, we saw Selena standing there patiently.

I stopped abruptly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked in frustration. Surely this was my parents plot to bring me back home but i wasn't ready yet.

"Alec let me in. Um, I just came to see how you were doing." She explained.

"Well, you saw me. Now leave please." I felt bad talking to her this way but i didn't want her to convince me to go home.

"Sofia, im sorr-"

"How did you even know i was here?" I asked her.

"I guessed." She shrugged.

I took a deep breath to calm my beating heart.

"Selena. I'll be fine by next week i promise. But until then, please leave, i dont feel like seeing any of you guys at the moment." I said quietly.

"Just let me talk to you first."

"Okay fine. Talk." I replied.

She waited a second before she stared at Justin.

Justin got the hint and started to walk inside so he could leave us alone.

"I didn't know about it until a few weeks ago, i promise." She said.

I scoffed.

"Yeah right."

"Im being serious."

"Well even then, you could have told me!" I exclaimed.

"Would you have done it?" She asked me. "Would you have told me, knowing that i would be heartbroken after?"

"Yes, i would. Cause if you found out later and knew that i knew about this the whole time, then trust me sister, you would feel so much more hurt." I stated.

"Now, leave. Please." I demanded. "I'll be home soon."

She sighed and picked up her purse.

She brushed past me and finally left.

I shut the door and rubbed my head, feeling a headache coming.

"Are you alright?" Justin asked.

"Yeah, um, do you mind giving me a ride to Beth's?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure. Come on."

<><><>

I opened the door to Beth's house, without knocking cause...thats what best friends do.

She was smiling at her phone and eating pop corn. She finally looked up and quickly locked her phone, placing it on the side.

"Oh hey Sofia, what's up?" She asked, used to me just walking into her house apparently.

She noticed my gloomy expression.

"Are you okay?" She questioned.

I sighed exhaustedly.
<><><>

"Does that mean i can talk shit about her now?" We were talking about Catherine.

"What has the fact that she was my mother ever stopped you?" I laughed. She always talked shit about her.

"Cunt." She muttered under her breath.

"You know what? Im hungry. Again." She said after a while.

I laughed as she stood up and went to the kitchen.

Her phone vibrated on the table, indicating that someone was calling her.

"Beth!" I shouted.

"Yes?" She answered.

"Who is Tyler?" I asked her as i read the contact name.

She rushed back and took her phone.

"Um its no one." She said as she hung up on the guy.

"I'll just...take this with me." She said as she went back to the kitchen.

O-kay then.

Ps, does anyone add periods after their texts? I always love punctuating my texts because it makes it easier to understand and my friends call me a nerd. Lol :,)
