"Mia, what's wrong? You're scarying me." Leo said worriedly as he pulled over the car. 

"Mia, look at me." Leo said as he put his hand on my shoulder. This caused me to jump, bringing in more memories. I turned to look at him, a few tears running down my cheeks.

"Aww, Mia." He said as I saw the sadness in his eyes. He wiped my tears away. I bet I look like a hot mess right now, but that's the least of my worries.

"Okay, I'm going to bring you home. We are only like 3 minutes away. Okay?" He asked in a soft tone.

I nodded, as I felt a few more tear slip down my face.

A few minutes later we arrived at my house. He parked the car in the driveway. "Do you want me to go in with you?"

I nodded again.

"Okay, let's go." He got out, and made his way to my side. He opened the door and crouched down, and he unbuckled my seatbelt.

"Mia, is it okay if I lift you up to bring you in?" he asked.

I nodded, sniffling. He picked me up and carried me bridal style into the house. He set me down on the couch next to him, and I laid my head in his chest. As I thought about everything, tears came streaming out. I was trembling in fear. He put his arm around me for support.

"Shh, Mia. Shh, I've got you now. Shh. You'll be okay. I promise. I'm going to call Ryan."

He dialed Ryan's number, and put it on speaker. While he was waiting for Ryan to pick up, he would wipe my tears. 

"Hey Leo." I barely heard Ryan over the loud noises form the party.

"Hey Ryan, I think you should get over to your house. I think Mia needs you." He said as he looked down at me.

"Oh shit, I'm coming, what happened?" He said as it sounded like he started running. I heard him ask Logan to drive. 

"I'm not sure. I think she saw something on the drive over," Leo said.

"What's she doing" Ryan asked.

"She's crying and shaking in fear." Leo replies, as he soothingly rubs my arm. He wiped away more tears, which were probably full of mascara.

"Fuck, I'm almost there, faster Logan faster. See ya" Ryan said as he hung up.

"Hey Mia, you heard, he is almost here. Shh, I've got you. Shh." He whispered.

My crying slowed as I felt safe and comfortable in his arms, and I quickly fell into a deep sleep.

"Hey Mia, you're awake." I heard Leo say. I opened my eyes and realized I was still rested on Leo's chest. The events slowly came back to me. I felt my eyes get watery again. I sat up and saw a worried looking  Ryan on chair in the living room, and an angry looking Logan on another chair.

"Mia," Ryan came over and sat down by me. He slung his arm over my shoulder, as I cried some more.

"Mia, tell me what happened." He said with a stern voice

"It's him." I said as I cried harder.

"Who?"

"Mason" I managed to choke out.

"Is he back?" He asked, I could feel him getting angry.

I nodded.

"How do you know?"

"I saw him in a car passing us." I said in between whimpers.

"Are you sure it's him?" 

"100% sure."

"Fucking shit. Fuck!" Ryan yelled as he stood up. I fell back on Leo, as he put an arm around me. 

Logan stood up, "Who is Mason?"  He asked.

Ryan looked at me, and I nodded. "He was her boyfriend sophomore year. They were together for a few good weeks then it got bad. They went to a party, and he took her to the bedroom. She didn't want to go. Somebody saw this and came and got me. It was too late. The door was locked and barricaded. She tried to stop him, but you can never stop a man on a mission." He paused and glanced at me. I cried harder as the painful memories came back, Leo squeezed me harder and kissed my hair. I heard Logan grunt from the other side of the room.

I gave Ryan a nod to continue. "I heard her scream, cry, and yell. We couldn't call the police because the party had alcohol, I wanted to so bad, but no one would let me. We got at least 15 guys to get the door down, but it didn't work. I should have tried harder. It lasted for an hour. It was bad what happened to her. He assaulted her. He escaped through the window, and left a note that said his work here was done. We finally got in there about 2 hours after the attack, and poor Mia was lying limp on the ground. We took her to the ER, and she thankfully only bruised her ribs." Ryan finished as he let a few tears slip from his eyes.

"I'm gonna fucking kill this guy." Logan said before coming by me. He kneeled down and kissed my forehead. "Oh Mia. I'm so damn sorry." He lifted me off of Leo and carried me to his own chair, where I laid on his lap. "You are so strong beautiful. So strong." He said as kissed my head.

I looked over at Leo. He seemed to be lost in thought, I saw a few tears running down his face, but he quickly wiped them. He stood up, "Why didn't I know about this? Wasn't I at the party?"

"Yeah, I gathered only the seniors at the time. I wanted to keep it quiet. I didn't want to embarrass Mia." Ryan said as he looked over at me. He gave me a small sad smile.

"And now he's back." Leo said as he began pacing. "Dammit."

"I'm gonna take Mia upstairs to bed, she is very sleepy." Logan said.

"Okay. We will figure this out for you Mia. Don't worry." Ryan said.

"Goodnight Mia, see you in the morning." Leo smiled. I smiled back at him before Logan took me up.

"Okay. There you go." He said as he placed me in my bed. "Goodnight Mia. I'm going to go figure this out downstairs."

With that he quickly left, and went down the stairs. I felt tears come to my eyes as I sat up in the dark room. I looked around and I didn't feel alone. I didn't feel safe. I started to silently cry before I heard shouts from downstairs.

"You left her alone?" Ryan yelled.

"I wanted to figure out how to get rid of this guy!" He yelled back.

"She is scared for her life! Leo go up there, we will fill you in tomorrow morning." Ryan shouted angrily.

I heard footsteps coming up quickly. Then I heard 2 knocks on the door. He opened the door and came in.

"Hey Mia. Aww, Mia, don't cry." He said once he heard my silent whimpers. He sat on my bed next to me. "Shh, Mia, shh." He said as he scooted closer, and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. My cries grew less, and all you could hear were my shaky breaths. He moved on the bed, so that I could rest on top of his chest. His arm was still on my side, rubbing it to help soothe me. "Goodnight Mia." He said as he kissed the top of my head. "Goodnight Leo," I whispered as I fell into a deep sleep.
