"She's known as Cardi. I don't know her personally but she has a whole crew and I need everyone on them. They're our top suspects. If you know anything else about this case then I need witnesses, evidence. I want this bitch and her whole gang in the ground!" Raymun lectured as he pointed at each working officer on the case. "Me and Jodie is gonna be out there looking for them too. You know where to each us."

A week had passed by now and the Bellazan family was on Ray's ass about the case. He had talked to everyone except the brother so he and Jodie were on their way to do just that.

Giving them the news the week before was tough and Raymun felt the pain but he had to keep his game face on.

He drove to the only Bellazan household he knew the address to; Keeva's house. When they pulled up, the house seemed a little more unkept than usual. The grass was kind of high and the flowers on her porch were droopy. Raymun shook his head before walking to the door and knocking softly.

"Coming!" A male voice rung out from the other side.

Raymun stood beside Jodie, giving her a single glance before he looked around. "Wow..." He mumbled.

The door was snatched open and the husband, Rick, gave a small smile as he greeted him. "How can I help you today?" He asked.

"I'm here to speak with Kaivar today. Is he in?" Ray asked.

Rick shook his head. "Kaivar doesn't live here but I can give you his address." He explained. "Or his number."

"Both would be great." Jodie jumped in with a simple smile.

"No problem."

Rosè tied the purple balloon in a knot before throwing it in the air and watching it float onto the ballroom floor. It was Jewelle's birthday and she was going all out for it.

Kai grabbed the balloon and taped it up on the wall with the others surrounding Happy Birthday Jewelle with purple glitter and all that girly stuff Jewelle loved. "Okay, how it look?" He asked.

Rosè stepped back as she blew up another balloon, looking at the setup. "Perfect. Now we just gotta finish the table and make sure the DJ coming." She said.

Ever since the fight with Conni, Jewelle had cancelled her own birthday party out of spite. There was no way that Rosè was letting Jewelle age up without a party to celebrate it. Without letting Conni or Jewelle know, Rosè planned a party at her favorite hall and told everyone invited that the location was changed. Everything was last minute and little more expensive but this hall was one of the best so she would go all out for her baby sister.

They had a crystal fountain shaped as a "J", glitter all over the floor, a slideshow of pictures and videos Amora, Jewelle's best friend, and Rosè had of her. Strobe lights flashed against the walls, purple and white, as the DJ started coming in with equipment.

"There go the DJ so what you got planned for the table?" Kai asked, looking down at her.

Rosè put her finger on her lip before walking over to the long buffet table. "Okay, we need to move all these over here." Rosè instructed as she started moving the food trays and their gas heater holders. "I want food over there and then the cake over here when it gets here. Amora is coming with the caterers so I'm gonna call her and see what's going on with that— why are you looking at me like that?"

Kai smirked as he looked down at her. "You just look so sexy while you bossing me around."

"Shut up, boy." Rosè said, rolling her eyes before turning around and walking away towards the DJ booth. "You got the mix, right?"

"Don't worry, lil' mama. I got this." Dj Remy said, smirking down at him. "We go back, Rosè. Why you acting like I don't know what lil' sista like?"

Rosè put her hand up in his face. "Last time you was playing some bullshit trash underground shit we ain't never heard of." Rosè reminded. "What was that? I'm gonna shoot ya grandma in the face, nigga you a disgrace– BOW BOW BOW—"

Remy put her hand down after watching her shoot an invisible gun at him a couple times, shaking his head. "You not right. That was my lil' brutha." He said.

"Man-man?" Rosè rolled her eyes. "Don't play that shit in here tonight. You hear me?"

Remy smacked his lips. "I'm not! Shit." He told her before she walked off.

By the time Rosè got back to Kai's side, Amora was coming in with the caterers. "Now, we are gonna squash this right now." She told him, pointing at him. "I don't want no drama at this party."

"I'm kinda busy... organizing plasticware." Kai said as he gathered up a bunch of forks and spoons.

Rosè rolled her eyes before snatching them from him and throwing them back in the pool of other plasticware. "Don't play with me. Come on." She told her as she grabbed his hand and rushing over to Amora.

When Amora seen her coming and who she was with she tensed up with irritation. "Why is he here?"

"Y'all about to squash this. Now." Rosè said.

"I just won't talk to him." Amora replied, turning her lip up at him.

Rosè shot a look to Kai. He sighed. "I'm sorry for putting my hands on you, Amora. I don't want any trouble with you... the shit you said was just.. not at the right time." He said as he spoke with his hands.

Rosè then turned and looked at Amora. "I accept."

"Now, you." Rosè said gesturing to Amora. Amora looked at her, confused.

"What am I apologizing for?" Amora asked. "I meant what I said. She almost got me killed and she was fucking my man..."

Rosè shot her a look before looking up to Kai who looked like he was trying to refrain from putting hands on her again. "Amora you can't just say shit like that about people's family." Rosè said after looking back to her. "That's disrespectful as hell, especially since Syrah really is dead."

Amora looked shocked, readjusting her stance. "I'm sorry, Kai." She said calmly.
