It has been a long day, the teams were fighting for each point, but Jungkook was finally here solving the last equation against a running timer on the huge blackboard. The boys were cheering for him when Taehyung was tapping his pen against the opposite desk in an annoying way to distract him, but Jungkook bit his lips writing even quicker, the chalk slippery in his sweaty hands, the numbers running though his head like in some high speed computer then over the surface of the board.

"Ten seconds," yelled the head teacher and Jungkook dropped the chalk swearing underneath his breath, jumping to grab it then write as if his fingers had caught flames, filling out the last available space with numbers then taking a step back when the people behind him gasped.

"And! Time's up," the teacher walked to the board to check his calculation.

The audience frozen waiting for the verdict, Pawoo and Gaou hugging each other from stress.

"And... it's correct. Congratulations team The Dumbest Scientists!" The teacher spoke when the room exploded with applause. Pawoo and Gaou ran to Jungkook to hug him tightly.

"That's my brother!" Yoongi was yelling.

Super embarrassing, but Jungkook couldn't hide a chuckle. With the corner of his eye he saw the other team members surpassing tears, Taehyung was sitting with his head down not moving a bit. This win might have meant a lot for his collage application.

Soon many people including the principal came to congratulate. Jungkook was shaking many hands, took the presented trophy from the officials. They needed to pose to many photos, but after half an hour he was finally free, approaching mum and Yoongi.

"May I hug my genius son now?" Asked mum chuckling to Yoongi.

"Um... guess," Jungkook blushed allowing her to hug him briefly.

"Great job there bro," Yoongi tapped his shoulder.

"Thanks," Jungkook was so tired of them all by now.

"Mrs. Jeon! You have a wonderful son," the principal came to shake mum's hand.

Jungkook was standing right next to them holding the trophy feeling so out of place.

"Um... mum, me Pawoo and Gaou wanted to celebrate together. We will go to Pawoo's, play some games," Jungkok caught mum's attention.

Her gaze changed, she was scanning him suspiciously.

"Mum, let him, the boys had worked hard," Yoongi spoke cheerfully.

Mum sighed standing there, her gaze was sliding over Jungkook's palm tattoos he hid underneath the sleeve quickly.

"Be home before nine," she said so he nodded grabbing his backpack from Yoongi then sprinting out of the assembly hall as quickly as possible.

The door to the basement tattoo polar cracked open and Jungkook slipped inside taking those few stairs down to see RoseH lifting her head from over the project of his dream body.

"Hi," Jungkook stopped at the counter.

It has been 8 pm, he had spend the hours after the Science Olympics wandering along the city without a goal, taking a few random buses ahead, sitting on a park bench staring into nothing. Now he was here, to still his inner chaos with a new ink.

"Honestly, what have you fucked up?" RoseH crossed her arms shocking him with that unexpected statement.

"Excuse me, what?" Asked Jungkook buffed.

"Jimin is leaving the country," she said and it was as if someone has put a dagger stright into his heart.

Before he could control, he turned sprinting out of the basement, through the street to that green spot on the opposite side of the road to find a brick wall at the sidewalk, sit down and break out into uncontrollable tears.

"Jungkook! Hey," a soft voice sounded and through the blurry vision he saw RoseH sitting down next to him. "I'm sorry."

"No... it's... I have fucked up," he bit his lip.

She was completely quiet observing him so he took a small stone from the pavement playing with it between his fingers.

"That sex tape, it was me and him," Jungkook's voice cracked, his hands began to tremble.

"I know it was you, I have made all your tattoos," RoseH raised her brow.

"Sure..." Jungkook would gladly hide underneath the ground from embarrassment.

"Hey, it's cool, I mean at least you had nice memories with Jimin," she nudged his arm.

"Yes..." he sighed biting his lower lip in. "Hobi, my stupid brother had recorded us and posted it to put as apart."

"He's a d*," RoseH chuckled.

"He is... ah... I was trying to make it right, but after that stupid video came out Jimin wanted me to tell my parents about him and my sexuality and... I couldn't... I'm afraid, so I had ended it... because..." his chin trembled, there were absolutely no arguments making sense.

"Jungkook," RoseH sighed. "Do you really want to throw away the thing that is the best and most beautiful in your life for someone's judgment?"

Her words were cutting through his deepest wounds.

"What do you mean?" He stuttered.

"Let me tell you a story of a girl. Her parents wanted her to become a doctor like them, find a man with a position and settle, but she had always loved to draw, loved body art, she never really fancied men. Finishing senior year she could either go to medical college or start out as a floor cleaning help in a tattoo polar. Her parents had told her, if you go this way you're not our daughter anymore. She was damn afraid, was dying from fear, but her best friend had asked her, Rose is it your or your parents' life. She had chosen herself, was sleeping on a mattress in the back of the tattoo polar for a year because she couldn't afford any rent, was stranded, without money, without family support, but she had good friends, a caring employer and her dream," RoseH started speaking here Jungkook's heart began to race and he looked up at her in shock.

"Do you think that after all those years I regret the choice I had made that day? No, not a single second. This week I had been featured in a fashion magazine as one of the most inspiring young tattooers in our country. I have so many clients who trust my skills, I have my own apartment, small but cozy. I have met someone special and she is thinking to move in with me. My life is falling into place and I couldn't have been happier. After seeing the article my mum had called me to say, I see you have made it. Do you think I would have been happy in medical school, with a forced husband? Life is too short to live it for someone else and not to truly be yourself," her glittering eyes were so filled with hope Jungkook sniffed.

Thank you so much for all your love. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. What do you think about Jungkook's conversation with RoseH? What will he do now?

Much <3
