"No... I'm a virgin... besides I don't like... girls," Jungkook's heartbeat was so uneven, how could Jimin even thing about something like that.

"Do you still have some time," Jimin placed his hands into the pockets of those damn tight jeans, he was wearing.

"Yes," Jungkook felt sweat dripping down his spine.

"How about a barbecue for dinner?"

"Great."

"Great? Ok, so let's get going," Jimin hurried to the driver's spot when Jungkook almost squealed, has he just been asked out for dinner by his crush.

The inside of the car smelled like Jimin's perfume, intoxicating almost hallucinative for his senses. Jungkook dug his nails into his thigh to still that fire, that rapid force which was begging for release. The buzzing of his phone disturbed the silence in the car so he reached for it seeing the caller 'Mum'. Jungkook sighed loudly leaning his head back against the seat.

"Your parents?" Asked Jimin.

"Um... mum... she's definitely worried," Jungkook felt heat on his face.

"You're sixteen so..." Jimin chuckled.

I'm not some little boy, he wanted to shout, I'm grown up enough to do this here. Instead he just picked up the call hearing mum's raised tone.

"Where are you, it's dark already?"

"Um... going for dinner with... a friend," Jungkook was tripping on words.

"You and Taehyung should really check the time sometime," she groaned. "Are you staying over at Taehyung's or coming home?" Her tone softened.

"I... don't know yet," he felt his insides twisting madly hoping Jimin hasn't heard what she had asked him about.

"Let me know asap," she ended the call when he sighed louder hiding the phone in his pocket.

"It's ok, if you need to be home I can drop you off at your house," asked Jimin glancing his way.

"It's fine, my parents are cool. Mostly," Jungkook was so nervous, in such anticipation and fire. He couldn't stop that evening now, he wouldn't survive that.

"That's good, I bet you're hungry," Jimin chuckled slowing the car down to find a park spot in a quieter street. "I really like that place here, they have delicious dishes and it's pretty private."
Jungkook nodded drying his sweaty hands against his pants.

They left the car walking in some distance, anyone could easily recognize Jimin so it was better to act as casually as possible, even though everything in Jungkook was begging to close that gap and cuddle into Jimin.

The place they entered was almost empty, it seemed that the staff knew Jimin well, as they immediately offered them a quiet table covered from the rest of the restaurant with a decorative wall.

There Jungkook took his jacket off sitting down across Jimin trying his best to breath steady but it was difficult.

"The menus," a young waiter hurried to them so Jungkook was thankful he has something to concentrate on.

"How about beef and kalbi?" Asked Jimin receiving his attention so Jungkook nodded quickly placing the menu aside.

He began to dry his palms against the pants again looking at the table top like fixed.

Fortunately the waiter came back to take their orders, yet after him leaving another long silence fell.

Jungkook looked up to find Jimin staring at him with a warm smile on those beautiful lips.

"I hope the food will be ok," said Jungkook as he was supposed to say something, right?

Jimin burst out with giggles.

"You're so precious Jungkookie," he muttered ruffling Jungkook's hair causing him to blush even harder.

The waiter came back with the side dishes, the tofu soup and the magnificent plate of meat so both reached for the tongues to start to grill it, their palms meeting and Jungkook pulled his back quickly his, heat pounding against his chest.

"I'm really interested in that pavement energy harvesting system you're building at school. I had read a lot about it the past week but I don't understand much," Jimin chuckled placing the meat on the grill reaching to the drawer in the table for the chopsticks, spoons and napkins.

"It has been first installed at a Spanish university on campus and the results were really promising so I hope we can gain similar results if not better ones. I have tried to add an additional layer, that is vibrating under pressure for 20 s longer than the rest of the upper layers, what in consequences might result in producing 8,7 Kw/h more on a square centimeter... I mean," Jungkook stopped talking looking up at Jimin, he was definitely bored to death by that rumbling.

"It will definitely work, you have put so much effort and heart into it," Jimin took his palm in his caressing over it gently when the butterflies inside Jungkook's stomach levitated.

They were just sitting there staring at each other holding hands, till Jungkook gulped pointing at the grill.

"I think the meat is burning," he muttered.

"Right!" Jimin jumped for the tongues to take the meat off and lower the heat underneath the grill.

They burst out with laughter placing new meat on the plate and Jungkook suddenly found himself loosening up, just enjoying the time together.

"Guess we will need to wait a bit longer," muttered Jimin sitting down taking his palm to hold it and just observe him again.

"I will just walk you to the door," whispered Jungkook following Jimin into the silver elevator.

Why was he even here, to make sure Jimin reaches his apartment safely, right? Jungkook's head so off, Jimin's gaze on him so difficult to handle.

"Sure," Jimin took a set of keys out of his pocket.

He was a senior, who had his own car, his own apartment, his world career, while him, a hopelessly in love fanboy, why was he even here.

The fresh tattoo on his back began to itch more and he was trying to resist the urge to scrub it, or was it just the nervousness, as the elevator opened and Jimin walked out swiftly so Jungkook followed, down the corridor into the hall of that posh apartment.

He took his shoes off walking over the cold marble floor into the living room. The city was glittering like a thousand stars from up here, Jungkook's heartbeat loud and uneven in that strange state.

"So, thank you for dinner and... bye," stuttered Jungkook catching Jimin's gaze.

"No problem, anytime," Jimin took a loud breath in.

They were still standing there looking at each other like fixed, Jungkook's legs just not able to leave from here, why?

Thank you so much for all your beautiful feedback. What do you think about Jikook's dinner date and Jungkook following Jimin to his apartment? What will happen now that they're all alone?

Much <3
