I put a last glance at that two-storeyed house which was nothing but hell for me. I hope, I don't have to return here again

After traveling for three hours, finally, I found myself standing in front of "New girl's hostel". I smiled as I was going to forget all the shit and start a new chapter of my life.

After doing some formalities, I was walking in the aisle, searching for room number 115. Damn, how long I have to walk. I took a long sigh of relief as my eyes landed on the room's number plate.

I knocked a few times but there was no response. I was annoyed as I was already tired.

"Who the hell is this" a strong feminine voice hit my ears revealing herself from the door.

She was beautiful. She was the almost same age as me or probably older, though she looked like she had just woken up from sleep, she was still beautiful in her pajama and messy hair.

"What"? She rolled her eyes when she got no response from me.

"Umm, hi I'm Zaynah... Your roommate" I smiled and outstretched my hand which she ignored and twitched her eyebrows.
"Ugh..." she walked inside and I followed her.

"I'm Farwa, and I hate unnecessary talks. So please settle down and don't disturb me. I'm going to sleep, you already ruined my sleep enough" she frowned and hopped on her bed draping the duvet on her.

It was rude, really rude. I guess there was something wrong with me that people don't like me. I sighed and laid down on my bed. I was too tired to take shower or do anything. I didn't realize when I drifted into sleep.

I was unpacking my stuff when the door of my room open with a loud bang.
"Farwaaaa" a girl of almost Farwa's age walked in and stopped for a second as she saw me. She glued her eyes on me then again started calling Farwa.

"What's wrong Naina," Farwa had just walked out from the shower and there was a clear frown written on her face.

"Farwa, I need to borrow your black dress, today's my date with Sid" she laid down on the bed and made herself comfortable. It was clear that they were really good friends.

"Ugh, have some personality Naina," she murmured and opened her wardrobe. After putting her head in the wardrobe for a few minutes, she threw a black beautiful dress at Naina and sat beside her.

"Thank you, I love youuu" Naina squealed and tried to hug farwa but Farwa pushed her a little with a slight scowl on her face.

"So you didn't introduce me to your roommate, huh?" Naina spoke after scrutinizing me for a few seconds.

" Another weird hijabi, can't you see, I don't talk to such people," her tone was mean.

Yesterday I thought she was salty cuz I interrupted her sleep but now I realized she doesn't like me. I highly doubt if I could ever make a friend or not.

"Farwa don't be mean. Hi I'm Naina, I live in the next room, what about you,?" Her friend tried to cut the thick tension of air and tried to talk to me.

"I'm Zaynah, I'm here for a graduation course in physics," I replied shortly, and once again I put my all attention in setting my essentials at the right place.

"Ohh nice, so you are here after clearing...." She waited for me to complete her sentence.

" KVPY, " I replied.

"Wow, another nerd, huh?" She grinned a little.

"Huh?'' I raised my brows at her.

" Naah, I mean clearing KVPY is not easy, you must be some topper," she smiled at me again and I nodded. I just realized she was sweet.

"Are you two gonna stop or should I throw you from my room," Farwa said in an annoyed tone.

" I'm going Ma'am, don't be salty," Naina stood from the bed and waved at me, I waved her back and looked at Farwa who was staring at me with her emotionless eyes.

Before I could say anything, she turned around and moved her attention towards her phone.

I shrugged my shoulders and unlocked my phone. I needed to find a part-time job ASAP.

I was stunned to see the campus of IISC, it was my dream campus. I was feeling new happiness in my heart. After some formalities, I was guided to my class.

As I stepped into the classroom, a lot of gazes met mine. Everyone was staring at me like I just came from a different planet. My anxiety rose in my heart and my palms became sweaty. I calmed my breath and moved to an empty seat. Why everyone was whispering and looking at me like this. Oh, I realized I looked nothing like them. I was in my old-fashioned old clothes with a grey hijab over my head.

I guess I ain't gonna make any friends here, bruh I don't have any fashion sense, neither I'm rich.

Relax Zaynah, you're here to complete your dreams, don't think about them.

The class was pretty interesting, everything felt like a movie, I mean a day ago, I was locked in my room, studying, crying, and living the life of a maid and now I am sitting and walking among IISC kids.

My stomach was empty, I had some money which was my only way of living until I was getting any job. I took a burger for myself and sat on the empty seat. I was engrossed in eating the burger when students started whispering. I lifted my head and my eyes traveled to a strong tall figure, I was staring at his back as a girl was blocking his face.

Waitttt... Farwaa...
That girl was Farwaa... She was looking tensed and finally, the guy turned at us and his gaze accidentally met mine. My heart raced a little and I felt heat rose to my cheeks. He was hot! Very very hot!

Bro! You can't think about any guy like this!

It's wrong!

You're not here to drool over any guy.

I lowered my gaze and tried to calm my breath.

What the heck was happening with me? I mean why I was feeling flustered? I pushed back all the unwanted thoughts from my mind and sipped my coke.

I looked at them again, this time they both were settled on the table opposite to me. The guy was frowning for no reason, and Farwa was trying to talk with him.

"She's Farwa Hashmi, girlfriend of Wajahat Shah, son of one of the richest businessmen of Bangalore. They are in the third year of graduation," some girls who were sitting next to my table were talking about them.

"Farwa is such a bitch, I don't know what Wajahat is seeing in her, I mean she's salty for no reasons, no senior girls want to be her roommate " another girl spoke, I guessed they were also seniors as they knew a lot of things about them.

"Exactly, Wajahat is like some Greek god, he can get any girl, he wants but also Farwaa is pretty and popular"  one girl sighed.

I was least interested in gossips so I ignored them and walked out of the cafeteria.

I didn't know why out of all the girls I had to be roommates with Farwa.

I looked at my wristwatch, my another class was going to start. I almost ran to the classroom and boom...

I hate my clumsiness, my feet stuck together and I faltered. I tried to balance my body but heck, I tripped and fell straight to the floor earning loud gasps from other students.

Shit, I hate it. I hate this.

My eyes filled with tears from embarrassment and as I was about to stand, I heard an annoying voice.
"Silly attention seeker girls," like seriously?? Which girl wants to make her fun just to get these types of silly attentions. I frowned and turned my head to give him a savage reply but my tongue lost its voice.

Wajahat....?  Undoubtedly he was a jerk like his girlfriend.

And I swear it was a moment, I felt a strong hatred growing for him in my heart.
Pretty faces with ugly hearts.

And on my first day in IISC, these two people were included in my "dislike list"
