Sadly you would have liked to speak to the brothers more but they didn't seem to like to speak for some strange reason. Finally a week later, you arrived at the Sand Village and you didn't expect any of the brothers to stay, not that you needed them. You're most than able to protect yourself though the company isn't too bad, but that'll have to do. "Thank you for your company, have a safe trip."

However none of them moved. "We'll wait for you." Itachi offered as they stood side by side.

Knowing the Uchihas if they want to stay they'll stay no matter what you say, they'll refuse to leave. " I see, then come."

With that cleared, you all headed to find Gaara and inform him about your arrival. You did promise to return, but you do have other plans for the time being. It'll have to be explained to him first, because you don't plan to stay for the day. You really want to head to the village and see your parents. You cannot imagine how they must have felt when they found out about your health and even more about your last decision.
Maybe you can bring them to the Sand Village, Kabuto made it clear that he has no interest about you at all other than knowledge.

But since Goro's home, or at least it was, was closer you decided to check and see if he still lives here. But perhaps he moved after what you told him. Sighing, you knocked once and it was disappointing to find out that he indeed had moved. Where? You'll have to say that he's with his family.

Now that's clear you can move on to find Gaara. But before you even arrived, sand began to make a small tornato until it stopped in front of you, little by little the red headed male began to appear. A small smile appeared on his now matured face,this once young body has now turned into a much matured one.

"Hello Gaara, how have you been?" You asked as you offered a small smile of your own. How could you not? He excepted you into his village without judging you.

His green eyes glanced at the other two before they settled on yours. "I have been fine, did they find you?"

So their quest wasn't a secret. "More like I found them." Now cracking a bigger smile you turned to face the brothers. "I am done with restoring my body to its healthy state so I am back." Just like you promised.

His eyes twinkled, perhaps he's happy to hear that you remembered the promise after all. "I am glad, but I suppose you are here to inform me that for the time being you are going to the Leaf."

"Yes, I'm actually going to bring my parents here." You paused. " If you are okay with it."

"Like I said, this is your home and so is theirs. Your home is still waiting for you. " Really, this man has a heart of gold.

"Thank you, I am going to have to go right away. I just can't wait to see them, I'll come back as soon as I can." Now that you're done with that, you nodded and turned around. But just like when you left, he grasped your hand in his.

Your head turned around only to see the sadness creeping on his face. Of course you'll like to stay longer instead of staying what, ten minutes? But you have your priorities, your parents are your number one priority. "Please be careful and stay safe."

Ah, he's worried of something happening to you. Your eyes softened tightening the hold of your hands. "Gaara..." The male, he has believed in you and even give you the opportunity to start anew. You approached, and although You're not one for showing much affection, you hugged him. Why? Because he has given so much to help you, he grew on you. His eyes widened perhaps for the strange behavior, but even so, he returned the action. Once you were satisfied, you pulled away and smiled. "I will, you do the same please."

Now done, you turned around to really leave. As the three run once more to the outside of the village, a thought crossed your mind. You've really changed.Even after starting with Kabuto and after staying in pretty much isolation, you've matured and perhaps come to realize that people do care for you. It's strange but Kabuto had so much on that role, despite having his motives for helping you, he made sure to inform of whatever was happening outside of the hideout.

During the three years of isolation and physical pain, he had told that your friends back at the Leaf made sure to take good care of your parents. Every single one of them would always visit them and made sure that they were healthy.  Specially after it was attacked several times, you were unable to do a thing but they did. Your friends made sure to protect them at all times.Perhaps your heart had been poisoned long ago, but after having this time to think and oddly enough, with the help of Kabuto, you've managed to heal that poisoned heart.

Yes, it's a contradiction to what you used to believe. The leaf wasn't trying to use you when they asked for you to stay there, they asked you so that they could protect you. Kabuto mentioned that with your abilities you'll have others willing to take advantage of it, and the Leaf was trying to prevent it for your own good.

As for acussing you of being a spy, it was only precaution in order to protect the village, the Hokage has to protect the civilians and that's what Tsunade was doing.

Your friend hadn't been able to do a thing not because they didn't want to, it was because they had no other choice. Just like you, they have their reasons for becoming Shinobi/Kunoichi, so if they did anything, they'll be accused of betrayal.

Perhaps you have been a little too harsh with them, but even so, apologizing won't change the past so why live the future instead?

With a positive mind now, you're ready to face any obstacle that presents on your path. Because you're aware of the already brewing trouble coming your way, you'll face it with a confidential and determined attitude.

If only you had been aware of your surroundings, you would have noticed that you weren't the only one with the "strange" attitude, you would have noticed the strange behavior of two certain brothers when you hugged the Kazekage.
