“I am not.” That was your resolve though you were feeling a bit guilty.
 
“Why not? I know you can.” Goro pressed though it was starting to be a little suspicious that he was so persistent about it.
 
Walking away from the male, you shook your head and crossed your arms across your chest. “He might as well be already dead.”
 
Goro looked away wondering if he could reveal about it but if he was going to convince you, he might as well have to. “Listen, I don’t know if you can tell but that it’s Sasuke’s brother, Itachi.” He began, there was shock but it was soon replaced by a scowl. “A long while ago, I heard Orochimaru talk about him.” He began to explain deeply about the Uchiha clan, and what happened. Though he now spoke about how Itcahi was ordered to kill his entire clan, but he just couldn’t bring himself to kill his younger brother. Goro explained as fast as he could, if you didn’t hurry up then it might even be too late.
 
Your eyes softened looking back at the male. “It must have been really hard for him.” It was just mumbling, but he could hear you clearly.  But were you willing to risk even your wellbeing? It wasn’t like you owed anything to Sasuke much less to Itachi. Perhaps it was best to let him rest, you’re sure that even if what Goro said was true, he was living in pain and guilt. But…Who are it’s a miracle that there’s that thread of chakra unwilling to fade away. Taking a deep breath, you cracked your back as your fingers ran through your head. “Even if I try, I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to save him. This is entirely different than the wound transferring technique. Kabuto once told me that once there’s no heartbeat, the body could be considered dead. However, with the right skills if there was a trace of chakra, the person could be saved. I practiced this new technique, but only practiced a few times and only with animals.” Turning to face Goro, you continued. “My body is not rested enough, and although I can use the chakra stones, I don’t know what will happen.”
 
Now he understood your hesitation, and although a part of him worried about the consequences that you might suffer, he believed in you. He has seen how you’ve survived while curing Orochimaru; your body was at the state of a corpse and yet, you survived it. “ I see, but I’ve seen what you can do and I believe in you skills. But why don’t you see it as practice? You’ll be able to find out whether you’re able to save a life.” He shouldn’t go that low, but it was necessary. “Wouldn’t you have tried it if it was your mother or father?”

 
“Don’t bring them to this discussion!” You growled, but you knew the answer and so did he. What if you even needed to do something like this if it something happened to any of your parents? And you didn’t have enough practice? Turning around once again and walking towards Itachi, you placed a foot on both sides of his torso. Then you crouched down until your knees were touching the floor, your hands began to shine with your chakra. Taking a deep breath, you furrowed your eyebrows in concentration. As your hands began to reach the chest of the male, Kabuto’s works echoed in your mind.
-“For the body to keep functioning, you need to get the heart beating. Although CPR can be used on someone as soon as the person dies, this technique is just on another level. In this technique, you’ll have to make the heart beat even if hours after the body has been declared dead, if there’s a trace of chakra left in that body. The reason why you must start with the heart, is because once you transfer your wounds of someone whose heart is not beating, it will only mean that you’re sacrificing yourself. Not just anybody is able to perform this technique, only when you combine your ability of your healing and the ability to transfer someone else’s wounds to your own body, then you’re able to perform this technique. In other words, you’re the only person known to be able to perform such technique, however, you must keep in mind that there might be consequences whether at the present or the future.”
 
Your hands began to sink and get lost inside the chest of Itachi, though there’s no damage done to the body. –“Good. Now grasp the heart, but in a gentle hold. Now, to get the heart beating, you must use your chakra to feed the heart to get it to work. Focus your chakra, yes, that’s right. Do you see?”
 
Yes, you could, your own chakra pulsated as it was concentrated on the heart. –“Do you feel it? It’s starting to beat, but keep trying, it’s going to beat and then stop. You must continue until it’s beat it’s constant.” Yes, you could feel the muscle begin to beat, and as he said, it would stop soon after. -“Now that you have a constant beat, concentrate on distributing chakra to the whole body, while the heart is beating, it will provide plenty of your chakra to the body as it’s beating. That’s excellent, you’re doing a great job. Now that the body is beginning to function once again, focus on healing the fatal wounds.”
 
The male began to breathe, however, despite beginning to feel tired, you continued. Your hands moved away from the heart, and then you placed your hand on the chest and the other to the head. Fatigue was starting to get to you, and despite having excellent control of chakra, you needed more to continued. The first stone on your belt began to shine, and enter your body. As always, now both bodies were enveloped in chakra, you consuming from the chakras and then your body serving as a filter so that the other body can use your own chakra. However, now your hair began to sway as the amount of chakra began to move rather widely.
 
-“Good, good. Even if you have plenty of chakra left, your body needs rest. Once you deal with the internal injuries, you can leave the minor ones for the person to heal. These injuries are not fatal, you can-“
 
Kabuto’s voice faced to the back of your mind as your body demanded for much needed rest. The chakra disappeared, only leaving your body absorbing from the chakra stones. However, as you panted heavily, your body began to move to the side until you collapsed. Goro had been captivated but what just had happened, however it was broken as soon as you collapsed to the floor. He rushed forward and took you in his arms, you were breathing however, there were signs of the wounds that you had transferred to your own body. However, he knew that you needed now was time to recover. With that in mind, he took you to your room and tucked you in. He then returned to see Itachi, he was breathing and the color returned to his skin. He crouched down and touched the skin to feel the warmth, he’s eyes scanned the body only to notice minor injuries. He smiled as he grabbed Itachi and headed for the other room. “See, I told you so.”
