War fully broke within seconds as soon as Madara attacked. For a moment, you all stared in awe at just how easily the male defeated those around him. There wasn’t a need for him to use ninjutsu, just hand to hand combat. In that moment, the rest of the enemy followed right after, announcing that there was no more time to just stand around.

Perhaps it was selfish of you of just heading straight for Kira, but no matter how much your brain tried to convince you to be rational, your heart felt rage toward the male. There was only one thing to do before you gave your mind a piece of peace.

Narrowing your eyes, you ignored the cries of your name when your friends tried to keep you from getting yourself from any trouble. Kira, quite a smart male, tried to flee once he realized that Obito wouldn’t take time to take him into a safe zone. On your way, some of the enemy blocked your path as they allowed a safe path for the mad scientist to flee. Your eyes glared at each one of them, and there were some familiar faces, those you had saved before. There was a mix of guilt and hatred in their eyes as they gazed at you. Before the blade of your Kunai had the chance of taking the lives that you once saved, Kiba and Lee jumped forward, offering a nod.

Sending them a firm nod, you continued forward dodging some attacks and slashing, kicking and punching whomever tried to stop you. One you were away from the battlefield, you came to stand close to the area that you came to see when you arrived. Finally, the male came to stop without the fear that you would attack him. He was rooted to the ground, and then turned around to face you with a mocking grin on his face. “Do you really think you can stand in my path?”

Your fingers twitched in anticipation, hungry for the sensation of his blood adorning your entire being. “Oh, think? It will happen, I assure you that by the end of the day, you’ll be taking your last breath.”

A dramatic sigh left his lips as his hand rose to his head and then his fingers run through his hair. “Since the day you were born, you had a purpose do you know what that is?” Again, he asked as his eyes twinkled with his mockery. “Use, you were created to be utilized. No matter how much you struggle, you will never scape your destiny.”

A wave of adrenaline mixed with how much you loathed him washed over your body, a feeling like a shudder. Growling, you flashed forward swinging your right arm down, then the left aiming both carotid veins. Something solid met both of your blades, and as the shiny blades cut deep, blood began to exit the wound. Once the blades were no longer in contact with the neck, large quantities of blood streamed out, and even covering your body. Before you took another action, something bit the skin of your back, making you try to jump away, but it was too late, something was thrusted into your body, you had to look down and see a blade pocking from the middle of your chest.  A curse left the male’s lips as if realizing something, you hurriedly turned your whole body around to look at the Kira you had ‘killed’ only to see it banish into nothingness. Only a few feet away from the other Kira’s position was standing what you assumed to be the real Kira.

Something rose your throat, making you choke with a liquid. For a moment, you were sent to your knees, forcing you to let go of a Kunai as your hand shot to your chest. Your eyes widened as you coughed and droplets of blood were sent a few feet away from your mouth, and some dripping down your chin. “You were being careless, if you hadn’t moved that fast, I would have hit the target.”

You grasped at your chest, feeling the intense pain and a hint of fear possessed your heart as you realized that something was off. The healing process should have taken place, but you felt nor saw nothing of the sort. What you did feel was the pain and the difficulty of breathing. Of course, you could breathe, you were coughing up blood, but it was still possible for you to breath. A wheezing sound left whenever you inhaled and you exhaled. Frowning and cursing at your own stupidity, you rose to your feet facing your opponent.

Said opponent hadn’t left his position as he looked at his dagger in his hand, looking at how your blood adorned the blade. A wide grin stretched on his face, and it would have been possible to grow if it hadn’t been for the limitation that his lips provided. “Not healing?” As if knowing that he would receive no reply, he continued. “That is my plan B. I always knew that at some point you’ll recover your memories and I was certain that I would be your objective so I had to improvise. Why do you think I took so long to come up with perfecting my minions’ healing abilities? Which, of course, I was unable to do so.” He exhaled as his eyes trailed to the trial of blood running down from your chest to your stomach. “It took me so long for me to find something to hinder your healing abilities, and I’m proud to say that it is working.” For how long would it get back to work? Not even he was sure but from the looks of it, it would take a while. “It’s amazing, isn’t it?” Oh, he could catch that fear in your eyes. “How long has it been since you felt fear, fear of dying?” To empathize his point, he stepped forward, making you step back. “A long time, hasn’t? I’m going to take my sweet time with you.”

It was so pathetic how you didn’t even harm the male, not even a scratch, and look at you now. With widened eyes, you didn’t even get the opportunity to roll to the side as the man flashed in front of you your forearm was slit open. Ignoring the pain, you rapidly stepped forward spinning your body backwards, and side kicked him sending him staggering back to give you enough space to recuperate. Searching for another Kunai, now holding two, you held a strong position ready to fight back, not only to kill him but, mainly to save yourself. Letting out a pitiful laugh, you narrow your eyes realizing that at the rate that you were losing blood, you had to do destroy him.

Time flew by, and although it wasn’t that long, it felt like an eternity. No matter how much you fought, you only managed to hurt the male several times, none of the wounds were mortal. There was a large gash on the inner left thigh, other minor gashes on his arms, chest, arms, and face but you were much worse. You used your minor techniques but when you used them, none of them landed on the real Kira. The man used his illusions once he realized that even in your state, he wouldn’t be able to kill you that easily. You could already see the desperation in his eyes from the moment you tried to retrieve the pills, those that Kabuto had provided to you to release your chakra completely. Surprisingly enough, you still had them but it turned out to be much more difficult to retrieve the container, Kira and blood loss made it impossible to retrieve them specially since the container was thrown a couple of meters away from you. The male tried to get you away from the pills, so you had to form a plan to buy you some time not only to get closer, but to get them.

Taking a few moments to concentrate your chakra, you surrounded yourself with it and pushed forward. You didn’t want to use any more chakra, because every single drop of it made a difference but having no other choice. As you stumbled a bit as you coughed, almost losing your valance. Gathering as much as strength as you could, you regained your valance. Only a couple of more steps before you get to the pills, a whooshing sound met your ears, from your left coming from the back. Although the noises created by the illusions, there was a difference when it came to the real one. You twisted your body, you placed a hand with Kunai over your chest and another over your head, knowing these to be your serious vital points. As you thought, the male continued to target your heart. What you did, was not to block the attack, no, you only shifted your body to the left where the dagger entered your shoulder as if cutting butter. You let go of your kunai, to grasp the male’s hand in order to keep him in place, while with your left hand, you did slash horizontally, across his throat in hopes that you wouldn’t need to resort into releasing your chakra completely.

By your slash was minor, since he managed to jump back as he was released from your hold. But he lost his right hand in the process, since it disintegrated from the spot where you had grasped his hand. Throwing whatever was left of the hand, you through your body on the ground, stretching your arms and finally grasping the container.

A wave of pain invaded your brain once you realized that when you threw your body on the ground, the dagger dug deeper in your shoulder. As you ascended, your left arm would not move realizing that the dagger must have severed something. Not wanting to take any more time, you unlocked the container, you popped not one, but two pills inside your mouth. Kira’s eyes expanded, as he stepped back, all the while holding his wounded neck.

The dagger buried inside your shoulder, was too deep, even the handle was buried within your flesh. A couple of inches of the blade was poking from the back, and as you twisted your right arm above your head to grasp the blade with your bare hand, you tugged at it. The pain lessens as the rush of adrenaline increased in your body, as the chakra surrounding your body increased. Kira’s eyes shocked fear, something that he had mocked you about since he first had the upper hand. “Fool, you’re going to die.”

As the blade started to give in, you laughed. “I-“grunting, not from pain, but from the effort of trying to retrieve the blade you continued, “ As long as I bring you to hell with me.” One more pull was all it took to completely get the dagger out of your shoulder. Tossing it to the side, your body shook as smaller waves of chakra started to emanate from your body. As it did, Kira stepped forward and then turned around sprinting, trying to get away from the place as soon as possible.

The waves started to increase, some allied Ninja would be killed in the process, that you knew, but you could only try to control and not harm those you knew. You could recognize their chakra signature, focusing on each one, and try to protect them as the waves devoured anything on its path. If there was one thing that you could thank Kira for, this would be one. Would you survive or die? No matter, if you took out some of the enemy, that was enough. Deep down, you hoped that your training payed off, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll manage to survive.

Just as the last wave left your tired body, you crashed to the ground face down. Your heart skipped a beat upon realizing that you were indeed alive, gathering the little strength that you had, you snakingly, managed to stand on fours. After a few moments of trying to get your lungs some oxygen, you rose to your feet, you faced where the battle field took place. From your position, you could see the figures of the people still fighting, un-phased by the amount of people that disintegrated by your chakra.

Taking another long breath, you knew that no matter how much you tried to keep fighting, your body would refuse to do. Even absorbing chakra was also affected by whatever Kira had created. But now, that did not matter. Turning around, you started to walk away from the battlefield. If you returned, you’ll only worry those fighting and even influence in their battle. Besides, you wanted to leave, to disappear as soon as the war was over. Although it did not end, and you could not take part of the rest of it, it would soon. Unfortunately, you lack the strength and ability to be part of it. You’ll be only a liability. Slowly, but surely, you continued to walk to your new journey. Where? Not even you know.

Used. Coming to a complete stop, Kira’s words resonated within you. Even if you hated him, he was right. You had been only used, and will continue to be used. Hardening your eyes, you continued your path. By the time the war ended, you’ll be gone.

By the end of the day, you came to a river. It had been a few hours since you left, and finally you managed to find a source of drinking water, its waters traveling violently, as if knowing about the war. Kneeling, you washed your hands in the violent waters, and scooping some water from the river. Sadly, your wounds weren’t healing at all, not even a little and by now, the amount of blood already lost made your body weak. From the last hour, your eyes were beginning to shut on their own. Scooping more water with your hands, you splash some of the freezing water on your face to try and stay awake.

Coughing some more, a wave of dizziness make sway forward and eventually, your mind shutting down your body. You had been kneeling at the edge of the reader, when your mind shut down, your upper body landing on the running waters of the river. You completely ended inside the river, and then being carried away. With such a brocken body such as yours, what will happen? Will you survive? Only time will tell.
