“Hey hold on, we need to talk about this.” Your friend attempted to persuade in talking about something that doesn’t need to be clarified because it already is. A glare is your only way of replying to that.

Coming to an abrupt stop a small could of dust if left of the sudden action, and in grows slightly in size when you turn around. “Talk?” There’s pain in your voice and for a moment, it cracks so you turn your gaze away. “What is there to talk about? I understand that this is for the best, but did you really think that I would run away?” The feeling of wanting to see the other’s expressions but instead, you glanced at the ground. “I wouldn’t do such a thing, I just wanted to help.” But you wanted to tell them more, of how you are ashamed of your entire being. Because you’re responsible for the two leaders to leave their place at the village to come and retrieve you, that would only place the villages and the civilians in danger. Even if that is one of your emotions, you can’t help the contradictory emotions because there’s still the hint of betrayal because they were willing to cuff you like a criminal. After receiving no response from any of them, you scoff and begin to walk to the spot where you four will be transporting is just close. You could feel the small infused spot with Goro’s chakra close to a tree.

Once you are placed in the middle of Goro and Kakashi, Goro proceeded with the process. A memory crosses your mind, the first time you were transported by Goro. It wasn’t a pleasant feeling, but now, it just felt normal. Shaking your head, you wait to be transported to another location and so on. A feeling of adrenaline rushes through your body, and for a few seconds your mind doesn’t register what in the hell is going on, but no later your eyes land on a different location.

Despite arriving, you all stand on the defensive upon realizing that something wasn’t right. What could that be? Goro should have transported you all within seconds upon landing on the next infused location, and it is there, but a small trail of an unknown chakra is registered. When you come to the realization that you won’t be able to fight to the full potential because of your retrained hands, you focus your chakra on the handcuffs and right as the object is covered with the chakra, it begins to melt away. A sigh of relief escaped your lips as your wrist were no longer captive.

“We should try to transport now.” You growl to Goro as you retrieve a pair of Kunai all the while your eyes trail to every single part of the forest, or at least what you can see.

His eyebrows furrow and then he shook his head. “I can’t, it has been corrupted.”

“What do you mean?” Kakashi asked as he scanned the area with his eye, already feeling the tense air around him.

Just as Goro’s lips parted to reply, your world becomes fuzzy, kind of when Goro transports you. This time it feels so unfamiliar, and it is similar but it feels unwelcoming. Next moment, you’re all standing at the middle of the battlefield. Your eyes scan the area, many, so many enemies that your friends seem to have difficulties fighting back. “What the hell did you do Goro?” Growling you stand in front of Kakashi and Gaara, already trying to get rid of the hand cuffs by using your chakra, within minutes it begins to dissolve.

Said male does the same but a glare adorned his features. “This was not me.”

By now your presence was known to all the enemy as plenty of them turned their gaze to your small group and began to approach. There are two things already running through your mind, one being that the Hokage and Kazegake must be taken to safety but as your eyes trail to your friends who are just barely standing against the enemy. Kiba and the others were drenched in their own blood, maybe their wounds weren’t that fatal but if something wasn’t done now, they’ll get killed.

A ’stk’ left your lips as you glanced at Goro from the corner of your eye as your hold on the Kunai tightened. “Take them back to the camp.” From the tone of your voice, it wasn’t a suggestion, no, it was an order. Some of the enemy began to attack, you four were forced to fight back. “Damn it Goro, do it! We can’t risk their lives!”

“We are not leaving.” Surprise was written all over your face as you receive the answer not Goro but from Gaara.

“I said take them back damn it!” If you didn’t do anything now, Goro will refuse taking any sort of action so you leaped forward, slashing and stabbing anyone that dared block your path. And now you asked why you were handcuffed? But really, how could you just stand there and do nothing to help your friends? Impossible. The urge to turn around becomes hard to ignore so the next moment that you get the opportunity, you do so only to witness Goro already securing a spot to return.

With a smile, you proceed to fight the enemy, sometimes you make sure to really kill the enemy by landing on their torsos and thrusting the Kunai deep enough to stab the beating organ. Next thing to do is make sure that your friends are huddled together to secure them a small space so that they can rest and cure some wounds if necessary. The area is large with a rocky ground and no plants around, quite deserted. Hinata is standing at Kurunai’s side quite far from Kiba and Shino.

Shino is closer to you, so you must ask him to join Hinata and Kurunai, then you’ll approach Kiba and do the same. Although it doesn’t seem like Shino or the others are having any difficulty destroying the enemy, fatigue is already creeping to the surface. The amount of the enemy is surprisingly great, perhaps sixty? That makes it difficult to get closer to the male, but your close enough. “Shino! Fight with Hinata, I’ll try to open a path for you! Go!” With Shino’s help, you can get closer to the male. Now with the two of you, you can open a path so that he can join the other two. Next is Kiba is far from all of them, maybe a quarter of a mile away which is no surprise really. Kiba and his four-legged companion are fighting, leaving a big mess.

Akamaru sniffed the air, barking at your direction when he catches your scent. Kiba stands on all fours ready to keep fighting but spares you s single glance since that is what he can do now. You shout at him and tell him the same thing, for around 9 minutes there’s a struggle but eventually you both begin to make it back to the others. Goro hasn’t returned yet which is quite worrisome, and even the others haven’t either. But the distance that Itachi and the others must travel is far, so who knows when they’ll arrive.

Once you’re both close enough, you begin to infuse Kunai and being to secure a small area for them. You hiss as an enemy stabbed your lower side of your ribcage once he took advantage of your disadvantage. You have no Kunai, but your hangs are covered with your chakra so you grasp his neck, just as your hands make contact the male’s skin, he let’s go of the weapon and try to claw at your hands that tighten on his throat. His skin around his throat and fingers begin to turn red, then it takes an ashy tone. The enemy’s’ eyes stare at your own with horror written all over them. The flesh feels soggy, so, you retrieve your left hand away but with your right one, you rip the man’s throat off. The man’s body lands on the ground with a thud, but you could still hear some gurgling sounds coming out of his mouth. Your eyes trail to the ground just as you tossed the flesh that rested on your hand.

It didn’t take too long for you to do that small action, but it was enough to give a few of the enemy to halt and hesitate. They seemed horrified even more when they could clearly see that the man wasn’t healing. With a glare, you take their hesitation to secure the group inside that circle of your own chakra. “Don’t attempt to touch it, do you hear me?” You warn them as you stand outside getting ready to keep fighting.

You hand reach one of the containers and your fingers to grasp a pair of pills. You hesitate a bit as you watch the pills but when you glance at your friends, you raise your hand to your mouth and toss them into your mouth. They are small and would be easy to swallow, but you must chew them for them to take effect. Just as the sweet taste is captured by your taste buds, you begin to feel the increase of adrenaline, but this time stronger. As you offer Kiba and Shino a smile, you turn around just as the chakra seeps through your body.

Just as you walk a few steps forward, you are forced to stop and stand straight. It feels incredible, such power cursing through your body and even more so when small waves of chakra began to pulse out of your body. Some standing close are not lucky enough to jump back in time because soon they land on their knees as their flesh starts to disintegrate into dust. Those standing further watch in terror, those expressions do nothing but to increase the thrill. A grin plays on your lips as you flex your hands, feeling as if you’ll explode in any given moment. That feeling isn’t unpleasant, on the contrary, that feeling so so welcomed.

You cannot help that feeling, not even when the warning of Kabuto crossed your mind. You shouldn’t take more than one because if you do, the damage to your body is unknown. It would even bring you death, but, for so long you fought to survive but now with this feeling, you even welcome death. With a smirk, your muscles begin to contract, your heartbeat increases to an alarming rate that your chest begins to hurt. The great feeling starts to decrease as your body releases the final wave of chakra, engulfing any living creature on sight. It keeps steady for minutes, three maybe? You are not sure but the enjoyable feeling started to dissipate, and an agonizing scream left your lips. Every muscle in your body feels as if is being torn from your bones, your chest’s pain is hard to ignore. Those symptoms increase as your body is left with no chakra, but instead of stopping, it reaches for the chakra stones, once every single chakra stone is emptied then it moves to anything that is alive.

Your sight begins to blur, and your eyelids refuse to accept your command as they begin to shut down. Just as the chakra disappears in minutes, your eyes roll to the back of your head and your body drops to the rocky ground. Trails of blood run down the sides of your head, from the insides of your ears, but there are also trails of the red substance from your nose and mouth.

Kiba and the others watch in horror as to what they had witnessed, but just as they are free to stand outside of the barrier, they hesitate. During that hesitation, they ask themselves whether you’re alive or dead, and when they finally shake the shock off, they start to reach and aid you. No matter how fast they moved, they weren’t fast enough as a hooded figure appeared in front of you. With even more horrified expressions, they witnessed how that form crouched down took you into his/her arms and within seconds, you were gone.
