what I think of endgame (spoilers, duh)

....

I don't appreciate them killing Tony.

Tbh, I kind of expected it, but it was one of those worst-case scenarios that ur pretty sure won't happen--

But nope, they make him literally kill himself to save the world.

Don't get me wrong, it's a heroic ending (and a real tear-jerker) but the REASONING the Russo brothers give to kill him off is what gets me.

"Happy endings are cliché."

"They're overdone."

...n-no, if anything is proof that isn't true, take Disney for example. You know, the multi-billion dollar company that OWNS Marvel? Every single movie, u know is going to have a happy ending. Wanna know why most people watch Hallmark despite the god-awful screenwriting? (no offense intended, I watch them too)

BECAUSE HAPPY ENDINGS AREN'T BAD. IT'S NOT SO STRANGE TO GIVE TONY A HAPPY ENDING, ESPECIALLY WITH EVERYTHING HE SACRIFICED.

But all in all, other than that soiling the movie for me, I thought it was good. The reunion for Peter and Tony was what I was expecting (it was precious) and Thor was just... hilarious.

But now, because of Tony's death, I'm in crisis.

I'm an author of a book revolving around the relationship between Iron man and Spider-Man.

Do I continue as if this never happened, or move on to other things?

By other things, I mean... not Irondad, but maybe just centered around Peter's life? Or maybe I should focus more on my Dragon Prince one shots from now on?

What do you guys think?
