Emma's POV

"Wake up" Livi screamed while jumping on the bed. 

Sandro groaned and pulled me closer to him, putting his head in my neck. I kept my eyes closed and snuggled into him not really wanting to get up. 

"It's Christmas" she shouted jumping and landing on top of us. I opened my eyes and seen he smiling face inches away from mine. I smiled at her and puckered my lips. She pecked them and sat on top of us. 

"Give us a minute, go to your room and put on you pj's we planned for today." I whispered to her. I bought everyone Christmas Pj's. Sandro has no clue, but ours match.

I pulled his head from my neck and planted my lips on his. He kissed back with more force. I pulled away and smiled at him. "Merry Christmas" I said. He pecked my lips, "Merry Christmas" he said standing up. 

I got up and followed him to the closet. I pulled out our outfits and handed his to him. "What the fuck is this?" he asked looking at it with disgust. "Our matching pj's" I smiled innocently. He walked to me and leaned down, "Your lucky I love you" he whispered pecking my lips and walking out. I changed and walked out. I smiled when I seen him standing there in his pj's.

We walked out of the room and made our way to the twins room. When I walked in I swooned at the sight of Livi standing next to their cribs watching them. She was already in her pj's.

"Hey daddy" she said running and jumping into Sandro's arms. I walked over to the closet in the corner of the room and picked out the twins pj's. I walked over to them and changed them one by one.

I turned towards Sandro and he put Livi on the floor and walked over to take Ace from me. We walked downstairs and Livi screamed when she seen all the presents.

I sat Abby down in her rocker and Livi ran to me. "Santa came this year" she said hugging me tight. I hugged her back and nodded my head. She ran over and sat by the tree. Maggie began handing her presents. I sat on the couch by Sandro and watched her open them. Each one she opened she would get up and hug the person who got it for her.

After I helped the twins open their presents I went to take my seat back on the couch when Sandro pulled me down on his lap. 

"Ready for your present" he whispered in my ear. I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and kissed my lips. "Remind me once we are alone" he said. I nodded and turned back around to watch the kids open presents. 

Sandro's phone went off and he sat me on the couch and walked to the kitchen. I heard him talking in the other room. I watched Livi play with her doll "Santa" brought her. Sandro screamed something in Italian and walked back into the living room. He kneeled in front of me and grabbed my hands."I need to go to the warehouse but I will be back later." he told me looking me in the eyes. 

"But today is supposed to be a family day" I said. He nodded and leaned in, "I know baby, something came up but I will make it quick" he whispered. I nodded and grabbed his face kissing him. "I love you" I told him pulling away. "I love you too" he said standing to his feet. He kissed all the kids and he and James walked out. 

I looked back down at Livi and seen her still playing with her dolls. "You want to watch a movie" I asked. She looked up and nodded her head rapidly. I stood and grabbed the twins. 

Maggie held Abby, I held Ace, and Livi settled in between us.

Halfway through our fourth movie Maggie's phone rang. She handed Abby to me and walked out of the room to answer it. 

She came back in crying. I sat up and looked at her. "What happened" I asked. "Sandro was shot." she sobbed. I stood and handed Abby back to a crying Maggie. I grabbed Livi and we ran to the garage. We buckled all the kids in and I sped off to the hospital.

We grabbed the kids and ran inside, "Alessandro De Luca" I told the front desk lady. She typed something into her computer and then looked at me, "Relation to the patient" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I am his fiance, she is his sister, and these are his kids." I said in one breath. She nodded and gave me the room number. We ran to the elevator and went to the right level. I got off and ran down the hall until I found the correct room. 

I bust into the room and seen Sandro sitting on the bed and James talking to the doctor. Sandro looked up and we locked eyes. I walked over to him and sat Ace down at the end of his bed. 

"Your ok" I said hugging him. He hugged me back and kissed my hair. "Yeah" He breathed out. 

"Daddy" Livi screamed with a big smile on her face. He stood up and picked her up. He looked at me and chuckled. He kissed my ear and whispered, "Nice pj's" I looked down and blushed. 

"Hush, I ran out as soon as I heard" I said slapping his chest.He groaned in pain and I pulled my hand back. He sat Livi down and I lifted his shirt. There was a white bandage covering his top half. Tears sprung to my eyes and I ran my fingers gently over the bandage. 

"Hey. don't cry baby" he said wiping my tears. "It only grazed my shoulder." he said hugging me close. I pulled down his shirt and stepped away so Maggie could see him. 

She handed me Abby and pulled him in for a big ole hug. I smiled as I watched them. They pulled away and she whispered something to him. He chuckled and kissed her cheek. She walked behind me and sat by James. I walked back up to Sandro and handed Abby to him. 

"Hi darlin" he said kissing her cheek. He looked down at Ace who had fell asleep on the hospital bed. I laughed out loud. He is definitely a mamma's boy. Sandro handed me Abby and picked Livi up. He sat on the bed and she cuddled into his chest. 

"Merry Christmas guys" James said. I chuckled and looked at him. He smiled and winked at me. I turned back to Sandro and sat Abby by her brother.

"When can you leave" I asked. "Tomorrow, they want to keep tonight to make sure I am okay." he said. "I am going to take the kids home, and Maggie and James will watch them. " I told him. 

"Your coming back right" he asked. I smiled and nodded my head. I grabbed Livi. Maggie and James each grabbed a twin. 

"Bring me a change of clothes." he said. I nodded and pecked his lips. We walked out of the hospital and I drove home. I left the kids downstairs with Maggie and I went upstairs to pack an overnight bag. I also changed clothes.

I grabbed the bag and walked back downstairs. I kissed the kids goodbye and made my way back to the hospital. I walked up to Sandro's room and walked in without knocking. He was asleep. I crawled in next to him and went to sleep next to the love of my life.
