I was cranky. Waffles was cranky. It was pretty evident that we weren't morning people. Isaac had woke us up early in the morning because he had somethings to do later day and wouldn't be able to hang out, but he still wanted to get Waffles shopping out of the way first.

Okay maybe I'm over exaggerating a little, it wasn't that early, it was barely 9:13am, but I didn't get much sleep because Waffles was up crying most of the night so I was pretty exhausted and a tad bit cranky.

I knew I was gonna have a couple rough nights with Waffles being in a new home trying to get comfortable, but oh my god, I literally wanted to cry on account of how tired I was. He wouldn't stay in his little corner that I had fixed up for him, I had even tried laying down with him until he fell asleep, but nothing. I eventually caved around 3 in the morning and brought him onto my bed, and the little brat immediately made himself comfortable by my legs and knocked out.

We were now currently in Isaac car on our way to pet smart, with Waffles laying on the center console. Afar from him crying last night he was such a good dog, he was extremely friendly, playful, everything a puppy should be. I thought i was gonna have a hard time potty training him, but turns out that he already was. He was near my door this morning at 6am, crying to get out. I tried calling him back to bed a few times but he only continued to whimpered, when it finally clicked that he might have to use the restroom, so I let him out and took him into the backyard and he immediately did his business.

Isaac took his hand of his lap reaching for mine, gently squeezing. "Was it that bad?" He chuckles.

I was starting to drift off in the car and his little hand gesture had woke me up, "no," I smiled. "It's just been awhile that I stayed up that late."

He brings my hand up to his lips, placing a kiss on it. "Welcome to my life," he chuckles. "Did you see your brother this morning?"

I shook my head no, "I think they were probably still asleep because his door was closed." I had told Isaac about my dad and Caleb's little argument last night. "I'ma talk to him when I get back though, I still need to tell him that Ima spend Thanksgiving with your family."

Isaac glances at me, smiling. "So you are coming?" I smile and nod in return. "Good, because I already told ma that I invited you and she's fucking ecstatic to see you again."

"She is?"

"Mhm," Isaac nods his head one single time. "She fucking adores you already." I smile looking down at my feet.

We pull up to the store five minutes later while Isaac hangs onto Waffles leash, but of course the little guy isn't used to it so he just stays put forcing Isaac to tug on it, but he doesn't budge. Isaac eventually loses the fight and picks Waffles up in his hand and we head into the store. I grab a shopping cart the second were inside and Isaac instantly places Waffles inside of it while we shop around. We're loading Isaac's trunk up half an hour later, and his wallet is down another 100$. Who spends that much money on one little puppy? You know who? My boyfriend.

I tried telling Isaac that we didn't need to buy him a bed, that he could just sleep on the bed with me, but of course the stubborn man wasn't having it. Waffles bed and the little wire play pen were the two most expensive things that he had bought, but afar from that Isaac had also gotten Waffles some treats, some shampoo, a name tag, a little water and food bowl, and plenty of toys to play with. Out of all the toys Isaac and I had both chosen for Waffles, the little stuffed hedge hog and donut were my absolute favorite, Waffles on the other hand had taking a real liking to a regular plain teddy bear.

After the pet store Isaac took us out for lunch, well breakfast still, seeing how it was only still 10a.m, but Isaac however was craving a burger from a little diner so early in the day. Luckily for us the diner he had chose had tables outside of the restaurant, so we ate out there rather than in his car with Waffles on the leash next to my side.

Isaac was currently giving me a glaring look because I kept feeding Waffles some of my French fries. "That dog is gonna get use to eating human food, before you even put him on puppy chow, Hailey."

I chuckle softly, while continuing to feed Waffles a fry, "okay, okay, okay, last one I promise."

Isaac chuckles to himself, "that's what you said three fries ago, woman."

I grab my milkshake taking a sip from it, it was chocolate and strawberry mixed together. "I'm sorry, but how can you not give into that cute face!" I point down at my feet, at Waffles, who's patiently sitting, wagging his tail, waiting for my delicious fries.

"Easy," Isaac smiles. "Waffles!" His voice instantly drops two octaves. "Come here," he snaps his fingers, pointing down next to him. Surprisingly Waffles actually goes to him, but keeps his head down low. I'd be afraid too if Isaac talked to me in that tone of voice, or really turned on probably.

Isaac grabs a small piece of fry from our tray holding it out in front of Waffles, "if you're gonna give him food, make him work for it, babe, don't just give it to him." He snaps his finger at Waffles one more time, "Waffles, sit." He commands. Waffles tilts his head to the side, clueless. "Sit," Isaac repeats himself, and Waffles reaches up to grab the fry, but Isaac quickly pulls it back. "No!" He chuckles. "Sit!" He snaps his fingers pointing down again, and Waffles actually sits on his little butt.

I squeal with excitement, "oh my God he did it!"

Isaac chuckles giving the small fry to Waffles and he happily eats it, and we finish the rest of our brunch. We load up back into his BMW and drive back to my house, when Isaac's mom calls him instructing that he get home immediately because his father needed to talk to him. Isaac tells her something in Italian disconnecting their call short after. I should really invest in an Italian dictionary and carry it around in my purse.

Isaac parks in his usual spot and grabs the things out of the trunk, "do you want me to stay with you while you talk to your brother?" He asks, walking up my walk way.

I pull my keys out of my purse unlocking the door with my free hand, "no," I smile. "You have somewhere to be. You can set the things down and go, I wouldn't want your dad to get mad."

I push the door open, inclining my head forward that Isaac go in first. I take a step to the side as he walks passed me chuckling to himself, "it wouldn't be the first time I've upset him," he says walking backwards and turns around.

He comes to a halt and I collide into his perfectly muscled back. Isaac cranes his neck back, tilting his head forward. "Uhh, yeah." He murmurs.

I step around him to find that my whole family, including Amber, is sitting at the table having breakfast barely. I check the time on the clock on the far wall, noticing that it's ten till 12. I walk towards the dinning table setting the puppy bags down, "little late to be having breakfast, aren't we?" I tease.

My dad speaks up, "why didn't you tell me that you were leaving, Hail?"

"I know, dad, I'm sorry." I sighed. "It totally slipped my mind. I thought that I would've been back by the time you guys woke up."

"And so what, that's suppose to make it okay, you leaving without permission?"

"No-"

"Mr. Summer's I'm terribly sorry," Isaac walks up behind me, I notice that he's put the play pen box down on the ground. "This is all my fault,"

"Clearly," my brother scoffs, and Isaac's eyes shift to Caleb's for a second, then go back to my dad who's scowling Caleb.

"I woke Hailey up early because I wanted to go shopping for Waffles," he picks up the leash in his left hand. "He was my gift to her, and I didn't want you guys having to waste any money on him."

"That's very thoughtful of you, Matteo, but that still doesn't excuse the reason why my daughter didn't have the need to tell me she was gonna be out."

"I'm sorry, dad, really, I didn't want to wake you up on your day off."

"You could've easily texted me, kiddo." He implies. "Let's this happen another time and this is over," my dad waves a fork over at us. "Do you understand me?"

I nod while Isaac answers verbally, "it won't happen again, Mr. Summer's, I'm sorry. And I'm sorry for having disrupt your meal, I'm gonna get going." Isaac kisses my cheek rather than my lips, and I'm sure it's due to the fact that my dad and brother are in the room. "I'll see you Friday, " he whispers into my ear and I nod.

"It was nice meeting you guys," Isaac looks towards Caleb and Amber, but my brothers doesn't say anything and Amber simply smiles. "Again, I'm sorry for the fuss, Mr. Summer's. I hope you guys have a good Thanksgiving."

"You and your family as well," my dad tells Isaac.

I turn to walk Isaac to the door and he hands me Waffles leash, kissing my cheek one more time. "I'll call you when I'm free?" I nod my head and ask him to be carful before he leaves.

I unhook Waffles leash from his collar, and he immediately takes off, exploring the house. I grab the two bags with the puppy stuff and bed, making my way towards the stairs.

"Where do you think you're going young lady?" My dad grumbles.

I pause and furrow my eyebrows, "my room?"

My dad shakes his head, "sit, we're not done talking."

I sigh long and hard, placing the things near the stair way, walking to the table. "Dad, I'm sorry, it won't happen again, I promise. I was honestly in a rush and half asleep, it totally slipped my mind."

"That's not what I'm talking about." It isn't? Then what? "Sit," my dad adds, and I sit in my chair. "Are you hungry?"

I shake my head, "we already ate."

"Your brothers gonna spend Thanksgiving with Amber's family apparently, meaning you'll be going to your aunt Jane's house by yourself, unless you want to stay home or spend it with Carmen or something."

Well guess this means I don't have to talked to Caleb anymore, I softly shake my head. "Isaac actually invited me to spend Thanksgiving with him and his family, I was gonna bring it up during dinner tonight."

"I don't know, Hail," my dad utters. "I don't feel so comfortable with that, maybe you can tag along with Caleb and Amber," he turns to look at Amber, as if asking her if that would be okay.

"Oh!" She quickly puts two and two together. "Yeah, totally! My family wouldn't mind, you're more than welcome to, Hailey," she smiles.

"No!" I frown at my father. "I don't want to be some third wheel! Im gonna go with Isaac!"

"Hail-" my brother try's to intervene.

"Shut up, Caleb! This has nothing to do with you!" My brother quickly furrows his eyebrows, glaring at me. I've never been the girl to talk back to her family, but I'm honestly starting to get annoyed with them thinking what's best for me. My dad says one thing one day, and then does another a different day.

"Hailey!" He shouts.

"You said you trusted me! Why can't I go with them!"

My dad sighs, " I do trust you, kiddo, it's them that I don't trust!"

"Why?! Have you actually ever met them, dad? They're actually really sweet, his mom's a total sweetheart!"

"Wait-" my dad shakes his head softly. "You've already met his parents? When? Why haven't you told me this?"

"Y-yes, like two weeks ago," I say.

"Why wasn't I informed about this?!"

"I didn't know it was something I had to share.."

My dad narrows his eyes at me for a few seconds, not saying a word when he finally breaks out of his silence. "I don't know, Hail, I'll think about it."

I quickly try to protest, "think about what, dad? I'm tellin-"

"Enough, Katherine! I am getting sick and tired of this new little attitude, thinking that you can boss yourself around! You are still a minor and you still live under my roof, you will do as I say, and right now, I'm saying that I will think about it! Do you understand me?!" I don't answer, instead I turn to make my way towards the stairs. "I am talking to you young lady!" My dad shouts behind me.

"Yes!" I shout back as I bend down to grab the dog stuff off of the floor, and make my way up into my room.

~~~~
It was currently Thanksgiving day and I was down sitting in my living room watching tv, waiting for Isaac to come pick me up. I ended up apologizing to my dad and Caleb about an hour later after everything happened that night. I wasn't normally the type of person to lash out, so I don't know why I had that night, but I felt completely felt terrible afterwards, and the better part of me had to go say sorry. My dad of course didn't give in right away, he accepted my apology but hadn't changed his mind yet, not until last night at least.
I was actually asleep when my dad had came into my room to last night, I had been feeling a little under the weather since the day before yesterday so I ended up taking some NyQuil and fell asleep early. After checking up on me was when he had told me that I had his okay to go with Isaac and his family, but he wanted me back by the time he got off of work which was 11. He wanted me to check in with him every hour as well, just to let him know that I was okay. He said that he would rather continue to check on me when I was around people, actually conversating, hopefully having a good time, then checking up on me home, alone bored.
Caleb of course continue to ask me if I was sure I didn't want to go with him and Amber to her family's house, but like every other time I told him I didn't want to be a third wheel, I would much rather stay home. My brother and Amber ended up leaving early in the morning, apparently her family lived out in the city so it was gonna be quite a drive for them. It's was about ten after one when Isaac texted me that he was outside, I quickly grabbed my bag, Waffles leash and made my way out the door. Before making my way out there I had texted Isaac telling him that I would be out in a few minutes, I just had to put Waffles inside his little play pen, when he called me instructing that I bring him with me, this way he could play with his brother, who his little cousin just so happened to own.
The second i stepped outside onto my pathway I quickly noticed that Isaac wasn't in his BMW, he was in a totally different car. He was now driving a nice looking Acura, black of course. I liked it. I opened the passenger door but instantly stayed quiet when I seen that Isaac had his phone glued to his ear, angrily speaking in Italian. I picked Waffles up and slid into the passenger seat, setting him and my bag on the ground and closed the door.
Isaac immediately grabbed onto my face, pulling me towards him, crashing his lips onto mine, "you look amazing," he murmurs, and then continues to speak into his iPhone.
My insides instantly turned into mush at the touch of him, sight of him, he always looked so good no matter how causal he dressed. He was literally just wearing a pair of dark tan jeans, a faded black button up shirt, with some white shoes, and he looked so devilishly handsome. He continued to smile at me while he wrapped up his phone call, roaming his eyes up and down my body, purposely gazing at my legs a few seconds longer, I was in a dress again.
Isaac licks the bottom of his lips, slightly starting to shake his head, "Basta! I'm tired of fücking bickering back and fourth with you! Call my dad if it's such a fucking problem!" Isaac quickly hisses, hanging up on who ever he was talking too. "You ready?" He asks me, starting the engine with a push of a button.
I nod, "what happen to your car?"
"It's in the shop," he says, talking over the soft music, pulling out of his usual parking, making a U turn. I notice that his right hand stays on the gear stick, switching to a different gear.
"I didn't know that you could drive stick shift," I smile.
He smiles back, nodding his head, "I learned how to drive in this car, I actually took my driver's test in this car, it was my first car before the Beamer."
"What's wrong with the BMW, why's it in the shop?"
"Nothing," he shakes his head. "My dads getting the tint removed from the windows because they're getting me into a lot of trouble right now."
"Trouble how?" I furrowed my brows, glancing over at him.
Isaac down grades back to his first gear as we come to a stop at a red light, glances over at me for a quick second. God he's so handsome. "The tint that I have on my front windows is illegal."
I'm about to comment on his windows, when my ears quickly catch the song that's playing on the radio and Im squealing with excitement. It was Billionaire by Travie Mccoy "I use to be so obsessed with this song!!"
I extended my hand out and higher the volume just a tiny bit on his stereo, starting to sing my little heart out. Isaac chuckles besides me and higher's the stereo even more, softly singing along with me when my heart immediately drops. He's drop dead gorgeous, and he can sing!
I instantly start to grin and Isaac lowers the music a bit, "what?" He chuckles. "Why are you all smiley?"
"Your voice.." I continue to grin. "Its nice. I didn't know that you could sing."
"No?" He smiles, keeping his eyes on the road. "I didn't tell you that on Tuesday and Thursday's I like to go down to Lum Lum's and sing karaoke?" He says sarcastically.
"Really?" I giggle.
Isaac arches an eyebrow, quickly glancing in my direction. "Do I really look like the karaoke type of guy, baby?"
I giggle and shake my head, "shame, that would've been a major turn on, probably could've even got you laid today," I tease him. Isaac shakes his head, while laughing softly, turning up the stereo again.
