"What's up, Red?" Dion nudges the side of my arm with his elbow.

We were currently on lunch break and Dion had made sure of it that I didn't spend lunch alone like yesterday. His little home boys were literally in every direction that I looked.

"You've barely touched your food," he says, glancing at the burger and fries in front of me.

Apparently Angela was craving a burger from Buzz's, a little burger shop near the school, so Dion went out of his way to grab her some food, and came back with more than one order. He literally bought food just for her, him, and myself. I'm assuming that Angela told Dion of my recent small appetite because when he passed me a brown bag and vanilla shake, he demanded that I finish every single bite.

"That's a lie," I smiled faintly, looking to the left of me where he sat. "I ate some fries with my shake."

"Protein," he grumbles, pointing at my wrapped burger in front of me, "you need protein."

"I'll give her some protein," one of the unknown guys that was siting at the table smirks, nudging Vinny on the elbow, and things escalade quickly.

"Are you retarded or just plain fucking stupid?!" Dion snaps gaining everyone's attention. No one peeps a sound, and everyone averts their gaze away from Dion.

"Well which is it Lazarrga?" The guy who's name I don't know looks up at Dion, softly shaking his head. "So then what on earth would give you the audacity to say some shit like that, huh? What," he scoffs. "You think just cause KP's not around I'm gonna let you get away with some shit like that? I outta drag you over this fucking table right here, right now.. Why the fuck would you disrespect him like that, knowing damn well you're too much of a fucking coward to say some shit like that to his face."

Angela places a hand on Dion's arm, attempting to calm him down. She was sitting on the other side of him, in between us both. "Dee, stop," she murmurs.

Dion moves his arm away from her touch as the Lazarrga guy continues to shake his head, while mumbling a sorry under his breath. "I'm not the one you should be apologizing to," Dion snarls.

This is where I come in, "Dion, it's not a big deal, really. It's okay," I smile over at the guy. "It never happened."

He continues to shake his head rapidly, "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't hav-"

"Get the fück out of here, Lazarrga." Dion interrupts the guy at mid sentence.

"Come on," Vince chuckles to the left of him, getting up from the table. "You have a lot to learn dude.. You comin' Ric?"

"Nah."

The Lazarrga guy quickly gets up from his spot, mumbling another sorry before taking off with Vinny. Dion, Angela, Patrick and I are the only ones left at the table.

"Fücking idiot,"' Dion continues to grumble, taking a bite from his burger that he's almost done with. "I fucking told KP I had a bad feeling about him, his mouth is gonna be a problem."

"It's only been two weeks, Dee," Ric implies. "He just needs to be broken in."

"Speaking of KP, have you got a hold of him yet?" Angela mumbles quietly under her breath, and I'm sure it's so I won't hear but I catch every single word.

Dion doesn't answer her verbally, he simply shakes his head no and they all stay quiet continuing to eat their food and it nearly drives me crazy.

"I can't do this" I mutter, quickly tossing the rest of my fries I had left into the brown bag near Dion, along with the burger I never touched and get up from the table.

"Can't do what?" Angela questions. I choose to ignore her slinging my bag on my shoulder, stepping over the bench when I feel a hand wrap around my arm.

I know it's not Angela's though, their grip is too tight and I doubt her hands are that large. I crane my neck to see and sure enough it's Dion's hand, just like I thought it would be. He's still siting down though, "where do you think you're going?"

"Anywhere but here," I say, attempting to tug my arm away from him, but it's no use.

"What's wrong, Hail?" Angela turns around fully, facing me.

"Are you serious?" I retort, and all three of Isaac's friends stare at me when the same confused expression on their face. "This!" I point at all three of them. "I can't do this!" I yank my arm one more time, and nothing still.

Angela quickly smacks Dion on the arm, scolding him, and he lets go immediately. "How am I suppose to get over someone when his life is constantly revolving around me, when you're constantly talking about him! What's gonna happen the day Isaac finally comes back to school, hmm? Are you gonna force me to hang out with you guys still?"

Dion start to chuckle under his breath, shaking his head while standing up from the table, stepping out of it. "Do you honestly believe that I like baby sitting your bitchass?!" He swore, stepping closer and closer towards me.

Angela quickly gets up from the table, grabbing onto Dion's arm, pulling him back. "Dee."

"I do it because it's my fucking job," he points angrily at me. "I do it because she actually she gives a shit about you!" He points to Angela beside him now. "Not only do I have to worry about Angela's fucking safety, but now I have to worry about yours too! The second we found out KP was interested in you, we all had clear instructions that we were to look after you, but me, its my job to ensure to you're okay whenever KP's dumbass ain't around. So yeah, you're gonna keep hanging around us until he comes back, this way I at least know you're safe. What if I hadn't showed up yesterday, Red? Huh?! How the fuck where you gonna get yourself out of that mess?"

"I can take care of myself," I mumble under my breath.

"Oh I'm sure of it," he says sarcastically. "Believe me, you're not only one who's unhappy about this, now sit the fuck down."

"No," I take a step back.

"You're really starting to piss me off, Red."

"I don't care!" I take another step back and Dion inches closer every time. "I'm tired of you guys thinking you can boss me around! I'm tired of being told what to do! He broke up with me! That should've been clear instructions to leave me the fuck alone! Why don't you actually go looking for him instead of trying to take care of me, because he obviously doesn't give a fuck about me, or anything, if you guys can't even get ahold of him!"

"What does she mean.." Angela says softly, shaking her head.

"Nothing," Dion growls. "It's fine, Ang."

"You didn't know?" I mumble, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Shut the fuck up, Red."

"No!" Angela blurts out, walking towards me. "What did you mean he should go looking for him?"

"Uh-" I glance at Dion behind her, who's now glaring the shit out of me.

"Stop looking at him and tell me, Hailey!"

I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know! His parents came looking for him last night because apparently he hasn't been home in days."

"Wait a minute, his dad actually went to your house?" I nod slowly. "W-what, what else did he say?"

"Not much, just that he hasn't been home and that they can't get ahold of him."

Angela doesn't say anything, she stares at me blankly, her eyes immediately watering up. She turns around so that her back is facing me, and she now facing Dion. "Did you know?" She utters. He doesn't respond and looks down at the ground.

She quickly walks up to him, placing her hands on his chest, "you knew this whole time and you didn't tell me!" She shoves him back a couple times until the back of his knee's are hitting the table, and his ass is connecting with the bench.

"Ang, plea-" But Angela never gives Dion the chance to plead his case, her hand is soon connecting with the side of his face, leaving a nasty red mark on his cheek.

"You lied to me," she snarls through clenched teeth. "You said he was fine! You said he just needed some space, he just needed to clear his head!"

Dion slowly turns to look at her, one of the meanest grimaces I have ever seen, his chest slowly rising up and down as if he's trying his hardest not to explode. He stands up to his full height, hovering over Angela, his face inches away from her. "Thats what he told me when I left him," he growls. "He said he wasn't gonna come to school because he needed time to think, for me to take care of things. Next thing I know his parents are at my fucking house looking for him, because the idiota told them he was staying with me. I was caught of guard, I didn't know what the fuck to say. An emergency meeting was call immediately, and your dad specifically said to leave you out of this, or am I wrong, Ric?"

I glance along with Angela to see Patrick shaking his head, "your dad said he would personally chop our dicks off and make us gag on them if anyone told you what was happening."

"He didn't want you worrying after what happened over the weekend," Dion says placing his hands on the side of Angela's arms.

My phone starts to ring in my bag but I'm too caught up in what's happening in front of me that i don't bother with it and let it ring.

"Oh my god," Angela sobs, placing a hand over her mouth. "He probably thinks I hate him. He called me repeatedly over the weekend and I ignored everyone of his calls."

"Shhh, no, no, no," Dion places a hand on the back of her head, pulling her in for a hug. "Don't cry, Ang. This is exactly why you're dad wanted you out of this. I'm sure that's the last thing on his mind right now."

My phone continues to vibrate for a second time, but this time I don't ignore it. I pull it out of my bag, and I immediately want to throw up when I see that I have a missed call and a text message.

I look up to find Dion staring at me, he clenches his eyebrows together, slightly tilting his head, his arms still wrapped around Angela. "What's wrong, Red?" I shake my head, tears instantly threatening to spill from my eyes. He unwraps his arms from Angela, stepping around her. "What is it, Summers? All of the color suddenly drained from your face just now."

"He called me," I whispered looking down at my phone, staring at Isaac's name on my screen.

"What? When?" My phone's suddenly being yanked out of my hand.

Dion swipes his thumb across my screen and I know that he's calling him back because he now has my phone pressed up to his face, and I can hear the dial tone from here, but he doesn't answer, it continues to ring until it goes to his voicemail. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Dion snarls.

At first I think he's talking to me, or just talking out loud in general, when I realized that he's actually leaving a message. "You have some fücking balls calling her and ignoring every single one of my calls. You better swear to God that your dad finds you before I do, KP, because if I do I'm gonna beat the living shit out of you! The fuck is your problem?! You got half of your dads men out here looking for your fucking dumbass, while your moms at home crying her fucking heart out because she thinks your laying in a ditch somewhere!"

He ends the call handing me my phone back, "unlock it, there's a message." I quickly nod my head and unlock my phone, "what does it say?"

I read the text message out loud. "Bummer wish you would've answered. And then there's an address.."

"What? Let me see." I hand my phone back to Dion and watch him read the message for himself. He instantly shakes his head, "this doesn't sound like him, I've never once heard that idiot use the word bummer."

"What's the address to?" Angela asked while walking up behind Dion.

"I'm not sure," He shrugs, pulling his own phone out of his pocket. He messes around with his his iPhone for a couple seconds, googling the address I assume, when he swear's under his breath and looks up at me. "You ever ditch school, Red?" I shake my head no because I really haven't, and Dion chuckles softly. "That was a stupid question, of course you haven't, but you can't say that after today."

"Wait, huh? Why? Where are we going?"

"On a little road trip," he replies. The lunch bell rings indicating lunch is over, "get your shit, Ang, lets go, Ric."

"You want me to go too?" Patrick furrows his eyebrows, throwing his food away, as Angela quickly grabs her bag.

"Wait no, where are we going?" I question.

Dion shakes his head, "I just need you to help me get the girls over."

"Over? Over where?" I look back at forth from Dion and Patrick.

"The back gate," Dion answers. "The address is to a Marriott Hotel a little out side of town. I want to go as soon as possible before he decides to change his mind and leave."

I instantly start to shake my head, "I can't leave school, my dad will kill me if he finds out I ditched."

Dion grabs Angela's hand pulling her towards me, along with him. He hands me my phone and I grab it, but Dion doesn't necessarily let go yet, "I need you, Red." He mutters, releasing my phone. "He didn't text me, he didn't message Ang, Ric, he reached out to you, and only you. If I show up without you I know damn well he's not gonna open that door, please. I'll handle everything here, you don't have to worry about that, I'll even get you home before your dad. I really need you to do this for me."

"You were literally just yelling at me two seconds ago.."

"I know, I'm sorry," he apologizes.

"Please, Hailey. This might be our only chance to find him right now," Angela adds.

I take a deep breath and nod my head, "okay, let's go."

Angela immediately squeals and wraps her arms around me, squeezing the dear life out of me, "thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Alright enough, Ang. Let's go," Dion pulls her off of me, and starts walking towards the back of the school. "You're not gonna regret this, Red, I promise," Dion says quietly besides me. "I got your back if it starts to get ugly."

I smile up at him but don't respond. I had a weird feeling about all of this, but I couldn't really figure out why. I was mostly just scared to see him, scared of what could happen. Why did he want to see me and not his friends? What if he just wanted to yell some more, I don't think I can handle it, I wasn't ready to face him just yet. But then I started thinking about his mom and how worried she's been, about Angela and how sad and hurt she was that they kept this from her, and decided to put my own problems to the side and do this for them.

We walked to the back of the school, the same place where Isaac tore my heart out, the same place where I'd last seen him, and Dion immediately climbs over the gate, landing on the other side. "Come on, Ang, you first." She nods handing Dion her bag through the bars, he grabs it placing on the ground and Patrick walks up behind her.

He places his hands on her waist, "ready?" She nods and then he's lifting her up into the air, as she's throws her legs over the gate. Dion immediately reaches up for her, grabbing her by the waist, setting her on the ground.

"Come on, Red, hand Ang your bag."

I nervously nod my head and take my bag off my shoulder, handing it to Angela. "You'll be okay, just close your eyes," she smiles reaching for my bag.

I nod my head rapidly and immediately feel Patrick stand behind me, "ready?" He whispers and I nod again. I instantly shut my eyes the second I feel his hands on my waist, "by the way, don't tell KP I put my hands on you," he whispers into my ear before lifting me. "He'll fucking kill me."

I open my eyes and laugh softly, "I won't," and next thing I know of I'm being lifted off the ground, and I'm hanging onto Patrick's hold around me, afraid that he'll drop me. He instructs me to climb over the gate like Angela had done so and I do. Dion's instantly at my side, telling me to let go of Patrick, that he has me. It takes a while, but I finally manage to pry my hands away from him, when I hear Dion chuckling softly.

"You're on the ground, Red, you can let go."

I open my eyes slowly to realize that my feet are planted on the floor, but my arms are still wrapped around Dion's neck. I quickly let go taking a step back and mumble, "sorry."

He laughs it off, shaking his head, "you good?" I nod. "Alright, let's go."

Angela hands me my bag and we start walking towards the front of the school, when Dion tells us to wait near the 500's building while he goes to get his Jeep. He comes back almost instantly and we're loading up into his truck. I like always sit in the back while Angela rides shot gun with Dion up front.

Our "little road trip" ends up being over a half an hour drive, when we finally pull up to the fancy hotel and Dion's parking his Jeep. The drive here was actually pretty quiet, I mean afar from Dion telling me what to do when we got here, him and Angela really didn't talk.

"Fucking bitch, you know what I just realized," Dion mumbles while killing his engine. Angela and I look up at him letting him continue, and he looks over his shoulder, glancing at me, I was sitting behind the passenger seat. "There's no room number in that text message, is there?"

"No," I instantly reply.

"Why would he send her the address, but not the room number?"

"I don't know," Dion answers Angela, reaching for his backpack that he had threw back here. He places it on his lap, starting to unzip it, "something doesn't feel right though." I look away for a quick second when I see him pulling out a gun from his jansport, tucking it away into the back of his jeans, covering it with his hoodie. "Come on, let's go," he says reaching for his door handle.

The three of us unload from his truck and quietly make our way to the entrance of the tall building. I'm surprise to find out that the lobby's actually pretty dead, compared to all the cars parked in the parking lot. There's one guy working at the front desk, he eagerly smiles when he see's us walking in his direction.

"Good afternoon," he greets us. "How can I help you lovely people?"

"Hi," Dion smiles, and I think this is the very first time I've actually ever seen him smile. "Do you by any chance have an Isaac Matteo checked in at this hotel?"

"Oh I'm sorry sir, I'm not allowed to give out that kind of information."

Dion starts to laugh softly, "no you're right, how silly of me. Confidential, right?" The Marriott employee smiles sadly, apologizing to Dion. "No, please, you're just doing you're job." Dion then pulls his gun out, placing it on top of the desk in between the desk clerk and him, his hand still clinging onto it. "But you see, I too have a job to fulfill, so Ima need you to check in your little computer if my brothers here or not."

The employee quickly nods his head, "w-what, what was the last name again?" He stutters nervously.

"Matteo. I'm sure you've heard of it."

"He- He's here, only.. he didn't use that name. They used the girls I think."

My stomach immediately starts to churn.

"What are you talking about? What girl?" Dion questions.

"He was with some girl when they first got here, she actually just left a little while ago. I can't remember the name, but I personally checked them in Thursday night."

"What room?" Dion growls.

"That I don't remember," the guy admits. "It was a busy weekend."

"I don't give a fuck if it wa-"

"It's under Layla's name," I mumble quietly behind Dion and Angela.

They both quickly turn to look at me, "what did you just say? Layla, as in whore
