SURPRISE, ITS FINALLY HERE!

Isaac's POV

"What the fuck is taking so long?!" I growled, rising out of the couch.

"Isaac!" I turn behind me to find Angela's hands over Dion's little sisters ears, "language!" She huffs.

"Cause Dion doesn't say worse!" I point to Dee on the couch, who's currently playing on the Xbox as if everything were fine and dandy.

He barely tears his gaze away from the flat screen tv, a stupid ass look on his face. "Huh?"

Idiot.

All the fuckin' families were currently in my house right about now.

Dions parents were here, meaning Dee was on Adele duty, her and Angela were currently having a tea party in the middle on my living room, on my coffee table, Angela's parents were here as well.

The wives were currently hanging out in our other living room towards the back of the house, while the men of course hung around pops in his den.

I honestly couldn't understand why the fuck all these people were at my house, neither one of them were doing anything to help me get my girlfriend back, but apparently that's what friends did for each other, the hung around for moral support, stupid.

I was growing more and more irritated with every second that passed by, I was nearly seconds away from blowing up, again, for the third time tonight.

"Calm down, please," Angela murmurs, her hands still over Adele's ears.

"I can't just sit here and do nothing," I growl. "I can't just sit around waiting for a possibility that might or might not happen!"

"Isaac-"

"No!" I begin to shout over Angela's voice, immediately noticing her flinch.

This instantly catches Dion's attention and he finally puts the Xbox controller down.

"Honestly, Ang, what makes you think he'll even call back? Why the fuck should we trust him?! For all we know Verdino could be behind all this, this could all be some type of set up!" I spat.

"Because it's all we have!" Dion snarls, getting off of the couch. "Because it's all you fucking have!" He points in my direction, taking a step forward.

"I get it, KP, believe me, I do, you're upset, you're frustrated, you're anxious," he continues to inch forward. "But do not take it out on my family!"

"Dion," Angela grabs ahold of Dee's sweater as he walks by, but quickly lets go when he gently swats her hand away. "Babe!"

"Hallway. Now." He grits walking passed me.

I annoyingly roll my eyes and follow Dion out of my living room and into my hall way.

"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" He immediately barks once we're a good distance from the living room. "She's done nothing but fuckin' be there for you all night!" He points back in the direction we just came from. "You think you're the only one who's upset here, Isaac? You think you're the only one who's fuckin' tired?! Who's irritable, who's frustrated?!" He continues to shout.

I look away from him.

"I can assure you that we're all on the same boat, KP! We didn't get one ounce of fuckin' because she wanted to make sure that she was there for you the second you needed her! If you really need to take out on someone, then taking it out on me, not her, do you understand me?!"

"I'm sorry," I mutter under my breath, flattening myself against the wall, sliding my way down until I'm sitting on the ground.

"It's been hours.." I mumble.

Dion sighs long and hard. He takes a step forward and crouches down in front of me, "I know, KP, I know, but there's literally nothing that we can do but wait. You know that we have no control or power over what happens over there, dude."

I nod agreeing with him because he's right. We were all currently waiting on Zebediah, Zeb, Zebbie, whatever the fück you wanted to call him.

My faith was currently laying in the hands of Hailey's brother's old elementary school friend, who just so happened to be one of Verdino's newly recruits from about two years ago.

Caleb had rushed over to my house earlier today, how I knew where I lived beats me. He was going on about Zeb calling him from some unknown number, telling him that Hailey was with him, that he didn't want to see her get hurt, he wanted to help. He gave him clear instructions not to call any of the numbers he would be contacting us with, apparently he was using burner phones so he wouldn't get caught and was getting rid of the phones the second he got in contact with Caleb.

Zeb's called Caleb once since this morning, once, I was starting to think that he was gonna flake out on us, I mean why wouldn't he, he didn't have anything to lose. He texted Caleb more time than called, saying little things here and there, nothing that was ever helpful to us up until three hours ago. Zeb texted us for the last time that he would soon send us the address when he found out what time the shift change and the 'house' was the emptiest. It nearly drove me insane that we couldn't even reply to his text messages.

"I don't trust him," I admit softly. "I wanna believe him so bad, but I can't find myself to fuckin' trust him."

"I know," Dion replies. "Neither do I, but he's all we got right now."

I look up at my best friend, "what if he doesn't call back, what if this is their plan all along? What if I'm too late?"

Dion starts to shake his head, "stop, we can't afford to think like that right now, Isaac. He's gonna call, we're gonna find her, you're gonna bring her home, we're gonna end this. Just give him a little more time."

"Why?" I asked.

Dion quickly frowns.

"I can't seem to understand why he's willing to help us out. Why he's willing to risk his own life for hers.."

"KP-"

"Nah honestly, Dee, what the fuck is he gonna get out of this?"

"I don't know, man I really don't. I wish I had answers for you, KP, but I don't. All I can literally do is be here for you, dude. You didn't give up on Ang and me when we needed you the most, and we're definitely not gonna give up on you, but you need to stop acting like a sad sack of shit and pull yourself together. We have an inside man for the love of God, Isaac. It may not be one of our guys, or who you want, but it's all we got, and it's good enough to give us the jump start that we need, so what the fuck are we gonna do? Are we gonna sit here on our asses the rest of the evening and just wait around like we have been," Dion stands up to his full height, extending his hand out in front of me. "Or you gonna get up and do what the fuck you do best and come up with a plan for when the time actually comes?"

I stare at Dion's hand a few inches away from me and then glance up at him, eventually clasping my hand with his and he's quickly pulling me off of the ground.

Dion was right, he always seemed to be, sadly. I needed to stop acting like a little bitch and start acting like the king pin I was raised to be. People feared my father for a reason, because when it came down to his job, to the family, he wasn't a husband, he wasn't a dad, he was the god damn mafia boss, he was ruthless, he was insensitive, he didn't break underneath the pressure, and it was time that I started living up to The Matteo name again.

"I have it!" Caleb comes running from down the hall, stoping a couple feet away from us.

"Have what?" Dion questions.

He picks up his hand and sticks his unlocked phone in front of me, I take it from him staring down at the screen and quickly look back up at him.

"Is this-?"

Caleb quickly nods his head rapidly, "the time and address," he confirms. "Your dad asking for the both of you."

I turn to look at Dion, "let's go get this fucker."

Dion's lips slowly start tug to the side in a small smirk, "theres the Matteo that everyone loathes and fears," he says, patting a hand on the back of my shoulder blade.

Hailey's POV

Surprisingly the guy from Axel's office walks into my room about fifteen minutes later, a white bag and drink in his hand. I would've assumed that Ax would've changed his mind about feeding me, but guess I was wrong.

The light haired man doesn't say anything as he's dropping off my food, he lays the bag on top of my mattress near my legs, setting the drink down on the floor and exits the room.

I wait a couple minutes after he's gone to retrieve the white box out of the bag. I open it two find that the loaded mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are in their own little containers inside of the white box. I don't touch the steak, nor the mac and cheese, I grabbed the mashed potatoes and remove the lid, reaching for the spoon I dig it into my mashy mess a shove a spoonful into my mouth, savoring every little bite. I actually wanna cry with how good the potatoes taste, or maybe I'm just that hungry.

I continue to eat my potatoes until I'm nearly done with them and reach for the drink that's sitting next to me. I remove the lid and toss it in the bag to find a clear drink inside of the cup, taking the smallest drink from it; It's Sprite.

I stare at the light soda as my eyes start to fill up with tears as I begin to think of Isaac, he's actually the one who got me into the habit of not using a straw whenever I got something to drink.

I set the small container of potatoes down beside me, suddenly losing the little appetite that I did have. I grab the bag with the rest of the food and set it to the side as well, placing the lid back on the soda, careful not to spill it.

I was suddenly feeling sick to my stomach. I missed Isaac so freaking much, I missed my family, I just wanted him or my dad to come get me already, but truth be told I didn't even know if Isaac knew I was missing. More tears eventually start to stream down my face until I'm actually crying and I can no longer breathe.

I grab the pillow from behind me and lay back down on the mattress hugging the dear life out of it, I had it flat against the hard wall so it wouldn't hurt my back as I leaned against it. I don't know how long I end up crying for, all I know is that I end up crying myself back to sleep, praying to God that this was all just some nightmare and I'm waking up in my own bed or in Isaac's arms.

Evidently that doesn't happen. I wake up in the same dark empty room, not knowing if I was asleep for a few minutes or a couple hours, there's no damn windows or clocks in here. The room is not as quiet as it was before, there's actually loud muffled yelling coming from outside of the room. I push myself up a bit, slowly tilting my head trying to make out what the voices are saying but it's not use, all I can hear is muffles.

My door flies open the next second and I'm quickly sitting up as I watch someone get brutally shoved into the room, and they're falling down on their hands and knee's. I hear them breathe heavily for a few seconds before they start to wheeze and actually look up.

I immediately gasp when I see that it's Zeb, but that's not why I'm so shocked. Zeb's poor face is covered in blood, his right eye is nearly swollen shut. I wanna inch closer towards him but do the exact opposite when Axel is bargaining into the room a second later, his gun in his right hand, pointing it in my direction.

"You!" He snarls bending down to grab a handful of Zeb's hair, pulling him up. "This is all on you!" He points back to Zeb.

Zeb winces a bit as Ax continues to pull on his hair, and looks me in the eyes. "I'm sorry," he mumbles and I immediately frown.

"Oh now you're sorry?" Ax retorts.

Zeb immediately begins to chuckle softly as he glances up at him, "I was talking to her," he wheezes.

Me?

Axel instantly lets go off him, quickly snapping his attention towards me. I look up at him just as confused as he is, mildly shaking my head, when I see the switch in his eyes, the pure hatred and anger being released.

Axel grabs a hold of Zeb's chin, forcing his head back he leans his face down beside him, snarling into his ear, digging his gun into his chin. "I hope it was fucking worth it, Zeb!"

Worth what? What the hell is he talking about!

Zeb continues to wheeze deeply as he looks up at Axel and smiles, "it was."

If Ax wasn't angry before, he definitely was now, he pistol whips Zeb and is instantly falling to the floor, as Axel begins to curse in Italian.

I manage to swallow my fear and get out of my corner, crawling to the end of the mattress. Zeb is back down on all fours about a foot away from me.

"What did you do?" I whisper harshly.

He looks up at me, "what I felt was right," he says in a soft stern voice.

I immediately frown and look up the second I hear axel scoff, "I should've listened to my father," he cocks his gun pointing it down at Zeb.

My heart rate spikes as my heart begins to slam in my chest.

"AX, NO!!"

I immediately turn to look away from them, when he fires three gun shots and I'm immediately flinching at each one.

"Once an outsider, always an outsider," he growls.

I start to open my eyes, slowly removing my hands away from my ears, as I slowly turn to face Axel again and see Zeb laying on the ground motionless, his eyes wide open, red puddles beginning to grow in the back of his shirt.

"Y-you killed him," I murmur, staring down at his bleeding body.

Axel points his gun in my direction, "and you're next if you don't get up in the next few seconds."

I start to slowly shake my head as Axel shouts at me to get up one last time before the door is suddenly bursting open again and Cris is stepping inside of the room.

He pauses dead in his tracks taking in the scenery, "What the f-," he pauses again, murmuring under his breath.

He looks in my direction but he's not staring at me, he's looking down at the body that just a couple feet away. He glances at me for a quick second and frowns.

"What the hell happened in here?!" He glances over to his cousin now, "the hell did you do, Ax?!" He exclaims, pointing over to Zeb's lifeless body.

Axels quickly scoffs, "It was you, wasn't it?" He uses his gun to point it at Cris now.

"What?"

"You were in on the whole thing, weren't you!" He points back to Zeb's body on the ground.

Cris glances to Zeb's body as Ax continues points to it.

"What the fück are you talking about?"

Ax shakes his head in disbelief as Cris inches closer towards his cousin until he's at arms length.

"Of course it was you," he mumbles. "Who else has connections to that side of town! How else would Z get in contact with Matteo!"

Wait, what?

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Cris fires back. "What do you mean he got in contact with The Matteo's?" Axel doesn't say anything. "Ax," Cris places a hand on his shoulder, "talk to me!"

Only Ax doesn't say anything in return and I'm immediately flinching at the sound of another gun shot.

I quickly look over at the two boys standing a few feet away from me to find Axel pointing his gun at Cris's lower stomach, as Cris stares at his cousin, his face contouring in pain.

He instantly removes his hand from his cousin's shoulder and looks down at where Ax shot him, quickly placing his hand over his wound, staring at the blood that's now steeping through, looking back up at Axel.

"W-why-"

"You're good," Axel scoffs letting Cris fall to the ground.

He crouches down beside him, "you almost had me, Cris. But did you honestly think I wouldn't do anything because we're family?"

Cris chuckles looking up at Ax, "y-you're a bigger fuckin' idiot than I thought if you if actually think I would cross you."

"I'm not fuckin' stupid, Crissy, I had a fucking feeling it was you!" Ax stands up to his full height, still aiming his gun down at his cousin. There's a disappointed look on his face, "I was just hoping I was wrong."

"I didn't fuckin' do anythin'!" Cris growls, picking his head up, wincing, as his hand clings onto his wound.

"I took care of you like if you were my little brother, Cris! And this is how you repay me!?"

"I didn't do anything!" He grits with clenched teeth. "Listen to yourself, Ax, the paranoia's getting to your fuckin' head!"

It looks like Ax wants to say something but he never gets the chance to, a loud buzzing sound starts to ring through the entire warehouse.

"Now what!" He grumbles and turns towards the door, leaving the room for a few seconds.

The loud alarms begin make my head hurt more than it already does. I quickly get off of my mattress and make my way over to Cris, kneeling down next to him as he continues to lay there in pain. I motion to place my hand on top of his, but don't, they just hover over his, trembling.

"H- he shot y-you," I state the obvious. "D-don't move," I shake my head. "K-keep pressure on it," I urged.

Cris chuckles softly which only ends up making him cough, "y-you're trying to save my life?" He frowns, looking up at me.

I smile gently about to say something, when the door bursts open and Axel is walking back in.

"We gotta go," he snapped, making his way over to us. For a second I think he's talking to Cris, up until his hand is wrapped into the back of my hair and he's pulling me up to my feet.

"Ow, ow, ow," I cry,

"Ax!" Cris snarls.

"Get up!" He barks, and I quickly do so.

Ax stares down at his cousin as Cris continues to wince in pain, holding onto his bleeding wound.

"I'll deal with you later if they don't kill you first," he grins and instantly starts pulling me out of the room.

"Ow!" I continue to cry out in pain, attempting to keep up with his fast pace. "Ax, ow!! Stop! Let go! I can walk on my own!"

Axel comes to quick halt as we walk down the long hall way, he releases my hair quickly raising his gun, holding it against my temple. "SHUT. THE FUCK. UP. SUMMERS!" Is all he says, well snarls actually.

My chest begins to rise up and down as I look up at his menacing stare, "I'm about two fuckin' seconds away from putting a hole in between those pretty green eyes," he taps the barrel of his gun against my head. "So I'd shut the fuck up right about now!"

I nod my head not uttering a single word. Axel's large hand then wraps around my right arm, tightly, rather than in my hair and continues to pull me with him until we're descending down the stairs and I'm surprised to see that there's guys running all over the place, in a hurried manner.

"What's going on, Ax? What's happening?" I glance up at him as he drags me across the room, in the complete opposite direction of his office. He doesn't say anything, he ignores me as he continues to shout in Italian to the few men that are in the building.

The guy from earlier, the one who brought me my food, runs up to us, handing a set of keys to Axel.

"The backs clear for you boss, she's ready to go."

Ax quickly snatches the keys from him and releases my arm as he digs into his pants, fetching another set of keys out, handing them over to the fellow.

"No one follows us, NO ONE," Ax grumbles.

The guy instantly nods his head and we're all turning our head towards the direction of Axel's office when we hear a gun shot from a distance and my anxiety immediately starts to spike.

I take a step back, standing directly next to Axel, wanting to hide behind him.

"Ax, what's going?" I repeat my
