Hailey's POV

Three days.

It's been three days since I've last seen Isaac, three days that he hasn't came to school, three days that he's been out doing some work for his dad. It's not that I hadn't talked to Isaac these passed three days, he's been texting me whenever he got the chance, calling me here and there. He said if he finished whatever he was doing early that he would be back in school on Friday, but it's the end of the day and Isaac wasn't in second period this morning.

I texted him saying good morning since I fell asleep on him last night, but never heard back from him. I personally thought it was a real inconvenience that his father was making him miss so much school to do God knows what for him. I mean, didn't he have other men for this type of thing? What if he didn't make it back on time before Saturday? I really didn't want him to cancel our date, I was actually looking forward to it, I was excited.

"Have you heard from KP today?" Angela whispers to my left.

I shake my head and whisper back, "no."

She smiles shrugging it off, "what are you doing after school?"

"Nothing," I tell her. "Just go home."

"Sofi and I are gonna go grab a bite, you should totally join us. We can make it a girls date!" She squeals. Mr. Lynch looks up from the overhead projector in front of us, glaring over our way. We're suppose to be taking notes at the moment.

I smiled sympathetically and he continues his lecture. "I can't," I whisper over to Angela. "Madison giving me a ride home."

"Invite her too!!" She says.

"Ms. Desoto!" Mr. Lynch grumbles, looking back over at us.

"I know, I know, I'm sorry." She shrugs, apologizing. Mr. Lynch scolds her one last time, turning his attention back to the projector. "Bring her with you," she lowers her voice. "The more the merrier right?"

"I'll ask her," i whisper back smiling.

We stay quiet for the remaining of the period and focus on the lesson Mr. Lynch is giving, copying notes down. Well attempting to focus. My mind can't help but wonder over to Isaac every now and then. I'm really starting to miss him, I wish he would at least text me back, but he's probably busy like Angela says. I sneak my phone out my bag to check if I have any messages from him but sadly I don't. I take this time to text Madison asking her if she would like to go eat with Angela and her friend, and of course she doesn't reject the chance to hang out with the Italian goddess.

After class is over Angela and I wait patiently for Madison and Sofia in the school corridor. I'm actually a little surprised when I see Madison and Patrick walking towards us. Patrick has his right arm swung around her shoulders, smiling down at her as she talks to him.

Angela sighs besides me, "I love Patrick, I really do, but he is not boyfriend material," she glances at me. "I'd talk to Maddy if I were you, he's only gonna hurt her in the end if she gets attached."

I slowly nod but don't respond in return as Madison, Ric, and their friend Sofia have made it to where we're standing.

"Um, where do you think you're going?" Angela arches an eyebrow at Patrick.

"Maddy said you girls where gonna go grab something to eat," he smiles.

"Ew, don't call her Maddy. Only I can call her Maddy!" Angela playfully shoves Patrick and his arm comes loose from around Madison. "And yeah, us girls.. as in you're not invited, Ric!"

Patrick narrows his eyes at Angela while shaking his head, "you're so rude." He murmurs. Angela doesn't respond, she only rolls her eyes and we start to make our way towards the front gate. Some guys standing around call Patrick over as we're walking, and he immediately walks over to them without a goodbye.

I see the sudden disappointment in Madison face and go intwine my arm with hers, "no sad faces," I tell her. She smiles and nods gently, "you still need to tell me what happen by the way." I remind her and she nods for a second time.

Madison is about to say something when Angela quickly beats her to the punch, "uh, Hailey?" She says looking behind her and I glance over at her. She inclines her head ahead in front of her and I turn to look at what she's pointing to, when the butterflies start going crazy in my stomach. It's him. Isaac's here, in the front of the school, he's standing next to his car in the drop off zone. I turn to Angela smiling, and she immediately smiles back, nodding her head.

I unhook my arm from Madison and tell her, "I'll be back," and make my way over to Isaac. He pushes himself off of his car when he see's me walking towards him and meets me half ways.

I immediately throw myself into his arms, hugging the dear life out of him. Isaac begins to chuckle as he leans down wrapping his arms around my body, and murmurs into my ear. "I didn't think you would miss me this much."

The sound of his deep, soft, voice only makes me realize how much I've actually missed him and hug him even tighter, pressing my face against his chest. "I was beginning to worry that something happened to you, I didn't hear from you in all day."

Isaac loosens his hold from around me and cups my face with his hands, giving me a searing kiss in front of everyone, in front of his friends. He pulls back keeping his hold on my face, "nothing's ever gonna happen to be me, baby, I'm fine." He removes his hands from my face and digs into his jean pocket, pulling out his now shattered phone. "This is why you haven't heard from me," he smiles. "I broke it early this morning and haven't had a chance to go get a new one. I could've easily gone to get one on the way home, or I could've came to pick you up. And guess which one I went with."

"Hmmm, the phone?" I smile looking up at him.

"Oh yeah," he chuckles, "you betcha, the phone." He smiles and leans back down, placing another kiss on my lips.

"Ew, okay. Break it up love birds, we have a date to get to." Angela's voice rings from behind me.

Isaac cocks his head to the side, "date?" He questions.

I nod, "girls date. She invited Madison and I to go eat with her and Sofia."

"Is that so?" He smirks and looks to Angela then back to myself. "Mind if I join you?"

I don't get the chance to answer for myself because Angela is quickly talking over me, again. "Um, yes," she walks up to me, grabbing my arm, pulling me away from Isaac towards her. "Do you know what girls date means, KP? No boys allowed."

Isaac smiles mischievously and walks up to Angela, easily towering over her 5'7 height. Angela and I are actually around the same height, but seeing how she was always wearing heels she always looked taller than me. Isaac grabs my hand gently pulling me behind him, and let's go. "First of all," he states, holding up one finger in front of Angela's face. "Don't ever touch what's mine. And second," he holds up two fingers this time. "I don't care whether you want me there or not. I have not seen this girl," he points back at me now. "In three days, and I'll be damned if I let's some 'girls' date stop me."

I really can't tell anymore if Isaac's still messing around, he seems to be smiling still, but his voice means business. Angela stays quiet scolding Isaac, when Dion, Patrick, and a few more guys walk over to us.

"What's going on over here my amigos?" Dion wraps his arm around Angela's shoulder, bringing her into him, and she quickly removes it off of her.

"Ang was just saying how she wants us all to grab something to eat.. Tino's Pizza, right?" Isaac adds on only to aggravate her some more.

She continues to glare at Isaac, "oh shit, I'm down for some Tino's!" Dion says excitedly.

"You just said I couldn't go, but you're inviting Issac?!" Patrick exclaims, walking up to Angela.

"Shut up, Ric!" She cries, hitting him in his lower stomach and turns to walk towards all the parked cars.

"You're always hitting me!" Patrick shouts at her while he rubs the area where she hit him. Angela continues walking towards her Camaro, flipping Patrick off behind her.

"Why's she mad?" Dion chuckles.

Isaac smiles wrapping an arm around me, "I invited myself to her girls date," he grins.

Dion scoffs walking passed us, shoving Isaac on the shoulder, "and then you made it a group thing? You're a dick." He snorts.

Isaac laughs in return and turns us around, starting to walk towards his car behind Dion, but I come to halt placing my hand on his chest. "Can Madison come with us?" I ask him softly.

He nods smiling and turns to look behind him, "Maddy!" He calls out and she turns to look over at us. She stayed behind with Patrick, talking to him. "You wanna ride with us?" He asks her.

She politely declines, "no thank you, I have my car. I'll meet you guys there."

We both nod and continue our walk to his car, as usual Isaac opens up the passenger door for me and I slide inside. Tino's pizzeria is only about a ten minute drive from the school so we get there in no time. Angela and Sofia are the first ones to the restaurant, they have two square tables that are connected to each other saved for the rest of her friends. Isaac and I are the last to show up to the restaurant, and when we walk in I noticed that Patrick's already here talking with Dion, but I don't see Madison anywhere in sight.

Isaac gently tugs on my hand, "what's wrong, Hail? Who you looking for?"

"Madison," I speak softly. "She's not here."

Isaac clenches his eyebrows and takes a look around the restaurant, assuming that he's looking for Madison as well. "Ric!" His deep voice bellows.

Patricks immediately gets up from the table where he was sitting and walks over to us. Isaac and I are currently standing in line, waiting to order the pizzas. He feels the need to pay for the food since he knows Angela is pretty upset about him inviting himself, and the guys. It's his way of being sorry without actually having to say he's sorry.

"Where's Maddy?" Isaac instantly ask's Ric. I love how Isaac and all his friends refer to her as Maddy now, I know for a fact that she gets a real kick out of it as well.

"I don't know," Patrick shrugs his shoulders. "Her mom called her and said that she had to go home, or something like that." He tells us.

I let go of Isaac's hand and pull my phone out from my bag, "Im going to call her, make sure that she's alright." I point behind me.

Isaac nods, "don't go too far."' He adds.

I smile and walk a few feet away from him, standing next to the salad bar. I dial Madison's number twice, and she doesn't answer on both rings. I call her one last time as I start to walk back toward Isaac and Dion now, but she still doesn't answer and it starts to makes me a little worried.

"Is she okay?" Isaac asks.

I shrug my shoulders, "I called her three times and she didn't answer."

"Hmm, why don't you try texting her? That way she'll see the message whenever she does get back to her phone." I nod agreeing with him and send Madison a quick message.

"Are you okay? Where are you? Call me."

I'm putting my phone back into the bag when the pizzeria's employee calls us up to the counter and Dion and Isaac start ordering some pizza's. They ended up getting four pizza's in total, and split the bill in half. They ended up ordering a pizza with just pepperoni, extra to be exact, Dion loves his pepperoni apparently. Isaac then ordered a pineapple with sausage for me when I told him that he didn't need to, but did so anyways. They also order a supreme pizza, along with a meat lovers for Patrick, some drinks and an order of wings.

After a few minutes of waiting around for the pizza and doing some talking, we decided to move to the back of the restaurant into the little arcade room because the boys wanted to play some games, meaning Dion and Ric. Isaac eventually ditched me and gave into his kid side and went to go play on the arcade games along with his friends. I sat there with the girls watching him, admiring him, he almost seemed like a normal teenager, not some intimidating mafia leaders son.

The pizza eventually got here but the boys were too preoccupied with their games to care. I grabbed two different slices of pizza and placed them onto my plate and walked over to Isaac standing next to him. He was currently sitting down playing some racing game, and from the looks of it he seemed to be in second place.

"Whatcha got there?" He smiles, quickly glancing at the plate in my hand then focusing back on his game.

"Pizza," I say shyly.

"For me?" He smirks and I nod. He looks back to the pizza, his hand, then to myself. "You mind?" He asks. "Hands are a little occupied at the moment."

I giggle and shake my head, "which one?"

I lower the plate a bit so he can see both slices of pizza, I had grabbed a slice of supreme and a slice of pineapple and sausage. "It doesn't matter," he smiles.

I grab the supreme slice of pizza and bring it up to his face so he can take a bite of it. I feed him about two more bites when he finally wins his race and only has the crust left on the plate. He grabs the crust and shoves it into his mouth, making his way off of the game. He pulls the little crust he has left from his lips and reaches from my hand, pulling me with him. "Come on," he says while chewing the bread that's in his mouth. "Let's go eat."

Patrick and Dion eventually get off of their games as well and come to the tables and join us, the boys nearly wipe out all four pizzas about half and hour later. Dion gets up grabbing his cup along with him and kindly offers to grab anyone else a refill if they need it, but we all nod our heads no and he takes off. Dion comes back just as quick as he left with a concerned, worried, look on his face, his cup still empty. He walks around me standing to my left, standing next to Isaac, whispering something into his ear. Isaac mutters a swear word under his breath, and his body is immediately tensed.

"Hey," I say softly, placing a hand on his lap. "What's wrong?"

Isaac shakes his head and is about to say something when an unfamiliar voice speaks over him. "Ricci? I thought that was you!" The voice exclaims. I look up to see a tall olive skin guy walking into the arcade room towards Dion, and a strangely familiar looking girl walking behind him.

Both guys embrace each other in a small bro hug, when Dion speaks up. "Shit, Santiago. When did you guys get back?"

Both guys pull apart from each other, as Isaac to the left of me stands up pulling me up with him. "Come on," he mutters. I get up from my seat my hand still in his, and we make our way over to the two strangers with Dion.

Dion and the Santiago guy cut their conversation short, and their attention is automatically on us. Santiago averts his eyes over at me, roaming them up and down my body and it really starts to make me uncomfortable, but it doesn't go unnoticed.

Isaac tightens his grip around my hand and pulls me behind him, "keep fucking staring, Theo, and Ima gash out those pretty green eyes."

"KP."

The guy chuckles, "it's fine, Dee.. it's been a while, Isaac."

"Not long enough," he bites back and Theo, Santiago, whatever his name is chuckles. "I thought you guys were gonna be gone the whole year?"

"We were," he states, looking over at the girl who's quietly standing next to him. I haven't missed the hard glares she been sending our way, at least I think they're towards us, or maybe it's just all in my head. "Someone here," he nudges her arm, "wanted to finish the school year with her friends."

One of the two girls sitting behind us scoffs loudly, "don't you mean hoebags.."

"Angela!" Isaac turns back to look at her, suddenly speaking to her in Italian. She huffs quickly getting up from her chair, storming out of the little area but not before walking passed Isaac, harshly bumping into his arm.

"Angela, wait!" Sofia cries, running after her.

Dion sighs shaking his head, "I'll go check on her." He says and Isaac nods his head, "I'll talk to you later, Theo."

I pull on Isaac's arm gaining his attention, "what was that about?" I whisper.

"Nothing you need to worry about," he whispers back.

"Yeah, Ima go check on our order. I'll catch you later, Isaac.. Come on, Layla." Theo says.

"I'll go right now," the girl finally breaks out of her silence. I swear that I've seen her face somewhere before, I just can't pin point it where.

"We should get going too," Isaac murmurs looking over at me.

The Italian brunette crosses her arms in front of her busty chest, leaning against the open door frame in front of us. "Leaving so soon?" She smirks.

"I got shit to do," Isaac replies bitterly, and I'm actually little taken back on how rude he's being.

"But you haven't introduce me to your friend.."

I let go of Isaac's hand walking in front of him and out stretch my arm in front of me, "I'm Hailey," I smile.

She looks down at my hand but makes no attempt to shake it, almost as if she's disgusted by it. After a couple more seconds of leaving me hanging in the air, Isaac grabs ahold of my hand bringing it back down. "Hailey's my girlfriend," he mutters and I quickly turn to gaze at him.

Girlfriend? The word sends automatic butterflies into my tummy.

Layla raises an eyebrow, amused by it for some reason. "Girlfriend?" She scoffs. "Since when are you the boyfriend material all of a sudden?"

I turn to look at both of them confused. Excuse me but am I missing something here? What's going on.

"I guess you don't know me as well as you thought you did."

Layla scoffs again pushing herself off of the door frame, "oh, I think know enough.." she quirks.

I gaze up at Isaac when he doesn't say anything in return and see him scowling her. "Let's go, Hail." He tugs on my hand pulling me along with him, making our way passed her.

"It was nice meeting you, Hailey," Layla says in a condescending tone behind us. I turn to look back at her as Isaac continues to pull us towards the exit; she's leaning back on the door way, arms crossed in front of her again. She smiles almost mischievously waving her fingers at me, when an ugly, unpleasant, feeling starts forming in my lower stomach..
