Louis' POV...

I lunged at Luciano and threw him on the ground. When his back hit the ground he groaned out in pain and I kicked him in the ribs.

I beat him to a pulp until he stopped moving. I shot him in the head and ran over to Joan.

I cut the rope from her arms and ankles and picked her up into my arms. Without wasting another second I ran upstairs with her and out to my car.

I gently placed her lifeless body onto the passenger seat of my Jeep and jumped in on my side. I started speeding into the direction of the nearest hospital.

They were keeping her on the outskirts of town. I just had to ask the right people the right questions to find her.

It all happened so fast.

This can't be it. She's not breathing. This can't be how I lose the love of my life.

This is all my fault.

I stepped on the gas and my hands harshly gripped the steering wheel.

This happened because I've killed so many people in the past, I still do. I don't think I'll ever stop doing it. It's in my nature.

I had my reasons but I should've stopped a long time ago. I should've stopped for Joan.

I will go after every single person that was involved in her kidnapping. I won't spare any of them.

I finally stopped in front of the hospital and jumped out of my car. I picked Joan up into my arms and ran over to the large building in front of me.

When I got inside a doctor and three nurses came rushing towards me. They asked me a bunch of questions before placing her on a gurney.

"Just fucking help her." I said impatiently and the doctor nodded. They ran through some doors and as I was about to walk through them I was stopped by a security guard.

"Sir, only staff members are allowed into the operating room." He said and I pushed him away from me.

"If she fucking dies in there, I will kill everyone in this fucking hospital." I said and the man nodded in fear.

I painfully went to sit on the floor as I leaned my back against the cold wall of the hospital. I ran my hand through my hair before staring up at the ceiling.

I'm so scared of losing her, I've never loved anyone as much as I love, Joan. I won't let her die. She has to survive for me. Otherwise I won't live without her.

I used to be completely fine with being alone and by myself. Until I crossed paths with Joan. She changed everything, from the way that I saw the world to the way that I felt about love.

I heard the clicking sound of heels against the tiles and when I looked up my mom stood in front of me.

"Is she gonna be-"

"I don't know." I cut my mom off before she could continue.

"Honey are you okay?" She asked carefully and I glared up at her.

"No mom. I'm not okay. This happened because of me." I told her harshly and she placed a hand on her chest.

"Honey don't say that." She said softly.

"Stop fucking calling me honey. You know what role you played in this so spare me the caring mom act." I told her before getting up from the floor and walking down the hall.

I know my mom will stay with Joan because of her guilty conscience and because she would do anything to fix our relationship, so I decided to leave. Knowing that I'm not leaving her completely alone.

I jumped into my Jeep and sped down to Jim Yakuza's house. He's in for a treat.

I parked in his driveway and jumped out of my car. I opened the front door without knocking and found him and his son sitting in the living room.

Their eyes widened when they saw me. I stopped in my tracks before taking my gun out.

"Who wants to go first?" I asked seriously and they both put their hands up.

"Louis what is going on?" Jim asked and I smirked briefly before glaring at him.

"Here's your tea." We heard a voice from behind us. The short asian lady froze in her spot and instantly put her hands in the air. She looked at me in fear so I turned my gun to her head.

I'll kill his wife, even better.

"Don't do this, Louis." Jim said and I looked at him with a frown on my forehead.

"A deals a deal, remember?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Of course. We made a deal. You, me and Ernesto Cruz. I would never betray you." He said carefully.

"Get to the point." I said impatiently.

"I don't understand why you're here." He said and I frowned then I looked at his son.

"Didn't I give you a message?" I asked him and he looked to the ground.

"Perhaps I forgot." Hinata said and I smirked before shooting him in his other leg. He cried out in pain before slumping to the ground.

"So this was all your doing?" I asked in realisation. Hinata groaned in pain and I rolled my eyes. "You're too dramatic." I said before placing my gun back into my waistband.

"Give me something valuable before I kill your wife and your son in front of you. I will let you watch them bleed to death. Then I'll kill you too." I said and Jim's jaw clenched.

"I have a lead on your father. We can kill him, Louis." Jim said in a certain tone.

"Leave." I said and Jim's wife struggled to get her son off of the ground, after a while they finally left so I looked at Jim expectantly.

"You'd better start talking." I said impatiently. I really need to get back to the hospital.

I shouldn't have left in the first place.

"We're the only ones that knows who your father is. He doesn't even know that you're his son." Jim said and I nodded once.

"What makes you think I want him dead?" I asked bluntly and Jim nodded slowly.

"Because he's the reason you've killed so many people." He said with a smile on his face. "You deserve to get revenge on him."

"What do you have in mind?" I asked him and he smiled broadly.

"He got involved in the Russian mafia last week. He's looking for weapons and we're gonna give it to him." Jim stopped and ran his hand through his hair. "We'll need to go undercover." He said pointedly.

"As in get closer to the Fedorov family?" I asked and Jim nodded.

"Try not to get on their bad side." He warned and I scoffed.

"Shouldn't that be the other way around?" I asked and he shook his head at me.

"Perhaps." Jim said with a smile on his face. "Nobody should get on your bad side either." He continued. "I think they'll like you."

"Well it was a pleasure doing business with you, Jim." I said before exiting his house.

I drove back to the hospital and when I checked the time I noticed that it had been two hours since Joan was admitted.

I walked through the long hallways of the hospital and finally spotted my mom with a coffee in her hand.

"Louis-" She started but I raised my hand so that she would stop. We both looked into the direction of the doctor that walked out of the operating room.

The doctor tiredly threw her gloves into the bin. Her uniform was covered in blood, she took her mask off and stopped in front of me.

"Are you the relatives of Joan Gibbs?" The woman asked softly and I nodded. The doctor breathed out through her nose before looking into my eyes.

First time I wrote in Louis' POV, I hope I did okay.

Let's see what the doctor will say in the next chapter. I love you guys.❤❤ Keep the vibe alive inside forever.❤
