Louis pointed his gun at Hinata's head.

"Louis don't." I begged but his eyes stayed on Hinata. "Please don't do this." I tried again and Louis's jaw clenched before he lowered his gun.

"Father is going to be so happy." Hinata said and I frowned. "You finally have a weakness." He continued.

"Get her out of here." Louis told somebody who grabbed me by my shoulders.

"Come on, Joan." River said and I pushed him away from me.

"No let me go." I said and as I walked back into his office, Louis shot Hinata in his left leg. My hands flew to my mouth when I saw the lifeless bodies of his men surrounding him.

"Tell your father a deals a deal." Louis said before placing his gun back into his waistband. "Take him out of here." Louis said before walking towards me.

"Joan?" He asked when he finally saw me. "You weren't supposed to see that." He said and a tear slipped from my eye. He rested his hand on my shoulder and I inched back from him.

"I begged you, Louis." I cried before walking backwards.

"You don't understand. If I did nothing they would see it as a sign of weakness. I have to protect you, Joan." He said but I wasn't having any of it.

"You had a choice, there was another way." I whispered before turning away from him and stepping into the elevator.

When I reached the lobby a woman gestured me over with her hand. I slowly walked over to her and plastered a smile on my face.

"Hi darling, you must work here. I saw you coming out of the elevator just now and I was wondering if you could show me to my son's office. I haven't been here in years." The woman said and I sighed.

"Well who's your son?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"Oh your boss. Louis." She said and my mouth almost hung open. I did not see that coming.

I can't take her to his office he just killed four men. I have to keep her busy.

"I should call in first. He likes things to be very planned out." I said and she nodded with a smile on her face.

"Yes, he's always been like that." She said and so I went behind the receptionist desk and called to his office.

It was silent when he picked up so I rolled my eyes.

"Your mom is here, and she wants to see you. Should I send her up?" I asked and there was silence. "Are you there?" I asked with a frown on my face.

"Dolcezza?" He asked and I almost snorted.

"Yes." I said trying to supress my laughter.

"Wait right there, I'll come to you guys." He said and I sighed in frustration because I can't stay mad at him. I ended the call and looked at his mom.

She seemed to be in her late forties. She was wearing a royal blue pant suit and her long brown hair was brushed over her shoulder. She's beautiful.

"Come here, sweety." She said with a smile on her face. I walked towards her and she looked at me while tapping her chin.

"Where have I seen you?" She asked and I shrugged. "You look so familiar." She said her smile never faltering.

"Mom." Louis said before pulling his mom into a tight hug.

"My baby." She said before hugging him again. Louis looked at me and his mom followed his movement.

"Mom, this is Joan. My girlfriend." He said and my eyebrows shot up in surprise. He placed a hand on my lower back and I felt myself relaxing a bit.

He called me his girlfriend!

"Why didn't you say anything?" She asked me and I breathed out a laugh. "That's where I know you from, the article." She said and I pursed my lips together.

"You can call me, Sienna." She said with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you, Sienna." I said with a smile of my own.

"How about brunch?" Louis asked and we agreed to it.

We finally arrived at a seaside restaurant called fisharays. We sat outside at a beautifully decorated table.

A waitress came over and basically only asked Louis what he would like to order. His mom gestured to me with her eyes what was happening so I shook my head with a smile on my face.

"Just a glass of water." Louis said and the girl nodded as if her life depended on it.

"I would like the hake, fried rice and chips meal. Leave the coleslaw and add prawns with soy sauce instead, I'm allergic to garlic and diary so don't add any into my food, unless it's no-lac. And also bring me a glass of sparkling water." She said and the girl nodded. I hope she wrote that down.

"I'll just have the hake and fried rice." I replied briefly. "And a virgin mojito." I said and the girl nodded before leaving.

"So, Joan what do you do for a living?" His mom asked and I looked over at Louis who was watching me in expectation.

"I'm a seductress." I choked out and the woman's mouth almost fell open.

"Holy shit." She said before looking between Louis and I.

"You know my sister used to be a seductress. It's how I met this one's dad and then she stole him back from me." She said and I pursed my lips together.

"Mom." Louis groaned and I couldn't help but to hide my smile with my hand.

"Anyways, I know what comes along with it so I know that you must be a very strong and independent woman." She said and I smiled.

"I guess I am." I said and we chuckled together.

"You should come to dinner sometime, I'm only in town for a month." She said and Louis sighed.

"Oh Jesus." He said tiredly.

"I'm not that overbearing." She said angrily and he scoffed.

"Tell me more." He said sarcasm lacing his every word and I couldn't help but to laugh at them

"So?" She asked me. I looked at Louis and he was again staring at me in expectation.

"I'd love to." I said in a calm tone. After that we chatted the rest of the morning away.

"I can't wait to have your grandkids." She said and I choked on the water in my throat. Louis rubbed my back while frowning at his mom.

"What the fuck, mom?" He asked and she shrugged innocently. I took another gulp of water to soothe my burning throat.

"What? It's true. You're my only child and I want a bunch of grandkids. Five is enough." She said and the water took another wrong turn in my throat and I coughed some more.

"Seriously mom, stop." Louis said in frustration and Sienna raised her hands in surrender.

"Oh my god." I said under my breath when I stopped coughing.

"Unless you think I'm too young to be a grandma yet." She said.

"Way too young." I said quickly.

"I think you should wait a couple more years." Louis said while his hand rested on my leg.

"Of course, it's all up to you sweety." She said and I nodded in agreement. What a person?I truly have never met anyone like her.
