My phone vibrated in my pocket so I took it out.

I'm flying to Ireland tonight for work. You're still under my protection, dolcezza. Occuparsi.

What is occuparsi? And why would I need protection? I placed my phone back in my pocket and kept on walking home. I love walking it gives me time alone. I'm constantly surrounded by people and that tends to tire me out.

I got home and sighed in exhaustion. I went inside and straight up to my room. I heard Dom calling after me but I slammed my door shut. I immediately placed my AirPods in and laid down on my bed while hugging my pillow.

I slowly fell asleep that way.

I heard knocking coming from my bedroom door so I rubbed my eyes. I stood up and went to my door and found Parker standing outside.

I ran into his arms and I felt his arms slowly wrapping around me.

"Hey what's wrong?" He asked carefully so I shook my head against his chest and continued to hug him. "It's okay, I got you." He said softly before rubbing my back in a comforting manner.

I pulled back from him and allowed him to wipe the tears from my face.

"You can talk to me." He said softly.

"My past... Keeps haunting me... I keep wondering what could've been if I had maybe done something. I can't stop blaming myself for not stopping him." I told Parker who frowned at me.

"Who?" He asked in confusion.

"Doesn't matter." I replied silently. "Thank you." I said and he nodded.

"Anytime."

"What do I do? How do I get over this?" I asked him.

"I can't tell you what to do. But I can tell you what not to do. Don't be like Cinderella." He said before lightly shaking his head.

"Cinderella?" I asked and he nodded.

"You know why she was so bad at soccer?" He asked and I just looked at him as if he was an alien. "Because she kept running away from the ball." He said before chuckling I couldn't help but to laugh.

"Did she play soccer." I asked through my chuckles and Parker nodded while holding his tummy.

"Premier league. The prince got her in. Fucking nepotism or whatever." He said and I only laughed more.

"What I'm trying to say is, you shouldn't run away from your problems. You should face them." He said wisely so I hugged him again.

"That was very wise." I said loudly in his ear before placing a kiss on his cheek. "I'm blessed to have one person left that actually cares." I said and Parker pulled me in for a hug before messing my hair up.

"How are you doing?" I asked him after tying my hair into a bun on my head.

"I'm fine. There's just this goddamn rumour going around in the office about me fucking Macy." He said and I snorted as I tried to suppress my laughter.

"Wait I thought that was true." I said and he frowned at me.

"I never fucked Macy. I have a girlfriend. That's pregnant. With my baby. For seven months now." He said and my mouth was agape.

"You're messing with me." I said in disbelief.

"Of course I'm messing with you, oh and I did fuck Macy." He said so I laughed before hitting his chest.

"Parker's got a girlfriend." I sang while poking him.

"Macy? She's obsessed with the don. I don't think she'd ever date anyone unless it's him." Parker explained and I felt a strange feeling.

I think it's jealousy.

If Parker knows this then surely Louis must know. If he has had sex with her before... He can forget about us.

I hate her.

I have to go to the hospital in a few minutes, do you wanna come?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I got a call earlier saying that I had to be at the office. They're promoting me today." He said and I smiled since I was happy for him.

"Congratulations, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." I said and he pouted.

"Yes queen." He said in a squeaky voice. "Take care of yourself." He said before hugging me.

"Thank you for everything." I said as we pulled away from each other. "And be safe." I told him as he left my room.

"Will do, Cindy." He said and I laughed at his Cinderella joke all over again.

I got up and pulled on my boyfriend jeans and white air forces. I left my hair in a bun before going downstairs.

I was wearing no make-up since I was only going to check up on Blake.

When I got to his floor in the hospital a nurse walked up to me.

"Name, miss?" She said with one eyebrow lifted. I stared at Blake and almost ignored her.

"Joan Gibbs." I replied.

"You've been banned to see doctor Ledger." She said before pursing her lips together in a thin line. "The patient has been having seizures whenever he spoke or heard about you." She said and a loose tear fell from my eye.

"Tell him I love him." I told her.

"Miss-"

"Please." I pleaded with her. "Just tell him I love him and that I'm sorry, that's all I ask and I'll never come back here." I said and she nodded.

"I will tell him when he's in stable condition." She said so I nodded in appreciation.

"Thank you." I said before lifting my hand in a greeting manner before leaving the hospital.

My phone made a ping sound so I fished it out of my pocket. It was an article so I clicked on it because there was a picture of Louis.

Igniting old flames.

Louis Valentino was spotted with one of his ex girlfriends down in Galway today. The pair was holding hands while entering a bar together.

The couple seemingly got back together after breaking up in May last year. Rumour has it that they got back together because it was the longest relationship he's ever been in.
