POV:Angelo

"Where the fuck am I?!" I groan, opening my eyes. I slowly sit up and look at myself.
"Bloody hell, what happened to my arm?! And what the hell am I wearing! Why am I all smashed and bashed like a bloody mashed potato?!" I exclaim in not only annoyance but also panic.

My leg has a bandage round it and I can see where blood has been seeping through. My arm is in a cast and I'm wearing some sort of white dress with blue dots and on top of an extremely uncomfortable bed.

I look around at my surroundings recognising absolutely nothing.

I'm so confused. I don't know where I am and what I'm doing here.

I can hear voices outside getting closer. I lay back down and shut my eyes, pretending to still be asleep.

"When will he wake up doctor? You said he'd be awake within an hour." A female voice almost shouts.

"He should have woken up by now, but don't worry sometimes patients are slow to wake up after such an operation. It's nothing to be alarmed about. But he may be in some pain when he wakes up so please give him this painkiller when he does wake." A male voice replies. I'm presuming he's the doctor.

"So when will he wake up?!" Another male voice says. But this one sounds rather agitated and frustrated.

"I can't be sure but hopefully soon. I'm so sorry but I have other patients to tend to. It was nice meeting you Mr and Miss DeLorento." The first male voice says before footsteps can be heard going away.

"What do you mean hopefully?!" The female voice exclaims as many quick footsteps head towards the door and they step outside. Their voices get further and further until they can no longer be heard.

I must get out of here!

Frantically I rip the tubes from by nose and arm and swing my legs over the edge of the bed.

I try standing but the pain in my ribs is almost unbearable. I grab the White pill that is left on the side and down it instantly. I hobble over to the door clutching my ribs and check that the coast is clear.

When I'm sure it is, I run! Well, try to run.

I make it all the way down to the hall when I'm already breathless. I spot a self controlling electric wheelchair and immediately take it.

I go all the way down the hall when a nurse spots me. She rushes over and questions where I'm headed suspiciously.

I look around when a sign for the canteen catches my eye and immediately, i say that's where I'm heading.

She then smiles and returns to her prior occupation.

Phew!

Eventually after avoiding many doctors and nurses, I make it out of the hospital and from there I just go.

I don't know where, but I go.

After almost an hour of getting away from the hospital, the battery on the wheelchair runs out.

I'm not far enough away from the hospital so I walk. Slowly and painfully.

I turn the street corner when all of a sudden, a girl with long curly brown hair and beautiful bright green eyes approaches me.

"Angelo! We've been looking everywhere for you!" She says, almost shouts. But who the hell is Angelo.

"I'm sorry lady but you must have me confused with someone else." I state.

"Don't be silly. Now I'm taking you back to Alex and Bella, they're worried sick about you!"

"Uhh, who's Alex and Bella. And not to be rude but who are you?" I say rather politely to the pretty girl.

"W-what?" She whispers, worried.

"I said-"

I know what you said!" She frantically interrupts.

"Angelo, stop messing around it not funny!"

"I'm not Angelo. I hate to break it to you, lady, but that's not me!" I say almost angrily.

"Fine then who are you?!" She raises her voice waving her hands above her head.

"I- I'm... uhhh"

Fuck! Who am I?!

"I don't know..." I reply honestly.

"Well, crap." She mutters under her breath.

After much persuasion, this girl, Aletta manages to make me get in her car to see these other two people, twins, Alex and Bella.

She says they're my cousins, that I was in an accident and I have a concussion (literally all in one sentence) and I'm completely overwhelmed.

Concussion? Surely I can't have concussion...

"Angelo! We've been so worried about you!" a tall girl with long, straight dark hair and brown eyes says. This must be Bella.
She immediately embraces me into a warm hug and I can't help but return it.

I don't know her, but I feel like I need to hug her.

She beams at me with both her arms on me when she suddenly realises the state I'm in. I must look like a lunatic.

"Only you would manage to escape a hospital and get almost 7 miles with a dodgy leg, broken ribs and a concussion." She sternly says placing her hands on her hips and frowning. I can tell she is trying to suppress a laugh though.

"Yeah man, that's not cool. You gave us all a fright back there. I mean I know you can handle yourself and all but still. We couldn't loose you." A shadow crosses his face as his expression shifts from angry to solemn.
I'm presuming that's Alex.

"Sorry?" I shrug.

Bella gasps and Alex's jaw practically drops to the ground.

"What did you just say?!" Alex asks me.

"Uhh, sorry?!" I reply perplexed.

"Crap!" Bella and Alex say in unison and turn to face each other.

"That is no concussion..." Bella mutters under her breath. "I have never heard Angelo apologise in his entire life!" She whispers to Alex.

"There's something seriously wrong Bee, that can't be Angelo..."he replies.

Eventually we reach a corner in the park where nobody else is. I sit on the bench and Bella and Alex stand in front of me as Aletta stands to my right.

"Angelo, what can you remember about the accident?" Bella asks slowly like I'm some thick 4 year old boy.

"Accident?" I question. What accident? Ohhh they must mean the accident that Aletta told me I was in.

"Okay. What do you remember about yourself, what's your name, how old are you?" Bella then says more normally.

"I don't know..." These are simple questions. I should be able to reply. But I can't.

She sighs. "What do you remember at all?"

I rack my brain for anything but other than meeting Aletta and the twins I come up with nothing.

"I don't know. I can't remember anything."

After about an hour of them trying to 'give me back my memories' they realise it's no use. We end up going to 'my house' to find something more helpful and familiar.

This is going to take a loooong time...
