Julius's POV

Everything changed after that encounter.

Vera has been withdrawn from everyone for the past two weeks.
She doesn't talk to anyone.
She doesn't open her door

I wanted to kill Nina for telling Vera the way she did.
I had been aware ever since the party but her parents made me promise not to tell her that they would do so themselves.

But that bitch Nina had to come and ruine everything.
She broke my Vera.
My doll.

After a few minutes of Vera crying her heart out into my shirt and shaking,she stood up with an emotionless look on her face and walked into her room locking the door behind her, and that was how it stayed.

I tried severally to get her to come out or at least talk to me but all I could hear were quiet sobs and it broke my heart.

I couldn't hold my doll when she was breaking.
I couldn't protect her from what she was doing through.
And it all made me so mad and angry

I had to resist the urge to throw Nina into one of our cells.
Instead I sent her back home with a death treath to give her a slow and painful death if I saw her anywhere near Vera and I let her know I wasn't bluffing.

I tried my best to channel my anger into our enemies.

I took it upon myself to torture all our prisoners but it wasn't enough to reduce the pain I felt inside me.
I had been blowing up on every and anyone.
I was loosing myself

"You need to calm down boss"
Even Aldonis had been avoiding me due to my short temper

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down.
These were the fifth shipment that got ambushed and what are you doing!

How are these things happening! "

"I don't know boss
The-"

"It's your fucking job to know!

Just get out! "

I ran a hand through my hair completely frustrated and irritated.

I decided at this point there was absolutely no point in staying.

I wouldn't be able to get any work done like this so I decided to go fix this.

I dialed his number

"She needs you two"
