The wedding was so touching I couldn't help but cry when Diego offered Maria thirteen coins and promised to take care of her. Initially, I found the tradition to be rather sexist but it was actually so touching. We all cried when Diego said his vows. He told that he fell in love with Maria's kindness before anything else. Maria in her vows said that Diego taught her to be young again. Ugh, again, I went on crying. Weddings always made me so emotional, especially weddings like Maria and Diego's. Leo sat by my side and wiped my tears. He was such a gentleman.

Maria tossed the boquet which ended up in my hands. Okay, so my marriage is next, no pressure or anything. Everyone teased Leo and I about how we were next. I was fending everyone off while that idiot was blushing and enjoying it. I guess it meant we were together again.

After the beach wedding ceremony, we returned to Valeria's mansion. Here she was organising the second part of today's wedding, the La hora loca or the crazy hour was a transition. It was a grand event with dance, music, booze and lots of fun. I stuffed some friend plantains and went to the drinks counter. Leo was already there drowning some tequila shots. When I approach him, he hands me a tiny glass. I dunked down the shot.

"I thought about what you said." Leo said. "And it makes sense. I ought to teach you to fight and protect yourself."

"Does that mean we're..."

He interrupted my sentence by kissing me. The loud music and the craziness of the crazy hour around me disappeared. All I felt were Leo's lips on mine. There was this sense of raw hunger in his kiss that I'd never felt before. His mouth tasted of tequila. Before I could deepen it, he pulled apart.

"I love you and I can never live without you. So if I say stupid shit like this again, punch me." He said.

I smiled. "It's forgiven." I said.

I heard an upbeat music playing so I grabbed Leo's hands and got him to the dance floor. He put his arms around my hips, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. Our bodies swayed to the beats of the music. Between the dance Leo pulled me close to him, pressing me against him. The closeness and the beats of the music made me realise how close Leo and I truly were. God, I was having such wrong ideas. And it didn't help that his cinnamon perfume made him seem so deliciously sexy.

He kissed the top of my head. "Dolcezza, everyone has a love of their life, you're that person for me. You're the one Meg and I've never loved anyone as much as I've loved you. That's why I get a little crazy when it comes to you."

"I like you a little crazy." I say and tiptoe to kiss his cheek.

The beat changed to a fast dance track. Leo grabbed my waist and we swayed together. He twirled me and led me gracefully through the steps. I couldn't help but wonder where did he learn to dance like that? He took the lead and made me dance to a salsa tune. He was so light on his feet. He could be a professional dancer.

In the end he gently dipped me and kissed me, making me gasp with surprise. He softly pulled away and smiled, making me blush.

"I missed you so much." I said.

All these days, I'd missed my boyfriend. I missed Leo's softer side. I missed his corny and funny jokes. I missed his consideration and his brooding face. Things hadn't been the best between us. And, now that they were fine, I was happy. I felt like I'd gotten my boyfriend back.

I felt his hand grip under my thigh to hoist me up. He lifted me up in a bridal style and effortlessly climbed the stairs. Was he lifting? He surely was strong. I knew he worked out but I never knew he was that ripped.

"I missed you too Dolcezza." He whispered in my ear as we climbed the stairs. "And I plan to show you just how much."

My heart almost stopped and I felt a rush come over me. Were we actually doing it?
