Ava's POV

"Mamma"

I was shell shocked. He had started to say different words everything. Never had I thought he would say this so quickly.

"Mamma". He said again grinning from ear to ear as drool dropped from his mouth.

"Oh baby." I hugged my baby so tight. Oh Caroline are you listening? Our little Alex is so grownup now. I hope you're happy my best friend.

I felt someone hugging me from behind. I saw Sam smiling through her tearful eyes.

Both the brothers were watched us from afar and smiled.

"You guys are so cute." Sam said as she let go of me and wiped her tears. I laughed.

Antonio approached his wife."You know in a couple of months we are going to have a moment of our own."

She nodded. " I'm waiting for that." She said as she kissed her husband.

Amadeo came along and stood closer to me. I looked him in the eye and smiled. He wiped the few tears on my cheeks and stared at me. His eyes making sure that I'm alright. To be honest I'm not sure but I nodded anyway.

He ruffled Alex's hair and said,"Good job buddy. You are growing up so fast."

"What's up people?"

There they are. Daniel and Adele.

"Hi guys. "Adele said.

After a lot of chit chatting and playing with Alex everyone decided to order some food. I finally got the chance to give Alex a bath, feed his dinner and put him down for the night.

I caressed abd kissed his head.

"You made me so proud today baby. I'm sure your mother is happy too. Wherever she is she will always watch over you. You're so lucky to have two Mammas who will always love and protect you in any and every way possible. Good night my love. "

I left him to sleep and joined the others in the living room. Adele and Sam were there talking.

"And then after that Mom kicked Papa out if the room."

"Oh god Adele stop. "Sam said wiping of the tears of laughter.

"Hey what's going on?" I asked.

"So you know my papa was trying steal some cannolis that I brought from the bakery. Papa has diabetes and Mom said he is not allowed to touch any sweet. Mom caught him red handed munching those cannolis and she wreak havoc in the house. The best part she kicked out of the room and said that he is sleeping on the couch for a month. Oh God papa was literally begging. He was like 'honey please let me in' but Mom was like'go and enjoy your new friendship with the couch'."

"Yo my mother in law is savage." Said Sam.

I was laughing too. Oh God. It felt so good to be actually laugh after such long. Free from any tension. I embraced this little happiness.

"Hate to interrupt this jovial conversation but may I borrow Ava for a while?" Asked Amadeo.

I rose from my seat. "Is everything okay?"

"Bring her back in one piece ." Sam said.

"Ofcourse. What do you think I'm planning on doing?"

"Well I don't know you tell me." She said wiggling her brows. My cheeks turned the same colour as Amadeo's ears.

We quietly went away and we heard both of them laughed.

He took me to his study where Daniel and Antonio were also present.

"Sunshine I missed you so much. " Daniel said as he tackled me for a hug.

I chuckled." It's good to see you too Daniel."

Then he started blabbering about different things which got his other two brothers irritated.

"Daniel!"

"What?" He said innocently.

"Can we get back to the topic?"

"What topic?"

Amadeo gave him a stern look

"Oh yeah yeah yeah right right. Yes topic. Back to it immediately ."

"So the thing is..." Amadeo started.

Amadeo shut his eyes in agitation.

"Daniel..."

"Sorry!!"
