~Meanwhile~

The tall, heavy doors screeched forward as the guards push them open for the blonde boy. Eagerness but also fear filled him from the important news he carried.

"Who dares disturb me during my meal." spoke a deep, menacing voice laced with a hint of annoyance.

The blonde boy walked forward, trying to muster all the confidence he could but as he got closer, he couldn't help the shiver of fear that crawled up his spine.

The blonde boy saw him sitting on his throne as he effortlessly held a human girl's body, who sat upon his lap limply, as he continued to drain her blood, dismissing the boy's presence.

The girl seemed like she has been drifting between unconsciousness and consciousness.

Would it not have been for the situation she was currently in, she would have been a girl with beauty to die for. She was stained with blood all over her neck and dark blood spots stained her black satin dress. Her wavy, raven hair cascaded down her back. She almost resembled an angel that had fallen from the heavens, wings ripped off as she laid in the devil's grasp.

The girl limp with fear, kept her eyes closed as he held her, not a sound nor whimper left her lips as he continued to sink his teeth into her neck, afraid he might get angry and hurt her even more. She had become accustomed to the pain that it no longer affected her so much.

The blonde boy knelt down on one knee and bowed his head in respect. "M-my King, I come carrying important news that will surprise you and come of great use."

This seemed to catch a bit of the Vampire King's attention and for the first time the King looked down at the boy, intrigued by his words.

"Important news" He repeated mockingly almost amused. "Well it better be of great importance because your life depends on it now." He warned

The boy knew that the news he had would be enough to keep him alive and so this seemed to calm his fear a bit. He wanted to please the King and he also wanted revenge for his friend,
Marcus.

"Well what is it, speak boy" He said as he started to become frustrated at the boy's pause.

The boy lifted his head up to meet the King's dark green eyes which were looking down upon him, just as his own crimson eyes stared back at him.

The King had a feeling that the boy was telling the truth about carrying important news by the way he saw the spark of confidence in his eyes.

Then he said the words that the King was not expecting.

"I discovered the existence of the last True Luna."

The King's eyes widen in surprise and shock.

This statement seemed to capture the Vampire King's full attention. He lifted the girl off his lap with one arm in a dismissive gesture and within seconds, two of his servants quickly took her away back to her room with the rest of his precious female blood bags.

The King licked the blood remaining off his lips as he stood up off his throne and began stalking forwards, closer to the boy.

The boy now feeling more confident, also stood up.

"Are you sure of this, because if you are fooling me, your head will pay the price." Eric Northman threatened in a low, deadly tone.

"Yes I am. I was there to witness everything that happened. I barley managed to escape with my own life. My best friend was killed because of her, among 20 other vampires."

"How are you so sure she is the True Luna?"

"She said it her self. I doubted it at first too but when I saw the way her eyes glowed, the way she fought, the way she moved, it was like no other normal werewolf. She had incredible strength. I knew she was telling the truth."

Eric Northman looked away, his mind was deep in thought.

Was it true?
Had the moment he had been waiting for finally arrived? After 400 years had the moon goddess finally chosen a True Luna?

Excitement and a satisfying, dark, evil feeling seem to flow through his body.

After all these centuries of his life time waiting, another True Luna has been born.

But there was something that bothered him slightly.

How had he not realised of her existence? He seemed to always know when the spirits had given life to a True Luna, but this time he found it strange that he hadn't.

"Do you know what pack she belongs too and what her name is?"

"Her name is Lara King. She wasn't on a pack's territory at the time but the closest neighbouring pack was the SilverMoon's so she most likely belongs to them."

The King turned his body to face the boy again, surprised at his answer.

"The SilverMoon?"

A wicked grin seemed to slowly creep onto his face as he let out a dark chuckle at this information.

"Why isn't this just perfect! Oh how the devil has placed this luck upon me." He laughed out loud as if the devil himself could hear him.

"I will finally be able to achieve what it is that I want. The dark ages of vampires is over. We will now be able to rise as the superior race with me as the ruler of all vampires!" He said as his evil laugh echoed around the huge, tall room.

"My King what is it you plan to do now?"

"I will capture this True Luna and I will keep her as a blood bag. Then when I am finished with her, I will kill her."

"Forgive me for asking your highness, but why will you kill her wouldn't it be best to use her blood to the fullest potential, which means keeping her alive. What good would she be if she were dead?"

"Tell me boy what is your name?"

"My name is Theo, your majesty."

"Well.. Theo, you see you must not underestimate the strength of a True Luna. They are one of the earth's most powerful supernatural beings, and when they are killed, the person who has killed them inherits all their power. Meaning I will be the earths most powerful being."

The King turned back around as he made his way back to his throne.

"Xavir!"

Seconds later, a tall lanky vampire dressed in black and red, with slick black hair appeared.

"Yes your majesty." he replied.

"I need you to find out more information about this girl and then spread the word that whoever brings her to me first alive, will be rewarded heavily with riches and wealth by me. Tell them they may even have access to my most prized blood bags." He said as he sat back down on his throne as the lanky vampire, Xavir quickly scribbled everything down on a piece of paper.

Suddenly they where all interrupted by the sound of the tall heavy doors opening as a tall young man wearing tight dark pants and an expensive looking long, black trench coat, walked in confidently. He seemed to be walking in the direction of his chamber and was completely unbothered or unaware of the situation that was happening.

"Dorian, son." The King greeted him.

"Father." He said bowing his head slightly at his father in respect.

"Where have you been at this late hour?"

"Just at the night club making sure everything is under control and running well, we will have a new supply of fresh human blood ready soon." He replied in a bored tone as partially lied.

"Well you will never guess what I've just found out." He replied in a chillingly happy tone.

This made Dorian slow his pace down and come to a halt as he looked up at his father, taking in the scene that was currently happening.

What could make my father so happy at this hour of the night?

That was when his eyes fell upon the familiar blonde boy who was standing before his father.

His eyes widened slightly at the realisation but he quickly masked it, only someone who was paying close attention would have noticed.

"It turns out the next True Luna is currently alive and roaming the earth without us having of known." The King said.

Dorian faked a surprised expression as he walked towards them. "Oh my, well that sure is something I was not expecting to hear."

"I'll finally be able to become the most powerful vampire. Don't worry, you will be by my side as I rule. Come sit with me." He said as he motioned at the smaller version of the throne beside his.

Ever since he was little the King loved and treasured his only son and gave him everything he wanted, but that did not seem to satisfy Dorian's greed for power, just like his father's.

He knew his father would give him anything he asked for, but the one thing he could not have was the title as King, King of Vampires, and that was what he wanted. Power. It was like a drug to an addict and in this case he and his father where the addicts.

Dorian knew he would never be King because they were immortal and his father was not easy to kill. He was one of the earths oldest vampires. He'd watched as other Vampires challenge him or tried to kill him for the throne but fail miserably.

There was only one person who he knew could take him down and that was the True Luna.

This was why he had tried to persuade Lara to help him kill his father, to do his dirty work, but she had rejected his offer. His help. He knew she wanted the King dead. He had figured it was why the spirits had given her life. It was her mission.

But it was too late his plan had failed. His father knew now thanks to that scrawny blonde vampire who should have been dead.

How had he not seen him flee?
He though all of the vampires at the incident were dead.

Now, he just had to come up with a new plan.
Luckily he already had one in mind.

At this he smiled to himself.

"What will you do now then?" Dorian asked curiously.

His father chuckled darkly.
The shadows making him look more frightening and menacing. He resembled a crazy killer laughing at the death of his victim.

"I think it's time I paid our old friend Eleanor a visit."
