She get famous if I mention. I ain't gon' say her name at all. I was just sittin' in prison, damn near livin' like a dog. I remember that shit vividly, I do this shit for y'all. I'm not lookin' for no sympathy, won't cry about no loss. I got demons all on my back and arms, I'm tryna shake 'em off. | Lil Baby

Stepping out of the Porsche, Jazzy leaned against the front of the vehicle with a smirk on her face. A few feet away she could see Sylvia frantically going back and forth with Kaymen and J'Ru as both of her cars were being lifted onto a tow truck. Jazzy was basking in seeing her mother lose what she cared so dearly about. Her reputation was definitely about to be smudged now that the entire neighborhood was witnessing her 2020 Range Rover and her 2019 Mercedes G Class get repossessed.

"J'Ru are you fucking serious?!" Sylvia's eyes widened in anger. She was partially dressed in her robe with her hair pinned up in a silk scarf. It was the top of the morning and what she thought was about to be a peaceful one turned into an embarrassing ass shit show.

"Aye, I can't do nothing about this," J'Ru lifted his hand up as if he had no control whatsoever. "With my homie gone up into the heavens, we had to crunch the numbers and some shit just had to go,"

"So you're repossessing his fucking mother's car?!" Sylvia screeched up at J'Ru. She was so angry that Kaymen and J'Ru could visibly see the vein bulging out of her neck. Hell—Jazzy was on the other side of the street and could see it.

J'Ru sighed deeply. "Look Mrs. B, in the finances it doesn't say shit about these being your cars. PJ had seven cars, two of those being leased and not paid off cash. Those two happened to be the ones you were riding in. We gotta keep shit afloat now that he's gone. You gotta understand," J'Ru explained to Sylvia. Of course he was full of shit. Money was the least of their problems. Priest had ordered them to pull all of what Sylvia thought were her assets, but really were gifts from Priest, this included both cars and her brownstone which was about to be back on the market. If she was flipping out about her cars, they couldn't imagine what she was about to do when she got that eviction notice plastered on her door later during the week.

Jazzy couldn't help but to laugh at the scene Sylvia was putting on. Extracting her phone out of the pocket of her Chrome Hearts hoodie, Jazzy dialed Priest's international number. After a few rings, he answered. She knew by now that it was the middle of the night for him, but he seemed to be up. "Yo, I wish you was here to fucking witness this shit," Jazzy doubled over in laughter.

Priest chuckled as he shook his head. It probably wasn't the best idea to allow Jazzy to go watch Sylvia get everything taken right from underneath her, but so be it. Sylvia was playing with fire when it came to chatting to the press about him right now. That was something she never did before, even when his trial was at its highest peak. Now that he was allegedly dead and she knew that he couldn't necessarily discipline her himself, she felt the need to switch things up and do shit she was never supposed to do from the beginning. To top things off, she mentioned Britain in her fake ass pleas for fucking help, blaming her for being left out of the fucking loop. That right there was a line she crossed and could never come back from. Britain was off limits and that went for everyone.

"You basking in that shit, ain't you?" Priest replied.

Jazzy scoffed. "Nigga am I? This is the best comedy I ever fucking seen. You should have thought of this shit a long fucking time ago," She threw her head back in laughter.

Across the street, Sylvia still stood in her driveway trying to reason with J'Ru and Kaymen to leave the cars behind. "And what role do you play in this Kaymen?" She snapped her head towards Kaymen.

As laid back and nonchalant Kaymen was, he simply shrugged with a bleak look on his face. "I just do the numbers," He informed Sylvia.

"So you made the fucking decision to repossess my cars?! Are you even a fucking accountant?!" She spat at Kaymen, pointing her long square shaped acrylic nail in Kaymen's face.

Kaymen took in a deep breath in order to keep from disrespecting Priest's mother. "Look all that is unnecessary. Those cars are a bill that we don't fucking need right now. We balancing the fucking check books to keep what your son built afloat. If you worried about some fucking cars, go break bread and get some whips under your name. Priest had it down in the numbers how much he broke you off before he passed. You're well off," Kaymen retaliated a response with his smooth and laid back demeanor. Wasn't anything about to get him riled up enough to go back and forth with a woman who was up there in age and caught hot flashes from menopause.

"Nigga fuck you!" Sylvia jeered in Kaymen's face. "What the fuck do you know about what my son gave me?!"

"You're sitting on 800 G's. If you ran through that in a matter of months you need to cut back on the spending and get your priorities in order," Kaymen shook his head, shaming Sylvia.

Overhearing what was said, Jazzy scoffed. "You gave that bitch 800 G's?" She asked Priest, clearly in shock over the new information that was resurfacing.

Priest shrugged his shoulders. "Not from me, but from Leonard," He clarified.

"You should've left that money where it was at," Jazzy rolled her eyes, not thinking her mother deserved 800 G's that Priest ended up having to lose out on anyway.

Priest glanced over at Britain who was sound asleep beside him. "I wouldn't be where I'm supposed to be if I did," He stated as he pulled the comforter over Britain a bit more so she could be warm.

Seeing how much Kaymen was getting heat from Sylvia, J'Ru decided to step in. "Mrs. B, it's just the numbers," J'Ru stressed. "Hell who knows—my shit might get repoed tomorrow!" J'Ru dramatically pointed towards his matte olive green Jeep Track Hawk that was parked at the curb

Kaymen chuckled before shaking his head. "Nah nigga it ain't, you own your shit," He clarified on J'Ru's behalf.

A remorseful look panned out on J'Ru's face since he didn't think Kaymen would have added more salt in the wound for Sylvia. The shit was funny as hell, but for the sake of the plan, J'Ru refrained from laughing and being as careless as Kaymen was being at the moment. "Mrs. B, you just got dealt a bad set of cards that was supposed to be in PJ's hand. Aint shit I can do about it,"J'Ru shrugged his shoulders.

Sylvia tapped her foot raging in anger as she watched the tow man hook the anchor onto the back of her Range Rover. "Terrance!" She shouted out for her husband which ultimately caused J'Ru and Kaymen to huff out deep breaths of annoyance.

In no time Terrance came striding out if the home with golf club in hand. In a matter of seconds he swung the club shattering one of the windows of the Range Rover. "You want the cars?! You can get the cars when I'm through with them!" Sylvia spewed out as Terrance went around the vehicle swinging the five iron golf club right through the wind shield

"Oh this bitch is nuts," Jazzy eyes widened at the sight of Sylvia and Terrance destructing both vehicles.

"What's the issue?" Priest asked.

"Her and Terrance busting the windows and putting dents in the cars," Jazzy informed Priest of her parents behavior.

J'Ru and Kaymen glanced at each other knowing that they needed to stray away from the plan since Sylvia didn't want to act civil. Together, Kaymen and J'Ru both drew their pieces from their waist bands holding them up at at Sylvia and Terrance. "Break another fucking window and we'll have both of y'all asses tap dancing," J'Ru threatened. Terrance dropped the golf club, panting heavily from all the energy it took to put the vehicles in the bad shape they were in.

"Yeah, your heavy set ass shouldn't be doing no extracurricular activities no way. Look like you about to croak over and have a heart attack," J'Ru spewed out at Terrance as he tucked his gun back into his waist band. This sent Jazzy into a misfit of laughter. J'Ru could crack a joke in any situation.

"And what the fuck is so funny over there?!" Sylvia went around Kaymen and J'Ru, striding towards Jazzy. She hadn't noticed her before since she was so focused on getting her cars off the tow truck and reasoning with Kaymen and J'Ru. Now that she had, her eyes filled with hatred.

"Step another foot closer and I will drag your old ass," Jazzy warned Sylvia while gliding her Audemars Piguet watch off her wrist and tossing it into the Porsche just in case she really had to handle Sylvia.

Priest sighed over the phone. Him not being able to be present meant that Jazzy had more of a chance of actually putting her hands on Sylvia. Only Priest knew his sister's limits and when to step in to prevent a physical altercation from happening. "Fae just get in the car, she ain't worth it," Priest attempted to steer his sister away from Sylvia over the phone.

J'Ru smacked his lips as he turned around so he could rush over to where Jazzy was. "Jazzy you don't even need elderly abuse on your record right now," J'Ru shook his head as up held the door open of the Porsche so Jazzy could get back into the car.

"This nigga always with the games," Priest chuckled since he overhead J'Ru's comment.

It took everything in Jazzy to pry her feet off of the concrete and make her way into the car. "Priest must be working hella hard with God to keep me from beating your ass," Jazzy kissed two of her fingers before holding them up into the sky, asking God for the strength. Jazzy got into the car, slamming the door shut.

Kaymen had managed to keep Terrance still by holding the gun on him while the tow man pulled the Range onto his truck. Now that they successfully had both cars, everyone could see the defeat in Sylvia's face.

"Fuck all of you! Y'all ain't shit without Priest!" She hollered out with her middle finger waving at Jazzy, J'Ru and Kaymen. "And Priest wouldn't be shit with out me! I made him into what the fuck he was! You can join him in hell for all I care!" Sylvia venomously seethed out before turning around so she could head back into her home.

Not liking the choice of Sylvia's words, Jazzy attempted to get out of the car, but J'Ru already had his back against the door so she wouldn't be able to get out. "Let it go, she's just bitter," J'Ru said to Jazzy, coaching her through her now raging anger.

Jazzy stopped trying to tussle with J'Ru to get out the car, letting out a load groan of frustration. By then, Jazzy had already tossed her phone into the passenger seat of the car so Priest was left to overhead all the background noise of what was going on. Hearing Sylvia say such harsh things didn't affect Priest at all. His mother was angry that she was down two luxury vehicles, she was willing to say much of anything to showcase how angry she was.

Jazzy reached over the center console, grabbing the phone out of the seat. "You good?" Priest asked her, knowing how bad Jazzy could get whenever she was angry.

"When will y'all ever let me take my childhood trauma out on that bitch?" Jazzy heaved out as she started the vehicle by pressing the button.

Priest chuckled. "Never. I don't need you getting no bad karma from beating her ass," He clarified.

Groaning, Jazzy rolled her eyes. "Whatever," She muttered out. "Get some sleep, I'll hit you later," She told her brother.

"Bet. I love you Jazzy-Fae," Priest said.

"Love you too," She replied before they ended their call.

Before she pulled off, she watched as the tow truck back out of Sylvia's driveway hauling both cars. That was cue for J'Ru and Kaymen to go as well. "Trail me to Bueno, you need a baconeggandcheese after all this shit," J'Ru told Jazzy with a laugh.

Rolling her eyes with some laughter herself, Jazzlyn agreed. J'Ru got into his Track Hawk leading the way to Bueno with Jazzy close behind. Kaymen went his separate ways in hopes of catching Jadey at home before she left for work.

After a while, J'Ru and Jazzy arrived at the bodega. Getting out the car himself, J'Ru jogged over to the Porsche to aid Jazzy out the car. He tossed his arm across her shoulder pulling her close so no one would speak to her. He was far more territorial than Priest was. "My little Leila Ali need that greasiest baconeggandcheese Carlito ever whipped up," He hyped Jazzy which caused her to laugh.

J'Ru pushed the door open for Jazzy to enter. Immediately they were greeted by Carlito and his snarky remarks. "Why the fuck do your motherfucking ass always park in the no parking zone?!" Carlito started with J'Ru upon entrance.

J'Ru held his middle finger up at Carlito while he and Jazzy laughed. "Nigga get off my dick and come get your short stack ass on the grill," J'Ru ordered Carlito.

"Aye Mirsad come to the grill!" Carlito shouted out towards the back of the store.

Jazzy was pleased to see her little cousin in better terms. Just last week, she hooked him up with a job at Bueno, with the approval of Kaymen and J'Ru of course. Mirsad had been doing better for himself with the guidance of Remy. He managed to split his time between Remy and Nia even though he did like spending more time with Remy, but he would never let his mother know that. Jeremy had gotten Mirsad back in school but with how far behind he was and his wrap sheet he had to settle for a smaller alternative school. He wasn't too thrilled about being in stuffy uniforms and with teens who the school system considered delinquent, but he just rolled with it. He had a better mindset now.

As Mirsad appeared from the back so he could get on the grill J'Ru shook his head. "This nigga like twelve years old ain't no way I'm trusting him to cook my shit,"

Mirsad smacked his lips. "Carlito you got this one. Niggas acting stupid," He shook his head. Remy worked on Mirsad's behavior however his attitude had a long way to go. He was till the same old slick mouth Mirsad from back then.

Jazzy laughed as she tossed J'Ru's off her shoulder. "Why you always giving my little cousin a hard time?"

J'Ru shrugged as he watched Carlito make his way behind the grill while Mirsad handled register. "It looks like he got all y'all fooled but I know his bad ass getting ready to do something that's gonna land him in some deep shit. It may not be now, but soon. Just watch," He warned Jazzy who simply waved him off. J'Ru was always like this. He had a hard time giving people second chances.

After telling Carlito what the wanted to order, J'Ru returned his arm around Jazzy's shoulder, this time holding her in a mild headlock. "Who was that cat Cyro been dropping you off by?" J'Ru asked.

Jazzy laughed. "Nigga you got Cyro reporting on me now?"

J'Ru freed her from the headlock as he nodded his head. Now that Priest was gone, he was responsible for Jazzy. He wasn't taking any chances with her. J'Ru knew if he fumbled anything with Jazzlyn involved, Priest would be on the first thing smoking to light his ass up. J'Ru didn't want to be shooting at his homie so that meant he was watching Jazzy like a hawk. "I do. So you gone tell me who he is or I gotta figure the shit out myself?"

The person J'Ru was referring to was none other than Cameron himself. There has been this turbulent back and forth going on between he and Jazzy and she was trying really hard to shake him but it always ended with them fucking. There wasn't any emotions involved on Jazzy's end at least, but Cameron was making it clear in the street that Jazzy was off limits to any other nigga. She wasn't feeling the fact he was claiming her out in the streets so she shut that down as quickly as he started it. They were on the outs as of now so he was running her down like he always did—showering her with gifts and sending her insane amounts of money. Jazzy was pretty through with Cameron and was sending his gifts and money back whenever she received them.

"He's nobody important," Jazzy shrugged off.

"I need to give you the birds and the bees talk?" J'Ru raised his brow at Jazzy.

She threw her head back in laughter, overly amused by J'Ru trying to be a mature big brother to her. "Ru get the fuck outta here,"

"Shit I'm just saying," J'Ru shrugged. "I was your coparent while you was growing up, but that nigga Priest ain't let me have a say so in shit. Now that he's gone, I can really lay down the law," He said.

Jazzy smacked her lips waving J'Ru off. "I'm grown Ru. If I need help or a talk, I would just ask,"

J'Ru nodded his head, sufficed with Jazzy's answer. "I respect that,"

"How are you and Taylor?" Jazzy asked with a smirk etched on her face.

J'Ru shook his head at the mention of Taylor. "There ain't no me and Taylor," He clarified. He didn't know who told Taylor that his wife Aja was back home from her deployment before he did, but whoever did had him dropped by Taylor quicker than he could come up with a plan to keep both of the woman he loved. Taylor meant something to him and he hated that they fell out the way they did, but he had to be honest with himself. If he had to choose between Taylor and Aja, the choice would always be Aja.

What people didn't understand was that he never really stepped out on Aja at all. The terms of their marriage allowed them to have other love interest while they were apart. Aja even knew about Taylor at one point. However when Aja no longer wanted to have an open relationship, J'Ru failed to cut ties with Taylor due to how quickly they bonded and rocked with each other. J'Ru even faded out of Taylor's life for a good year to focus on his marriage, but Taylor always managed to draw him back in. He knew her vibe was immaculate, but being that since Aja came home he hadn't been tempted to reach out to Taylor, he was sure that his craving to always be with her was due to being around while Aja couldn't.

"So I'm guessing you and Aja are great?" Jazzy formed as more so of a question.

J'Ru nodded his head. "I kept it real with Aja. Of course she was pissed—she knocked my ass out a few times too, but she forgave me," He explained with a light smile on his face. Aja made J'Ru feel just like Britain made Priest feel. Their relationship wasn't the easiest to understand but that didn't matter.

"You should upgrade her ring for the inconvenience," Jazzy chuckled as she took the sandwiches off of the counter once Carlito finished wrapping them up.

J'Ru paid for their food along with their drinks before returning to the conversation with Jazzy. "Taylor wasn't no inconvenience though. I really had love for shorty. She's a real one, but the situation is complicated and my heart gonna always belong to Aja,"

"Well you leave me with no other choice but to put my friend on with a nigga who looks and has way more money than you," Jazzy shrugged jokingly with a sigh.

Arrogantly J'Ru smacked his lips and waved Jazzy off. "I wish her well, but it's gonna be a hell of a long journey for
