I can't get Sebastian out of my head. His dark eyes have speckles of hazel in them. His dark hair that long to run my hands through. That smirk that was plastered on his face. I'm obsessed. I can't be obsessed. I can't fall for that trap again. Why am I always attracted to people who I know will hurt me.

I pull out my phone. I need to see Theo. Hey, are you working today?

I send off the message. It's not like I have much else to do today, except for avoiding Lucia, so I might as well go see him. My phone pings.

Yeah... but I have a lunch break in 20 minutes. We could get lunch?

Yeah sure, on my way.

I hesitate on whether or not I should send an x on the end before deciding against it.

As I approach the shop, I see Sebastian's assistant from yesterday carrying two coffees to a car. I watch her leave before entering the coffee shop. Why didn't he just come himself?

'Hey, long time no see.' Theo says

'Yeah, I mean I came by to see you earlier this week. You just weren't here.' I say as I lean against the counter with my head bracing on my hands.

He shrugs 'I was ill. Got a cold from my sister.' He moves to copy me. Now we're the same height .

He waits there for a bit, looking right into my eyes with a small smile on his face. I can't help but feel a tiny bit lucky that a boy like Theo likes a girl like me.

'You wanna go get food.' He asks

I nod, so he turns to put down his apron. He knocks on the employee only door to tell Alice he's leaving and we walk out. Hand in hand.

Theo's the type of guy you can tell everything about from just one look. I can tell he's obsessed. He copies my every move, he laughs at my jokes and he puts up with me when I'm annoying. He's perfect in every way. So why am I not obsessed with him? Why would I pass up on a chance to be with someone good... someone who will treat me right?

'Hey,' Theo's looking at me worried. 'You okay?'

I nod 'yeah, yeah I'm fine.'

'Well, um,' he scratches the back of his neck, his face twists like he's thinking of what to say. He's cute. 'I've got to go but this was really fun.'

'Yeah, it was,' I say softly. He gives me a smile in return. 'We should do it again.'

He looks me in the eye, then down at my lips and back up again. He's steps forward. We're inches apart. 'Yeah, we should.' He replies. He tucks a loose strand of my hair behind my ear.

'Can I kiss you?' He whispers

I nod, hard. So, he leans forward and presses his lips against mine. The kiss is sweet and passionate but it doesn't fill me with butterflies. It doesn't make me want to do things to him.

We break apart. 'I'll see you Saturday.' He whispers into my ear. I smile and he walks away.
