I'm literally just about to knock on Sebastian's office door before I come to my senses.

Sebastian is literally the one causing me all this stress, why am I going out of my way to be around him?

I sigh and spin around, only to bump right into the very person I've decided I'm going to ignore. Sebastian.

'Hey.' He says

'Oh...hi.'

'Are you...' He gestures towards his door.

'I um- well it's-'

He raises his eyebrows.

Fuck it. There's literally no way I can avoid Sebastian for long enough to get Theo back.

Plus, I need to show him the tattoo his brother took me to get.

'Yeah, I need to talk to you.' I say

He nods. 'The doors open.'

I turn back around and push open the door.

He walks over to a filing cabinet at the far end of the room and I jump up onto his desk.

'What did you want to talk to me about?'

'I need to know what I'm getting myself involved in.'

'You're not getting yourself involved in anything.' He turns around and braces against the cabinet. He folds his arms across his chest. 'What do you mean?'

'I mean,' I shrug off my jacket, it's suddenly really warm here. 'Hanging around you can't be safe.'

'Alexis you're not- I wouldn't let anything happen...' His eyes drop to my arm. 'What's that?'

I look down.

Before I can say anything, Sebastian's in front of me. My arm in his hand.

I know he only has to glance at the tattoo for a second to know what it is, but he stares at it like he's willing it to disappear.

He runs his hand over my forearm and then looks up. 'Who got you that?' His voice is low and his eyes are dark.

'Axcel did but-'

He drops my arm.

'Stay here.' He says pointing at me.

He storms out of the room at an alarmingly fast speed.

Ugh. I jump off the desk and walk after him.

He pretty much pushes his assistant out of the way as he marches towards his brother's office.

He flings open the door.

'What the fuck Axcel.' He says as he disappears behind the doorway.

I peek past the door frame. Sebastian got Axcel's shirt collar tightly gripped under his fists and he's pressed his brother against his chair.

'What's your problem Sebastian?' Axcel says. He sounds breathless, probably because Sebastian winded him.

'Why did you get her a tattoo?'

Axcel's eyes narrow. He opens his mouth twice to say something but nothing comes out. Then he says, 'You know why.'

Axcel's eyes flick towards the door, where I'm standing. He catches my eye.

With the glare that he's giving me It's probably best if I leave now, before I find something out that I probably would rather not know.

Sebastian spins around to follow his brother's gaze. He looks at me. 'Alexis, go back to my office. Now.'

I huff, narrow my eyes and cross my arms over my chest. 'Fine.'

I'm sat on Sebastian's desk, drumming my fingers against, when he flings open the door.

He walks over to the side table and pours himself a drink which he then downs in one. I watch him pace the length of the room twice before he comes to stand next to me, palms flat on the desk and leaning heavily on his arms. He drops his head between his shoulders and sighs.

'Seb...' I touch his arm and he looks up to meet my gaze.

'I'm not going to let anything happen to you, you know that.' He moves to stand in front of me and gently places his hands on both of my thighs. 'I'll protect you with my life.'

I smile and shake my head. 'You don't need to do that.'

'No, I do need to do that Alexis. If you ever get hurt, It's my fault.'

I don't feel the need to push the subject, or the fact that I can defend myself. 'Okay, fine.'

His eyes search my face, they linger on my lips before dropping to my neck. He reaches out and picks his necklace up from the centre of my collar bone.

He runs the bullet through his fingers before dropping it back to where it was before.

'Are you going to Lucia's party?' He says quietly

'Well yeah, I work for her.'

'Did you get an outfit for it yet?'

'No, I was going to match Theo...but I don't know about that anymore.'

'So why don't you match me?'

'Because we're not a couple, Sebastian.'

'That didn't stop you from wanting to fuck me.'

'I-' I actually give up trying to deal with this man.

He smirks.

'Can we go back to talking about why I'm actually here?' I ask.

'Mmh, no. Let me buy you a dress.'

I feel like Sebastian lacks the ability to ask questions.

'Do I have a choice?' I ask

'Not really...I mean, you can go looking like a peasant if you want, or you can let me make you look like a queen. It's your decision.'

I roll my eyes and jump off the desk. 'Fine, let's go.'

'This one?' I ask

I'm standing in front of Sebastian in yet another dress that he probably doesn't like.

'No.'

'Why?'

'Because Alexis, nobody but me needs to see that much of your body.'

'It's literally just my leg.'

'And that's not a part of your body?' He says with his face painted with sarcastic confusion.

I groan and walk back to the dressing room.

I pull on a blue dress with a low V neck line.

'Okay this one?'

He looks up from his phone. 'No.'

Okay, now I've had enough of this.

I stomp back to the dressing room, grab the remaining dresses and throw them on top of him. 'You pick then.'

'Seriously Lexi, control your anger.'

I scoff. 'That's rich, coming from you.'

He moves the dresses off him and stands up. 'What's that supposed to mean.'

'It means that you're a hypocritical dick, and your presence pisses me off.'

'Mmh... okay.'

I'm really considering murdering him right now.

'What is wrong with you?' I ask.

'Nothing, what's wrong with you?' He says.

His eyes trail down my body. I know I look good in the dress, and I know he knows I look good in the dress. If he wasn't so damn possessive, maybe we would get along better.

'You know,' He says as he steps closer to me. 'You're sexy when you're angry.'

I step back. 'Don't do that.' I say as I point a finger in his face. 'Don't do that.'

'Don't do what?'

I would shoot him on the spot if I got the chance.

First off, I'm not even angry, I'm just annoyed. Very annoyed. Second... okay, I don't have a second but I'm annoyed.

He steps forward. 'This?'

I glare at him.

'Or this?' He wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me in.

Then he puts his hand under my chin and tilts my head up. 'Or this?' He whispers.

He moves in closer.

'Wow.' A voice sounds behind us and Sebastian and I jump apart.

I spin around, to see Theo standing there looking rather angry.

He looks at me. 'Wow.' He scoffs.

'No Theo...'

He spins on his heels and walks out of the dressing room.

'Theo.' I say as I walk after him.

I can't run in this dress... I mean it's not like I run after people anyway. But I can't run.

So I watch him storm out of the store before turning towards Sebastian, who's got that stupid smirk plastered over his face.

'You look hot in the black dress by the way.'

I turn, glare at him and give him the middle finger.

'What? You asked.' He says

I let out a frustrated groan.

There is no way that I'm not right about Sebastian actively trying to ruin my life.
