~*A/N*~ Okay I updated way late today. I may have pulled a Joey and drank to much last night >.> I usually write at night, but I definitely could not last night. Enjoy!~

After Yami's party I spent the rest of the weekend relaxing at home. It was Sunday evening and I was laying in bed staring at the roof recalling the phone call I had with the stranger who had those men sent after me. Why was she coming after me? What had I done to make her hate me so much and who was it for that matter? I was thinking to hard and my head started to hurt. I rolled over and took my phone out of my pocket. I frowned when I realized I still hadn't told gramps about the crack in the screen. I sighed and went downstairs to find him.

"Hey grandpa, Uhm. There's something I need to tell you." I leaned on the kitchen door frame not making eye contact.

"What it is my boy?" He placed another piece of the puzzle he was working on into its correct slot. I put my phone onto the table in front of him.

"I'm sorry, it happened when I jumped that fence." He glanced from the phone and back to me.

He smiled at me which made me confused.

"It's replaceable. I made sure to get the warranty for any damage that might be caused to it." He put down the puzzle piece in his hand and moved his eyes to mine. "How was the party on Friday? You seemed pretty exhausted yesterday."

I picked up my phone returning it to my pocket. "It was awesome. Everyone from school was there."

"Did Yami give you that mark on your neck?" He smirked at me and my eyes grew wide. I slapped my hand over the bruise on my neck. "I saw you had it on Thursday after hanging out with him" he chuckled at me. "I may be old but I'm not blind Yugi. When you said you had something to tell me, I assumed you were going to tell me he was your boyfriend." So he had noticed the mark then!

"I-I. He didn-. It's not like that!" I could feel my face burning as I turned and ran back to my room. I could hear my grandpa laughing as I shut my door leaning against it. I slid down and buried my face into my knees.

~ding!~

It was from Yami.

Feeling any better today? Any luck with trying to figure out who might have had those guys sent after you?

Just reading the text from Yami made me smile.

:( No I have absolutely no idea. I'm completely cured of my hangover, how are you feeling?

~ding!~

Don't worry Yugi we'll figure this out. I'm better, still having trouble sleeping. Do you wanna meet up tonight?

My heart picked up speed. Tonight meant I would get to sneak out for the first time and I began to feel conflicting emotions of excitement and fear. I sat there thinking of the best way to exit the game shop without making to much noise. I must have been conjuring up a plan longer then I thought and forgot to respond.

~ding!~

Or we don't have to if you don't want to. I'll see you tomorrow at school anyway.

I jumped up and replied at lightening speed.

No! I really want to! Where should we meet?

~ding!~

I'll walk to your place and meet you outside. I'll be there at 10. See you soon.

I jumped off my bed and started rummaging through my clothes. I wanted to wear something nice. 'It's not a date Yugi'. I told myself and blushed. I brushed off my thoughts as I put another outfit that Anzu bought me when we went to the mall. I smiled at myself in the mirror. I grabbed the eyeliner that Anzu gave me and lined my eyeballs with it. Yami made me feel complete, like the emptiness inside was being filled. I almost forgot what it was like to genuinely smile.

I opened my window as quietly as possible and climbed onto the roof. I started to crawl towards the side of house when I saw Yami walk to the side to meet me. I flipped on my stomach and put my legs over the edge. I lowered my self down gently. My hand slipped off the edge and in a split second I fell down. Though I was only a couple of feet from the ground it was still going to be loud. I braced for the impact and shut my eyes. Two arms were underneath me and I opened my eyes to see that Yami had caught me. He was holding me like a princess. My cheeks burned red and I quickly got to my feet.

"T-Thanks. Sorry I'm so clumsy." He chuckled at me as we walked down the drive way and up the street. We arrived at Domino park which had a lake with a trail circling around it.

"So, have you lived in Domino your whole life?" I asked as we walked on the trail.

"Yeah, I was born in Egypt, but moved here right after. I was homeschooled most of my life until my parents died." His eyes grew sad. "So that's why you had never seen me until I joined Domino high."

'That explains why he's so incredibly tan'

He reached into his pocket pulling out a package of smokes before lighting one.

"You should really quit. Those are really bad for your health." He glanced over squinting at me. I looked away from his piercing gaze. I probably shouldn't be telling him what he should and shouldn't be doing. He took a long drag of his smoke before he spoke.

"I know. I'm going to need that gum before I can quit though." My head shot back towards him.

'Did he just take my advice?'

"I told you Yugi. If it's you who's talking, I'll always listen." He smirked as if he read my mind.

We talked for a few hours until we had circled the lake. We found a nice grassy patch and laid down looking at the stars. I never wanted this moment to end. I felt so complete just being near Yami. I took a deep breathe of fresh air and started humming a lullaby my mother used to sing to me. Yami rolled over to me and closed his eyes laying one arm over me and the other under my neck.

"You make me feel so at home Yugi. I never want this end."

"I feel the same" I whispered.

I blushed and rolled onto my side facing him. He pulled me close and placed his lips on mine. He kissed me gently positioning himself over me. He nipped at my bottom lip requesting entry. When I didn't open my mouth his lips trailed down to my neck to where my bruised bite mark was. He licked it earning a moan then he bit and sucked on it. I let out a gasp and grabbed the back of his neck. Seeing the opportunity Yami dove back up to my mouth while it was still opened and slid in his tongue pinning my wrists to the grass. I felt him run it along my teeth then stroke it against the roof of my mouth. I groaned and shivered when he hit a sensitive spot obtaining a growl from deep in his throat. He tasted like cigarettes, but I soon started to enjoy the taste. He massaged my tongue with his own. I started to move mine, wanting to explore his mouth, but was quickly dominated and stopped. He chuckled then broke the kiss. I panted as I looked up at him lazily.

"It's getting late and I don't want you loose your beauty sleep. I think we've had enough fun for one night." I nodded as he kissed my cheek and helped me up. He chuckled while I tried to balance myself. He grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers as he walked me home.

We arrived back at the game shop when Yami suddenly stopped and looked up.

"Yugi. Did you think of a way to get back on the roof?" I stopped and looked up pouting realizing that I had not.

"Any idea's?" I pleaded with him. The front door was locked so I had to find some way onto the roof or I would be in serious trouble.

"Well the good news is it's not to high up. You might be able to reach if you sit on my shoulders." Before I could say anything he bent down putting his head in between my legs and lifted me up. I reached up, but it was just a little bit to high. Yami glanced around trying to find something the boost him up. He turned to find a cement cinder block about a foot off the ground. He placed it under the roof and stepped onto it. I grabbed the edge of the roof and pulled myself up as Yami pushed up my legs assisting me. He stepped down returning the block from where it came before looking my way. I blew him a kiss and winked trying to be cute. He beamed back at me.

"Goodnight Yugi."

"Goodnight. Text me when your home please." I smiled down at him.

"Okay." He walked backwards away from the game shop his eyes never leaving mine. Once he was almost out of sight he waved to me before turning and walking home. I crawled back to my window making sure to be as quiet as possible while climbing in. I couldn't stop smiling. I walked up to my mirror to find I had a permanent blush. I changed into my pyjama's and gasped when I saw my neck. The small brown bruise I had had now changed into a giant purple and blue one. I pulled out my phone and texted Yami.

There's a huge bruise on my neck! How am I going to hide it!?

~ding!~

Your not going to hide it. I want everyone to see. I hate that someone had their mark on you before I did so I made a harsher one to prove a point.

I was flattered and frustrated at his words. I loved that he wanted to make me his, but if grandpa sees it he'll be even more suspicious!

My grandfather already thinks you put the other there... And now he's REALLY going to want to meet you.

~ding!~

That's fine with me. I have nothing to hide. I'm home now btw.

I flopped onto my bed pulling the covers over myself.

We'll talk about it tomorrow. Try to get some sleep tonight.

~ding!~

Goodnight aibou.

My heart exploded at the nickname he gave me. I could die now and I would still be so happy.

Goodnight mou hitori no boku.

I placed my phone onto the dresser and curled up into bed falling asleep with a giant smirk on my face.
