Y/N: "Nah."

Dawn: "Nah? Wait why?!"

You never thought that going out to buy clothes with Dawn would be so exhausting, but this just goes to show that Dawn was... special? You never had any words to describe her, but you knew that she was definitely a peculiar person.

Y/N: "It doesn't suit you. I kinda already like the outfit you wear now."

Dawn: "Oh! Really?"

Y/N: "Yeah, it captures your personality perfectly and... I guess I'm just used to seeing you wear it."

You stretched your arms, then checked the time and saw only one hour had passed since you left your house to go out with Dawn. You sighed while Dawn put back the clothes she found on the shelf.

Dawn: "Well, guess I won't buy anything then."

Although she was the one that chose to go out shopping, not even she knew what to buy with how the money she had, which wasn't much.

Y/N: "I think you should buy something, like..."

You tried to cheer her up, looking around and grabbing a random shirt, handing it to her.

Y/N: "This!"

Dawn: "Reject humanity, return to mankey...?"

Y/N: "Wait what?"

She turned the shirt around and it showed the picture of a mankey extending his hand.

Y/N: "Well... I think its kinda cool."

Dawn: "You're so dumb sometimes, but I like that."

Y/N: "Thank you."

Dawn got closer and jumped in order to kiss you on the cheek.

One minor detail that was left out was that you and Dawn had been going out for a couple of months now, with her asking you out first in a very strange way...

FLASHBACK

Dawn: "If I win, you'll accept my love confession!"

Y/N: "But..."

Dawn: "Buneary, use Ice Beam!"

It didn't look like Dawn was listening to you as she ordered her Buneary to attack your Infernape. But even without you saying anything, Infernape easily dodged the attack, seeing as the little Pokemon fell to the ground.

Y/N: "Okay then, you brought me here so... Infernape, use Mach Punch."

It was obvious who would win since you spent more time training your pokemon, so that Mach Punch that directly hit Buneary was enough to make it faint. Your Infernape looked at you and gave you a thumbs up, almost as if he knew what was going on, but you wouldn't be able to understand him if he said anything, you couldn't speak fire monkey.

Dawn: "I... I demand a rematch!"

You started walking towards Dawn with Infernape, thanking him for going through with the battle and returning him to its pokeball before talking to Dawn.

Dawn: "So, no rematch?"

Dawn returned her fainted Buneary to her pokeball. You took Dawn's hat and ruffled her blue hair.

Y/N: "I was gonna say yes anyways."

Dawn: "Wait, really?"

You caressed her cheek, getting closer and kissing Dawn. It was the first time you had kissed anyone, so you weren't sure if you were doing a good job. You stopped, looking away and letting Dawn process what just happened.

Dawn: "That was unexpected. So the battle wasn't..."

You nodded.

Dawn: "And I was overreacting..."

You nodded again.

Dawn: "Okay. Well, at least we're... this, now. I am so happy and I don't know how to..."

Dawn hugs you, wrapping her arms around you and pushing you down to the grass.

Y/N: "Hey, you alright? Because I am feeling great."

Dawn: "So am I."

There was a bit of silence before you both spoke up at the same time.

Y/N&Dawn: "So what—"

Dawn: "Oh sorry, you first."

Y/N: "Please, you first."

Dawn couldn't stop smiling and you honestly couldn't blame her. You had been waiting for this moment ever since you became friends with her. And now that it finally happened, you couldn't help but feel extremely happy.

Dawn: "So what do we do now?"

You sat there, not knowing what was supposed to happen after such a cute moment between you two.

Y/N: "I... have no idea."

You got comfortable on the grass, yawning as you wrapped your arms around Dawn.

Y/N: "I'll take a nap right here."

Dawn: "Really?!

Dawn got comfortable on top of you, holding your hand and kissing you.

Dawn: "I guess I will too...!"

Back to the Present

Dawn: "Where should we go then?"

You received a message from your good friend Barry, who seemed awfully interested in your love life even though you never even told him about it before. You thought he had liked Dawn too at some point, but after all the jokes and dumb messages he sent you, he was showing you that he was happy for you.

Dawn: "Y/N?"

Y/N: "Y-Yeah?"

Dawn: "You seemed lost there for a second. Did you sleep well?"

Y/N: "I did. I guess... I'm just hungry."

Dawn: "Didn't you eat before coming here?!"

You remembered that you did eat a lot just so you wouldn't go hungry on the date, but the small lie was actually making you go hungry.

Y/N: "Well, yeah but still. I could go for some fried Magikarp right about now..."

Dawn: "That's cruel, but delicious. Let's go!"

You and Dawn went to eat at a restaurant where they served fried Magikarp, because for some reason that was in your mind right now. Your girlfriend was in your mind too, but the fried Magikarp was a priority.
