You had to admit, you weren't very fond of books.

Sophia: "Here."

Sophia hands you a book titled 'The Knight And The Cursed Princess'.

But when you saw someone like Sophia be so passionate about them, you couldn't help but listen to everything she had to say.

Sophia smiles.

Sophia: "This book is about a knight namedβ€”"

Sophia would ramble on for hours about the many adventures she had read of in her books, always saying that she would love to have one of those adventures someday. The idea of meeting new people, hoping that one of them is the love of your life, then saving the world with them had always fascinated her. Even though you thought it seemed a bit repetitive, you could see the charm in them.

Sophia: "I think it's very interesting!"

Sophia holds your hand for a moment, and once she realized, she got flustered and let go.

Sophia: "I'm sorry!"

She used the book to cover her blushing face, looking away from you.

Y/N: "That's fine, it happens."

But what she didn't know was that you would take her to a place far beyond anything she had ever read...

"Y/N!"

Y/N: "Yes?"

"Gee, sometimes, I think you're the airhead here!"

Y/N: "So you finally admit you're stupid."

Catarina Claes could usually be seen as a beautiful princess in plain sight, but she was actually the complete opposite of what people think princesses are. She was still beautiful, even you had to admit, but when it came to using her brain... well, let's just say she is stupid, like you said, but in a positive way, since dumb people could still be attractive.

Catarina: "I never said stupid!"

Y/N: "I'm kidding. What time is it?"

Catarina: "No idea, but you're late for your date with Sophia, aren't you?"

Y/N: "Oh meatballs, you're right!"

Catarina: "Meatballs sound really good right now..."

Y/N: "Of course you would think that. See ya later, Bakarina!"

Catarina: "Bakarina?! Where did that come from?! Answer me!"

You stood up and started running, checking your left arm and seeing your temporary tattoo was still there. Hopefully, the thing you were about to pull off would work, and if it didn't, that would be a whole new problem to deal with.

You finally got to the bookshop where Sophia was looking for you, looking just a bit sad that you weren't there in time.

Y/N: "Sophia! Sorry I'm late!"

You stood next to Sophia, breathing heavily due to how fast you had ran. Sophia pats your back, which was appreciated.

Y/N: "I'm fine... Sorry I'm late, I fell asleep!"

Sophia: "T-That's alright! Where did you wanna go?"

Y/N: "How many books have you read, my dear Sophia?"

Sophia: "W-Well, I don't actually keep count, but quite a few of them. Why?"

You pulled back your sleeve, revealing a strange 'VI' tattoo on your left arm.

Y/N: "Well, I'll show you something you've never read of before. Hold my hand."

Sophia, although feeling kind of suspicious as to what the tattoo on your arm was since she had never seen it before, held your hand because she knew she could trust you. The tattoo started glowing, and all of a sudden, you two disappeared.

You were blinded by a white light before appearing in a garden. Sophia was standing next to you, a bit confused by what just happened, but now admiring everything around her. She turned her head to see the several different animals living peacefully, trees, ponds, flowers of all colors, it was like paradise. She had never seen anything like it before.

Sophia: "This place... it's beautiful."

Y/N: "Welcome to the garden of Eden. Come come, there's a lot to see. We'll start... by going over there, onward!"

Sophia: "O-Onward!"

It took forever to discover a perfect place to take Sophia, but the secret garden of Eden was the closest thing to it, and all it took was some dumb-looking tatoo to get there. You only got a couple of hours there so you had to use them well.

Sophia seemed delighted by everything she saw, jumping over small, narrow rivers while slightly lifting her dress up was probably one of the cutest things you've ever seen.

A time where all was good in the world.

You two decided to sit down under the shade of a tree, and you saw a beautiful flower so you picked it up and handed it to Sophia.

Sophia: "T-Thank you."

Y/N: "So, what do you think?"

Sophia: "I have no words to possibly describe this place. I never read about something like this either, almost as if this place never existed."

Y/N: "It once did. But humans can be quite... stupid. Not all though, I'm sure there's good apples out there."

And just the mention of an apple was enough to make your stomach grumble. Sophia giggles.

Sophia: "I should have brought you something."

Y/N: "Don't worry about it, I'll beβ€”"

Something hit your head pretty hard, and when you looked down, you saw a golden apple on the floor.

Sophia: "Oh, what a coincidence."

Y/N: "I don't think that belongs to us. Oh right!"

Sophia: "W-What?"

You grabbed the golden apple and threw it somewhere else with a lot of force, accidentally knocking someone out that walked around the forest, but you didn't know this. You got on one knee, extending your hand.

Y/N: "Sophia, would you..."

Sophia held her breath, not knowing what you were going to say.

Y/N: "Like to write a book with me?"

Sophia: "Y/N, y-you scared me...!"

Y/N: "What did you think I was going to say?"

Sophia: "N-Nothing..."

Sophia looked at the flower, then at you, and a cute smile formed on her face.

Sophia: "I would love to."

Y/N: "Great! Now..."

You turned around, pointing at your back and making Sophia confused.

Y/N: "Piggyback ride!"

Sophia: "What?"

Y/N: "Come on, I don't bite."

Sophia: "Okay..."

Sophia got on your back, wrapping her soft arms around your neck making sure she wasn't making you uncomfortable. You put your hands on her thighs to make sure she wouldn't fall, liking the feeling of them a bit too much.

Y/N: "Let's go back, shall we?"

Sophia was blushing like crazy, but was really happy that she got to spend a whole afternoon with you. A successful date. You started running, feeling the wind in your air as a white light blinded you...

When you opened your eyes, you saw the town in front of you. You were back with Sophia and when you checked your arm, the tattoo was no more.

Y/N: "We're home!"

When you turned around, you found Catarina eating something which you accidentally knocked out of her hand and watched how it fell, but you managed to catch it.

Catarina: "M-My muffin!"

Y/N: "Sorry. Didn't see you there."

You ate the rest of Catarina's muffin right in front of her because of hungry you were, seeing Catarina grow an angry expression on her face as she held back her tears.

Catarina: "Y/N..."

Y/N: "I'll leave you now. Come on Sophia!"

With Sophia still on your back, you ran away as an angry Catarina chased you both.
