Sad that I stopped playing Genshin, but I still love its characters. Being busy 24/7 doesn't let me grind for primogens so no new characters for me ever πŸ˜”

P.S.: Damn, mona got a DUMPTRUCK

"What? Hey!"

In the words of a wise witch "If there's someone who's obviously needing help, you should assist them as much as they will allow you to", and even if she was only referring to one specific person, this witch is still right.

The astrologer that rested on the small bed woke up in a frenzy, falling from said bed simply because she couldn't recognize the place around her at first, but once she saw you, her expression changed from shock to obvious anger.

"I have told you time and time again that I do not need your help Y/N!"

She stands up, patting her legs which you took time to observe curiously. Such a beauty, they sure were, and if someone keeps looking, one thing that could be noticed is that they've gotten a bit thicker. A blessing from the Gods, for sure.

"Don't just stare at my legs!" She responds when she catches your obvious glare from across the small room, so you stopped.

"Sorry."

"About my legs, or kidnapping me?"

"You needed someplace to sleep, right?"

As stubborn as she is, Mona knew she needed a place to at least stay the night specially after she had been kicked out of her own little place for not paying the rent in time. She couldn't set a camp her entire life, and she would be lying to herself if she said she didn't sleep like a baby on that damned bed.

Mona: "Whatever it is, stop it."

Y/N: "I can't exactly do that. Today you'll accompany me and I'll make sure you're taken care of properly. And yeah, that means exactly what you think it means."

Mona absolutely despised the idea of others keeping an eye on her, but the enigmatic astrologer was willing to accept it and not because it was you that's taking care of her but because, truth be told, she hadn't eaten in a while.

Mona: "I-I suppose a change of pace once in a while isn't such a bad thing."

Y/N: "That's the spirit, now come on it's time to eat."

You were never really a fan of Mona's ideas and opinions on material things. It was clear to you that it was all a lie so you wouldn't worry about her so much, but she was so bad at doing so that you end up worrying about her a lot, and today is the day you'll finally try to get her out of this lifestyle of not having enough Mora to go by, even if she seemed hesitant in accepting your helping hand.

The atmosphere of the restaurant you entered was very welcoming, and after you sat down you realized Mona seemed nervous.

Y/N: "What do you wanna eat?"

Mona: "Well... I usually just eat a salad. You know, it's light, fulfilling, and completely cheap too!"

Y/N: "Listen, I like your body and how fit you are, but I'm pretty sure I can get you something a lot better than just salad, alright?"

Mona worries for how much money would be wasted on this "overpriced fancy food", but your constant insistence eventually convinced her and she accepted. Once the food had arrived, you saw that it was a big meal, and by the way Mona stared at it, you knew she was pondering on whether or not she even deserved something like the absolute masterpiece that sat in front of her. She's even thinking as to how much you were paying for it, feeling bad about it every passing minute.

The girl constantly looked at the food, and then at you as if waiting for confirmation so she could start eating. You chuckled a bit before you nodded, telling her that you would proudly pay for it just to make her stop staring at the plate as if it was death itself. When she started eating it, and she did eventually feel a lot more confident in eating as much as she wanted, you knew you were helping with filling her stomach to her heart's content, and that made you happy.

When Mona realized you were watching her eat like an absolute beast, she blushed and wiped her mouth with a napkin. Your response was just to take a bite of your own food, then looking away for a moment in order to not laugh.

Mona: "W-What?"

Y/N: "Nothing, I'm just... glad you're enjoying the food."

Mona: "This won't happen ever again, so don't get used to it..."

Y/N: "What do you wanna do after?"

Mona: "If you're going to make me follow you for the rest of the day, then you should be the one to choose."

Y/N: "Mmkay, I think I got a place."

Y/N: "What do you think?"

Walking around the humble antiquities shop, Mona seemed to be happy yet sad at the same time, possibly wondering as to how many things she could buy for her personal and astrology needs, but then realizing she could not afford anything at all due to her monetary problem.

There was a plethora of interesting items that, when you checked them up close, were surprisingly cheap and would not hurt if you spent some Mora on these magical things that Mona looked at with starry eyes.

Y/N: "You can go ahead and get some stuff, I'm not holding you back."

Mona: "But I don't haveβ€”"

Y/N: "After the amount that you just ate, you really think you're the one that'll pay? Don't worry, it's all covered."

Mona: "You may have more than me, but you're not rich."

Y/N: "I'm the definition of rich. You know how much I earn just for being an adventurer?"

Mona: "How much?"

Your smile slightly falters, and you're left thinking as to how much you actually earned from the Adventurer's Guild. It's not like you excessively spent the Mora you obtained, so maybe that's the reason why you had so much.

Y/N: "Not a lot actually, but I get enough and then some!"

Mona: "If you say so..."

Looking around, Mona spent her time looking at objects placed around in the shelfs, displayed on tables and other things that hung around. Once she picked two items in particular, a celestial globe and a chart that seemed to be of use to her but absolutely confused you, she walked back with a crystal clear blushing expression on her already adorable face.

Mona: "I hope it's not much..."

Y/N: "Consider it a present from my part!"

You spoke to the person selling the items, a beautiful lady with a significantly obvious quality that Mona seemed to envy quite a bit. One of her eyes was covered by her long, luscious hair and her smile was strangely comforting.

Y/N: "Wait, this globe is how much?"

She whispers into your ear, and then you whisper into hers, bargaining with the lady until she was defeated and decided to give you a discount for it.

Y/N: "I am undefeated!"

When you finally paid what you had to, you and Mona left the lady on her own to think about her life choices and how she was defeated by someone younger than her just because they were good at bargaining.

Mona: "What happened back there?"

Y/N: "I used a secret power that no one else has, so don't ask for details."

Mona: "What did you offer her?"

Y/N: "I said not to ask, otherwise it's not secret!"

*Nighttime*

Mona: "This is an unexpected location. Why are we here?"

You had grabbed Mona and climbed up a fairly tall building in Mondstadt, obviously checking that there wasn't anyone around before doing so. Then, you sat down and afterwards convinced Mona to do the same. You two now looked at each other, and Mona was patiently waiting for something to happen.

Y/N: "Look up."

Stars. Mona knew those bright things living up in the vast sky more than she did the palm of her hand. She is an astrologer after all, and it was kind of her duty to know as much as possible. Right now, the feeling that emerged when looking at them, just like every time she starred at such a beautiful sight, was wonder.
With you sitting next to her, that feeling inside of her intensified, and the fact that Mona got to share this intimate moment with you made her feel as if this night was going to end up being a lot more meaningful than it's supposed to be.

Y/N: "How do you feel?"

Mona looks at you, her pale green eyes connecting with your own bright yet mysterious ones.

Mona: "...Are you seeking a reward because of what you've done for me today?"

Y/N: "No, I just wonder if you enjoyed our little time together, even if it was just, you know, a little."

Mona: "Well, I am thankful, but I'm also really glad it's you that... offered your kind hand for me to grab."

Y/N: "That's good. Maybe there's a chance that you wanna do the same thing tomorrow?"

Mona: "I'm not certain... you've already done so much and I don't want to just take, but give too."

Y/N: "You know you don't have to feel that way. We're friends, aren't we? I think you're giving me enough by being here. But in the end, it is your choice."

Mona looked to the stars for an answer and afterwards, it became evidently clear that no matter what she chose, you'd still end up offering her what she needed and a lot more, and so a chuckle escaped her at the thought of it.

Y/N: "I can see there's something funny going on in that head of yours."

Mona: "Maybe. I'll accept your offer, and will meet you tomorrow near the fountain in the plaza."

Y/N: "Where are you sleeping?"

Mona: "You don't have to worry..."

Y/N: "You're doing that thing againβ€”"

Mona: "Because I'm sleeping with you tonight, if that's okay with you."

Y/N: "Ah."

This is definitely an interesting thing to hear her say. It was like Mona is starting to understand that maybe accepting help from others is not so bad after all.
Especially if it's coming from you, that is another important factor here.

Mona: "B-But not in the same bed! We won't sleep in the same bed!"

Y/N: "Of course! Of course..."

You two stayed quiet for a second, and just to end this awkward silence, your mind remembered something that Mona had told you a while ago.

Y/N: "Oh yeah, can I call you Meg now? Since we're like, super close now."

Out of embarrassment, Mona covered her face with her hat, but then shook her head before responding.

Mona: "I thought I told you not to bring it up ever again!"

Y/N: "Alright... but can I?"

Mona: "N-No! My name is short enough!"
