"Anybody in there? Hellooooo~"

Your voice interrupted Hilda's staring at nothing session.

Hilda: "Huh? Yeah. Yeah totally."

Y/N: "You alright?"

Hilda: "Oh please, I am fine and ready to uhhhhh, what were we doing?"

You grabbed the two movie tickets you had in your pocket and waved them in front of Hilda's face which helped her remember what she was going to be doing.

Hilda: "Right! How could I forget? We were going to watch that one movie..."

Y/N: "Which is?"

Hilda: "The one with the colorful people, and there's this dog that talks and has like a sword..."

Y/N: "I am extremely disappointed in you right now."

Hilda: "Sorry I just, I've been thinking about someone—thing! Something."

With only your friend in mind, you placed the tickets back in your pocket and dragged her to the nearest place to sit down, which was fortunately a bench at the park which was close by. You looked at her but she didn't seem to be paying to attention, so you tried pulling off that weird English accent you did from time to time.

Y/N: "Something on your mind dear?"

Hilda: "Really? Ah well, it's just, it's—"

A certain girl was walking towards you, which made Hilda squint her eyes at her, with a hint of jealousy in her eyes as well as hatred.

Hilda: "I'm fine. Yeah."

With her amiable expression and gentle, soft voice, Rosa greeted you.

Rosa: "Hey! I didn't expect to see you around here! How are you doing?"

Y/N: "I'm doing great actually."

Rosa: "Great! Oh hey Hilda, didn't see you there!"

Hilda looked over to Rosa's adorable smile, which made her want to throw up in her mouth. Hilda muttered under her breath something along the lines of 'I'm completely fine' but you thought you might have just been hearing things.

Hilda: "Hey Rosa—"

Rosa: "So! Where are you two going?"

Y/N: "We were actually going to watch a movie, if you want to come."

Rosa: "I would love to!"

Hilda: "Oh, okay then. Sure you can come whatever."

Rosa had already grabbed you by the arm as she pulled you to your destination with Rosa behind the two of you. Without you knowing, Rosa had turned to look at Hilda and stuck her tongue out, which made Hilda even more furious at the girl who you thought was innocent, but secretly had a plan to keep you all to herself.

The three of you had reached the theater, with Rosa buying her ticket there. You all entered the room and took your seats, with you in the middle and Rosa on your left and Hilda on your right.

A couple of minutes had passed, Rosa still held your left arm as if it was a teddy bear while Hilda looked at her with envy, how much she wanted to be the one to hold you and love you, but instead there was someone in her way.

A couple more minutes had passed, Rosa somehow managed to hold your hand without you noticing her hand was there. Hilda only had a couple of minutes left before Rosa made her final moves, so she skipped the slow and steady route, grabbing your face to turn and look at her as she pressed her lips against yours for three seconds, then going back to watching the movie, blushing intensely when she had realized what she had done. Even Rosa was surprised that Hilda was able to just do that.

Y/N: "That was... wow. I'm confused."

Hilda: "Let's go."

Hilda dragged you out of the movie theater, with Rosa trying to catch up to the both of you.

Rosa: "Wait you cannot just take him like that!"

Hilda: "I just did!"

Y/N: "What's going on?"

It seemed like the two girls were staring at each other, as if that did anything to stop the other. You, on the other hand, were still confused as to why they screamed at each other.

Rosa: "I really like you Y/N."

Hilda: "I do too!"

Y/N: "Woah woah okay, what's with you two? Did you kill each other's pokemon or something?"

Hilda: "Didn't you hear us? We both love you, and we've been...."

Y/N: "Hating each other because of it?"

Rosa: "Yes!"

You shook your head, finding their battle for you absolutely ridiculous. You started thinking about it some more and it would be very hard to choose. Rosa was more the "girl next door" type person, sweet, gentle, like a flower. Hilda was more energetic, cool, and passionate. Both beautiful and great, you probably couldn't bring yourself to choose. Taking out your phone, you looked at a message that you received, which reminded you that....

Y/N: "I actually have a date. With someone else."

Hilda/Rosa: "HEH?!?!"

Y/N: "Lower the volume please?"

Rosa snatched the phone and tapped on it

Rosa: "What does she have that we don't?"

Y/N: "I was kidding. I'm not actually going out with anyone. I'm gonna go now, so you two have fun!"

You ran away from the two girls, leaving the two girls alone to hate each other some more, secretly of course.

Rosa: "Listen..."

Hilda: "I want peace Rosa. None of us are gonna get him that way."

Rosa: "Agreed."

Hilda: "But... I did steal a kiss from him."

Rosa: "Yeah yeah, you got the win this time. But next time—!"

Hilda was walking away.

Rosa: "Don't ignore me!"

A DAY LATER

You were hanging out with Hilbert, a good friend of yours, and Nate, your brother.

Hilbert: "Did they really do that?"

Y/N: "They did! I don't know what to do man."

Nate: "Here listen, just pick one. The one that you can connect with the most is the one you go out with, simple. One of them might be hurt at the end but if they're truly your friend, then they should forgive and forget and be fine with it."

Hilbert: "Nate's right, at the end of the day, you're the one with the decisive vote."

Y/N let out a sigh, then smirked.

Y/N: "When did you two get so wise?"

Nate: "I've been reading lately."

Your conversation was interrupted by the two girls running straight at you, quickly stopping to catch their breath.

Hilda: "It ends—"

Rosa: "Today."

Hilbert: "Aww, you girls finish each other's sentences—"

Hilda/Rosa: "Shut up Hilbert!"

Hilbert: "Wow, sorry."

The two girls were panting, they probably ran a long way to finally see you and end their war once and for all.

Hilda: "Spill it! Who do you like more?"

Rosa: "Come on, I would do anything you ask of me."

Hilda: "I would do the same!"

Y/N: "Okay that's it how about we all—"

All words left your mouth as your gaze was diverted to a certain gym leader wearing casual clothes instead of her regular gym clothes, which completely took you by surprise. It surprised the other boys as well, with Nate choking on his drink and Hilbert falling off his chair.

"How do I look...."

Rosa: "You're kidding..."

Hilda: "Oh my Arceus."

Everyone was looking at Skyla, who seemed to be a bit nervous since this was the first time she was going out with anyone.

Y/N: "You look... really cute!"

Skyla: "T-Thanks! Y-You're pretty cute too! I mean! That's not what I—"

Y/N: "It's fine. I know what you meant."

Hilda and Rosa looked at each other, knowing that they had both lost, but also realizing that maybe you were happier with someone else so it wasn't bad for everyone.

Y/N: "Let's go then!"

Skyla: "Right! We should."

The two trainers shyly walked side by side, with Skyla grazing Y/N's hand accidentally, which turned into them holding hands as they walked.

Nate: "Hah! Would you look at that! I love when unexpected things happen!"

Hilbert: "The look on their faces is priceless."

When you two were finally away from that situation, you and Skyla sighed.

Y/N: "Thank you, you saved me."

Skyla: "No problem! Now, how about we go eat something? I'm starving!"

Y/N: "Sounds like a date!"

Skyla: "Well i-it's not!"
